The show should have more Brighton screen time, he is perfect for the role. His one liners are hillarious...especially to Maggie
And he looks like maxwell’s son too!

Taking the lid on & off would take longer on screen and would be more noisy.

Must have cost quite a bit. Fran said in an interview that her stylist always insisted she wore designer clothes and also had the production team install the staircase in the living room so viewers could see her glide up and down the staircase in style. It was all well thought out and planned. And to satisfy the curiosity of viewers who would be tempted to question how a nanny on a modest income could regularly afford such expensive clothes the scriptwriters had Fran say on the show from time to time she got her clothes from some cheap store. And their insistence on a quality production has paid off. Today it is obvious The Nanny is a classic for all time.

My biggest issue with Fran during this season is that she stared at the camera far too often when saying the punchlines. It lost its effectiveness and became very repetitive.
Mmm that's what made me fall even more in love with the show...I guess everyone has their opinion
