3:40 I thought about that, so here's a hint for everyone: You can just get the other gender set from the vendor you get the eat chocolate emote and just keep it in the chest you can use for achievement stuff until the day it's not genderlocked anymore comes
ALSO: If you forget to check the vendor, then RIP to your emote, but you have a second chance to get the other gender outfit - it should be permanently added to the Recompense Officer in a patch or two from now, like all other seasonal events. You just need to get the achievement while the event is going on to unlock it.
Fun fact: according with the Encyclopaedia Eorzea, Aenor's full name (the girl who wants to get spit roasted by the Boulder bros) is "Aenor Cockburne".
Me and my friend did the kupo duty - we got 98 on the bond and got near perfect on the memory game bc some guesses were correct… we still got ‘favourable’ - so pr sure you can’t get anything higher than that other than if you maybe completely 100% it
Should note we went to 30 bond on the first try and failed miserably with the cards and STILL got favourable on that one on our first try. The 98 bond was our second try. Ye

For the minigames I got randomly matched with a minimum height Lalafell...I'm a maximum height Elezen. Romance was not in the air on that blind date, lol.
i swear the event rating system was just spun at random. I ran it a few times even getting perfect souls with people that would actually talk just to get a low rating, but when running it with a lalafell that wanted to speedrun it and barely finishing with a score of 2 and taking 10 minutes on the cards we somehow got kindred spirits.
No joke, I made my WoL have a bunny name with the intent to fanta to it when I upgraded off trail, but with no hats and the lala emotes I changed to potato elf and have not looked back(Just gotta wear bunny ears to have the bun name make sense)
I'm a cutscene skipper and so I entered the special Valentione's day duty without actually knowing what it was... the random mechanist I matched with was a very nice partner LMFAO

god i had no idea what aenor was on about. not sure if its more or less weird with context. also like everyone else the theme of the quest is cute and immediately undermined by the clothes being genderlocked. especially since someone on cohost had datamined and found the outfit months ago, they had it wearable on a bunny boy just fine. :/ at least these outfits can just be stored in the armorie until the cash shop team frees them.

This event was fucking wild as a Nonbinary person, because the theme of self love and 'wearing what clothes you like, damn the gender norms' felt really great and validating. And then I felt completely fucking flabbergasted when the gear sets were genderlocked. I have to believe there's some weird stubborn boomer who wont budge. I don't even think its a cash shop thing, you can just buy the other set for 5k gil, which is nothing, and just store it until its not, so they're not gonna get any sales like that. It's genuinely baffling.
