I absolutely loathe this set. Having the biggest IP crossover in Magic's history boil down to a bunch of underpowered legends that don't really stand out was a big letdown. Bowmasters and the Ring were blatantly unfair format wreckers that led to the shutdown of modern at my LGS. They are even frowned upon in some commander circles. Sure, there are some other standouts like Halfling, Lotho, Sauron, Gandalf the White, and the land cyclers, but that isn't nearly enough to save the set for me.
