You are a good presenter. I have been using Luterloh since the mid 80s. I have sewn for my daughter and myself. I have made garments for when I was 60lbs heavier than I am now. I always have to make a short waist adjustment and often need to widen the sleeve at the bicep. I am 100% pleased with this system. I use a few TNT Vogue patterns, but I find that Ihave to make too many fit adjustments using the Big $ patterns. You may want to consider Cashmerette, I hear good things about their drafting and their sizing. I will say this about what you made. With Lutterloh: you would have probably achieved a better fit with one of their fuller figure patterns. Also doing a bit of pattern work before cutting would help. I always do a pine fitting of the paper pattern and sometimes make a half or full muslin. I HATE making lots of adjustments as well, and that is why I have stayed with Lutterloh for 30+ years. Your presenting style as I said is very good, clear, concise and professional.
I always wondered how you could get a great fit with two measurements. You did a very good job despite the struggles with fit. I love that you actually have a sewing ecosystem. And awesome Berninas. I find Itch to Stitch patterns take only a few adjustments and Love Notions takes more especially in the upper bust/armhole area so mostly I use them for knits. I'm still trying to figure out my size in Cashmerette.
Using your uper bust measurment when drafting the pattern above the arm holes will get rid of the extra fabric you don't like in that area. The blouse looks get on you . Did you remember to add seam allance? If so try adding a little more in the hip area that you want more ease
The video is well done. Seeing the end result is the reason I no longer purchase patterns at all. I buy rtw clothes that fit fairly well and make adjustments to fit and/or style changes. It amazes me how different fabric makes a difference in how the garment fits. The garment you made might have fit better if it was cut on the bias or a different fabric was used.
I still have mine in the cute little binder it came in, with supplements, have never used it :( I have tried other patterns of theirs, and like you I am over the fitting part of sewing. I have quit even bothering to sew clothing for myself. Will continue to sew for the Grandkids simple pajama bottoms this year.
I love Lotterloh System versatility. What I do is check, adjust and modify all my important musurements on the paper pattern BEFORE I add seams allowance and of course, before I cut the fabric. Make a quick muslin test. Only then I carry on with construccion process and have no fitting issues at the end
Why didn't you use a pattern devised for fuller figured people? I'm actually quite impressed with how well it fits considering the ease in a regular Lutterloh pattern.
Wow, what a perfect video! Thank you for your efforts on it. So helpful.❤🎉

Serious sewing skills! I could never

I have that system. Used it two times in the 25yrs or so. I’m a little lazy now. Probably won’t do it again.😁

You look very professional in your presentaron and thank you for technical books you shared to us. Regards from Mexico

How do you add the seam allowance?
I use a special ruler that is 5/8 inch wide. stitchbuzz.com It makes the process much easier!
Its nice
Since you don’t like the system would you be willing to sell it?
Probably not. I may give it one more try.
Thank you, now I know I should not buy Lutterloh.
