Thanks for checking it out! I thought it was a good buy, too... I only looked at it for about 10 seconds before counting out the money on the hood, haha.
Hey, thanks for checking it out! There will definitely be a "Will it Run" episode for this one, probably next summer... Meanwhile, I've got a couple more episodes coming up soon.
Beautiful original shape, great score! I used to have `47 Plymouth w/suicide drs, flathead-6, running gear all restored but still original body & interior. Loved the musty smell & imagined old WWII tunes from the radio as I drove. Also had `38 Dodge Bros pickup aquired as rat-rod project but never finished. Ford 9" rear, sm blk Chev motor mounts, etc etc
Never been a mopar fan but thats a clean nice looking car. Definitely dont paint it, it earned that finish. Plus I always feel bad for painting over an original paint job. Really want to see this one running
what a Beautiful piece, so many want to bring a vehicle back to life only to have fortune invested, i like the idea you take on, nothing like driving something from way back in the day, like the person that parked it. Thanks for showing us all.
I love the Plymouth. Great save. I just love how you rescued it after sitting in a field for years, and the doors still fit better than anything from 2013.
Lucky, lucky, lucky, great find and so little rust after outdoors for so long, even has original double pinstripe on the wheels.I remember my dad's 52 Cranbrook had doors that closed just with a firm push of your thumb.
LOve to watch your video's, I am from Quebec but I spend my winters in Florida and TV shows are bad down here, so I fell in love with your shows and barn finds. Keep it up !
+Robert Bisson Hey, thanks for the note, glad you liked it! Enjoy those nice warm Florida winters... my Grandfather used to winter there too! Cheers from me and Stella!
I love watching your videos. If I had the space I'd probably be collecting field finds of my own. The best part of your videos though is Stella. She's always awesome!! :~)
beautiful 41 Plymouth you have there Coldwarmotors! love her patina! i would love to get a 41 Plymouth like that to use as my daily driver! these cars are durable, reliable and luxury to use they just don't make them good as they use to.
This is a nice car really like the ones from this era I'm from IL. down in the United States everything rusts here you can hear the metal rusting you can also watch the grass growing so cars don't last long here to make matters worse they use salt on the roads to speed up the process so we don't see cars this old here unless someone has restored one for car shows which kinda looks like a new car and rarely have original stuff in them thanks for the video's real cool man!
Hi Scott. I just got a 1941 Plymouth Roadking. Ownership says 1940, but by Vin etc its definitely a 1941. Interestingly enough they say the Roadking was dropped in 1941 for the Deluxe model (P11). I'm thinking this being a Windsor (Canadian built car). It kept with the Roadking Emblem. I've wanted one of these since I saw the story of it being taken on the Pan-American highway back in 1941, it was more or definitely less a trail. Check out Richardson Expedition
You can preserve the car a little better by spreading linseed oil on the outside, then washing it off so it don't attract dirt. Its a little bit like wax for rust.
If you want to increase the disability of your tear lights, paint the inner assemblers white. I read this somewhere about 40 years ago. It worked on our 41 Continental.
would it be safe to say that because the car has been in Canada for so long, the colder average temperatures kept it from rotting away? the condition is amazing considering it has been outside for many years. LOVE those suicide doors!
you will have to get a driver side windshield because it has lost something, other than that, its perfect!! we once had a 504 Peugeot - great comfort, the whole thing.
I found a complete 64 Ford Squire wagon abandoned in the Ca. desert while flying to Bull Head city. I landed my bush plane to check it out. No dents, no vandalism, just left a hundred miles away from any man made object in open desert.
Yet another cool video on a cool old car! What's your price range for these oldies - if I may be so bold to ask? Do you get these 40's and 50's buggies real cheap?
And part 3 was recently included. Glad to see this girl run, it's like freezing a '50's hooker, and unfreezing her nowadays. Prestine, and as beautiful as the first day.
One thing I don't understand is how you can start up one that has been sitting for a long time and expect not to do damage to the bearings. I had a Pontiac that sat for 10 years in the garage. My dad said that it would throw a bearing, maybe not right away. Anyway, I got it running again, and sure enough not that long and it threw a rod bearing. My dad was very old school and been around the block many many times.
My Grandpa bought a used '39 Dodge when he got out of the Army after WW2 and drove it to around '65 or so. From what I was told it was a great car...and pretty similar to this I think.
What size is that 6 flat-head....in cu-in and or HP? Can't wait to see that restoration...when you get bored$ of your '41 to '47 plymouths, dodges....please keep me in mind. ;)
My house was built in 41. I found some old newspapers under the cabinet paper somebody must have laid down for the heck of it. But anyway your 41 would look good in my driveway. Maybe a little primer would do her good.
Wow! Seriously nice for a car that's been outdoors for 50+ years. Definitely don't paint it -- just fix up the interior and get it running. It'll be fantastic.
Thanks for checking it out! I thought it was a good buy, too... I only looked at it for about 10 seconds before counting out the money on the hood, haha.

I love it when Scott finds cars that are intact, like this one.
Very nice, hope to see this running and driving soon! It'll make a good series/episodes!
Love the art deco grille and headlights. Our society really had style and class in those days.
A great name Road King Beautiful art deco style
That's in amazing condition, nice save
Wow, that car looks great!
That's truly gorgeous, and it really is in amazing shape. I'm supremely jealous.
Never been a mopar fan but thats a clean nice looking car. Definitely dont paint it, it earned that finish. Plus I always feel bad for painting over an original paint job. Really want to see this one running
Awsome find. I have a 1940 dodge. Cant wait for you to get started on this project. Thanks for sharing.
My great grandparents bought a 41 Plymouth 2 door and we had it in the family up until 1987. Many memories in that car and this one brought them back.
Looks really solid, great find! I'm looking forward to see it moving under its on power.

Beautiful car, you have a great sense in picking out your projects. Love your videos.
Coldwarmotors like always good barn finds nice car.
Hi! Thanks for checking it out... Right now, there are about 30 cars here in various states, from running drivers to parts cars.
Wow! That Plymouth is a beaut. Can't wait until you guys fire it up! Especially nice that it has all the glass intact.
what a Beautiful piece, so many want to bring a vehicle back to life only to have fortune invested, i like the idea you take on, nothing like driving something from way back in the day, like the person that parked it. Thanks for showing us all.

nice oi ford pickup i like the old truck.s
Can't wait to see the video where you get it running.Great find.
Hi! Sorry, I'm not going to sell this one; I looked for a long time for a '41...
Lucky, lucky, lucky, great find and so little rust after outdoors for so long, even has original double pinstripe on the wheels.I remember my dad's 52 Cranbrook had doors that closed just with a firm push of your thumb.
"Since the BEATLES were on Ed Sullivan" remark cracked me up !!
Humphrey Bogart drove one of these in the 1941 movie " High Sierra ".
Way to go. I love both of my coupes, I have owned a total of 3 and they are great cars.
Great car!! Your video channel is now my daily viewing. Pour myself a whiskey, watch an episode. Happy days!
Hello! I love your videos especially when you roam the Junkyards. Can you do some more of those videos?
LOve to watch your video's, I am from Quebec but I spend my winters in Florida and TV shows are bad down here, so I fell in love with your shows and barn finds. Keep it up !
+Robert Bisson Hey, thanks for the note, glad you liked it! Enjoy those nice warm Florida winters... my Grandfather used to winter there too! Cheers from me and Stella!
This is such a sweet car. It is worth a total restore in my book...
Love that car, great example of its day.
Even if it isn't running now, it's out of the weather and loved. Thanks for the video.

Years ago, that was the first car I had ever rebuilt. Still have it and I love taking it out to see the heads turn as drive down the street.

Awesome I noticed you guys have a few AMC models as well as I am a true AMC and Mopar fan.
Solid ride, good luck with it!
Good find, Scott. I wonder what's out there within a couple of miles of home.
Awesome find!
Plymouth builds Great Cars!
Definitely! Perhaps next summer; the snow has arrived and everything is stored away for winter now...

Great old Plymouth good score :-)

that is a fantastic find
That's what I thought! I can't wait to get it going...
That old outboard boat motor is pretty sweet too. That would be perfect on an old boat towed behind the Ford pickup.
Exactly! Thanks for checking it out.
You can preserve the car a little better by spreading linseed oil on the outside, then washing it off so it don't attract dirt.
Its a little bit like wax for rust.
That is Very Cool You have a lot of awsome Cars!!
Nice and solid because the sheet metal was a 1/4 inch thick on those old boats. Lol! Just kiddin', nice find bud.
Indeed! Doesn't hurt to try it on some spare iron, I know ya got lots of it round!
Love that car! If I hadn't already subscribed, I definitely would after seeing that.
Hey, thanks! Glad you liked it. I'll get it running soon...
Yeah, I know... there are a lot of hours to put in on some of these heaps!
Fantastic

Funny how you should mention how your grandfather owned one. If I were your age, mine would too. Cheers!
Alien Face Hugger plug leads are fantastic OEM kit
She's a beauty!

I agree😊

I would like to see this running. This is one of my favorite cars.
Yeah, me too! I will definitely be putting this car on the road in the next couple of years. Cheers!
It would be a good "Will it run", if the engine turns over. Thanks!
I found a complete 64 Ford Squire wagon abandoned in the Ca. desert while flying to Bull Head city. I landed my bush plane to check it out. No dents, no vandalism, just left a hundred miles away from any man made object in open desert.
That's the way to find them! Too bad she was a little to heavy to load up, hey? Cheers from us here...
wow! beautiful plymouth, are you selling it? how much for that beauty?
Scott, I would love to be your neighbor!!
Nice really nice. It's crazy how low the engine sits in there. Looks like it would be dragging on the ground. Is it really short??
thanks for that information.
Yet another cool video on a cool old car! What's your price range for these oldies - if I may be so bold to ask? Do you get these 40's and 50's buggies real cheap?
Very cool!
Designed and built before USA's active involvement in the war, and before the factories were converted to support war efforts.
Love the suicides!
absolute beauty ,like the fact you don't paint them
You just need to do a first start in 50 years video! Its been sitting since 1963... :D
we are moving and the 41 will go to the crusher, the seats are gone but the car is complete minus the seats do u want
the snow is gone and the 41 is still here
I couldn't find any more videos on this car. Is she still sitting in the shed or did you get it on the road?

Tim Mitzlaff to keep the patina, it would be smart to just spray clear coat on the exterior, to keep it from degrading further....
Ive found alot out in western maryland west virginia and pensylvania in that condition...what state are you finding these cars in??
Worth restoring
I had a Scott Atwater 22 and it was rated at 35
😍
Is the cute puppy an American Standard Poodle? They are great dogs, smart, and articulate. They act almost human. Love those pups.
+Steven King Yes, Stella is a Standard Poodle. She is just the best; almost human for sure. Such a hilarious and clever (and bossy) girl!
Wow! Seriously nice for a car that's been outdoors for 50+ years. Definitely don't paint it -- just fix up the interior and get it running. It'll be fantastic.
That's the plan exactly! Cheers.
