      You do not have right to generalize and apply all bad things to Muslim. I am a good Christian but I born and raise with muslims. For good people there is nothing wrong to be a Muslim however Gegard is not muslim.

      The UFC is listening to their audience. Take a look at the average UFC PPV buyer; and this stupidity starts to make sense.

    • @YOUENNNN

      His fights against machida and jacaré were not close at all, they were clear losses. Then 4 wins streak againsts Leites, Santos, Vitor and Uriah, they are not top contenders... then he beat weidman who was on a losing streak.
      Don't get me wrong I love Gegard, i'm from Europe, I root for him but I think dana was right, he just needed one more fight after the great win against Chris Weidman...

    • @arryharry
      @arryharry 7 лет назад +8

      Calvin Rimes draw or not, this is big. The majority of MMA fans who watch the UFC / Bellator are not casuals, and in the eyes of MMA media (who are dedicated to the sport of MMA) this is s big deal, they'll treat it as such and image is everything.
      Strikeforce was bought out, Coker won't let it happen again and Bellator is quickly catching up to those Halcyon days of a stern UFC competitor. The last 6 months, the gap has closed and money/prizes for prize fighters is coming into focus again. The Reebok deal ruined everything for them.

    • @rquintero3
      @rquintero3 7 лет назад +8

      rquintero3 what actual money fights were there besides Conor? GSP vs Bisping? That fight isn't even happening anymore

    • @rquintero3
      @rquintero3 7 лет назад +1

      Reflex CM might be cuz Whittaker injured his leg so either bisping waits or fights gsp and I think he'll take gsp and then fight Whittaker while rockhold just sits there and jacare I guess

    • @haydentrujillo7471
      @haydentrujillo7471 7 лет назад +1

      rquintero3 I mean bisping said it himself he will fight the interim champ. He even walked into to the cage to face off with Whittaker after the fight. But who knows, Gsp just needs to fight woodley

    • @rquintero3
      @rquintero3 7 лет назад +1

      Reflex CM yea he did say that but that doesn't meant he won't be fighting bisping. Whittaker injured his leg in that fight and is out for a bit. Bisping I'm sure Weill be ready soon so he's not gonna wait around for Whittaker. Gsp is also ready so that fight will happen

      Hi T1000 | The UFC could be on the verge of losing McGregor (the dollaz + family, not Bellator), DJ, Iaquinta, Weidman, and Bisbing (injury + retirement), all within 12 to 18 months, which would be a big promo/marketing loss.

    • @foxtrotwhiskeymike
      @foxtrotwhiskeymike 7 лет назад +1

      no that's honestly the last thing we need, bellator was/is playing a good role as a B devision, a stepping stone for up and comers and a place for people on the downside of their career to fight, if they start competing neck and neck we're gonna have a situation where the best are not fighting each other because theyre in different promotions.

    • @vigusdna3760
      @vigusdna3760 7 лет назад +3

      I think u are right! Bellator is already getting close to say a StrickForce & could well be on their way to be a Pride & Rival the UFC! If they can they need to focus on building 2 divisions and spend a lot to get the top guys in the world in 2 divisions & also sign other top guys in different divisions to slowly build a promotion that has top level fighters in every division but start with having 2 divisions that at the worst are equal in to the UFC's Talent & that way they can promote that they have the best, say ex. The best welterweight division etc. best division in the world!

  • @dankpank9594
    @dankpank9594 7 лет назад +30

    Every fighter should dump the UFC for Bellator. They would be acting in their own best interest. If all the UFC has to hang their hat on is that they have the best fighters in the world, then that is becoming less and less true with all these defectors now isn't it.

    The signing of Rory MacDonald really opened my eyes to Bellator. I bought their NYC fight on PPV and it made me a fan of their organization. If UFC keeps letting big fish get away they are going to slide into the #2 company in the next 5 years or less. They better hope Conor sticks around.

    UFC is so short sighted. Their middleweight division is hot right now, but in about a year when Whittaker has beaten Bisping, and maybe Romero in a rematch, how many big fights can be made at 185? UFC can't afford to let top middleweight talent go.

  • @ebi6544

    Gerard needed to call out names after fights, just like many popular fighters did for their big fights, like Nate nick when they called out GSP and Connor, or Khabib when he called out Connor, Sonnen when called Out Silva. The other problem is that Gegard is not a trash talker, which most of those who got a big fight after call outs have. He’s just a nice guy who’s not intimidating or a trash talker.

      Kamen Kunchev yes and no id say. Yes because they became so much about the business and about the money, that they don't really care about fight quality as long as it sells tickets - CM punk is the proof of that. Now don't get me wrong UFC *IS* a business, but the difference between making money and quality of fights was not this drastic.
      And no, because it's making MMA grow at such a fast rate. Especially this show fight with conor and floyd. So many eyes are on MMA now and it's finally getting the respect this sport deserves.
      The new owners of UFC just don't care about the sport - that's pretty much TL;DR.
