  • Georgia Louise, owner of NYC-based Atelier, is an international skincare expert and she's here to tell you about the five beauty products she cannot live without. She crafted her first product, The Georgia Louise Balm, a decade ago as an answer to her need for a gentle and natural oil makeup remover. Her second product is Environ's C-Quence Serum, which she describes as a vitamin drip for your face. Another versatile serum Georgia loves is The Concentrate by La Mer. It helps to stabilize and strengthen the skin and acts like a finishing serum as well. Her favorite moisturizing cream is Biologique Recherche's Creme Masque Vernix (use it as a night mask for extra benefits!) and Georgia's fifth product, The eye Concentrate by La Mer, will help with puffy eyes in the morning.

Creme Masque Vernix actually has amniotic fluid in it. It's the most amazing product I have ever used. You wake up to beautiful skin. There is not a product in Sephora or Ulta that will make your kind look like this.

Hilarious that an esthetician would use such unstable products in jars with fragrance.

They have preservatives so they’re not as unstable as you may think. Some of the products like the creme masque vernix are fragrance free. Hope that helps :)

Has anyone tried the environ youth essentia c-quence serum she recommended? I looked into it and I see it’s made by one of the top 5 dermatologists in the world Dr. Des...but I’ve never herd about this brand? It’s pricy but I like you only need 2 products...any info?

La Mer: The biggest joke in the beauty industry.. unnecessarily overpriced and over-hyped.

Lauren Bray Totally agree, I splurged on the la met eye cream before and thought it might work wonders but after I used the total jar of the eye cream...... I felt nothing..... just a regular cream

Yeah no nothing with Ylang Ylang is going to be gentle, it’s waay too fragrant and harsh for sensitive skin. I’m always a bit skeptical of estheticians who recommend heavily fragranced and irritating essential oil based products especially when they’re the ones making the product.

She’s a professional skincare expert?? Fragrance in your products, La Mer is a sea weed humectant joke, cleansing balms do not require any physical removal that pulls the skin and no favourite sunscreen? $$$$ = quality 🤣

Fellow esthi here. I have a hard time believing that any esthetician worth their salt would recommend ANYTHING from La Mer. But not only that...a La Mer EYE CREAM?? Eye creams are one of the biggest cons in skin care. All they are are moisturizers.
