I'm all for seeing/discussing where your life has led you. I feel like a lot of people around our age really have gone through a similar stage of life where we are looking within. Figuring out what we believe and what truly makes us happy. I know for me I've learned how important nature is to me and living in tune with the seasons. Accepting that I am very intuitive and sometimes just know things. Slowing down and really trying to live more simply. Also so happy you are back I was just thinking yesterday how I was hoping you would be back making youtube videos soon. They are always so calming to me.
Dear Niomi, this is just a suggestion. Bali is an incredibly poor place. The people need support in education and ressources. Have you ever considered starting a charity over there? I think with the amount of time and financial means you and your partner have you could really make a difference and at the same time feel more fulfilled. Maybe for a start visit one of the many volunteer programmes and check how you could use your platform and power to help improve the life of the locals.

The Balinese culture is incredible special, and the Balinese people are the kindest I have experienced. I adore the Hindu principles and morals (such as karma), and learning about this has changed my mindset and perspective. Aside from that - the weather, the beauty all around, the colour and vibrancy, the 'feeling' is all exceptional. Bali truly is a magical island, and I feel so grateful to experience it.

Intuition and gut feeling is just our unconsciousness trying to tell us something. Our brains pick up on so many little details that don't register with our conscious mind but is still there in the back of our brains. We experience this most clearly in situations that we perceive as dangerous, it's the hair standing up at the back of our necks, the urge to leave a location, to get a away from someone, when we feel incredibly uncomfortable but don't know why. It's our brains picking up on some small detail that is wrong, a red flag we don't fully see. I think women are more tuned into intuition because we are never truly safe. We need to listen to those little signals and gut feelings to survive, while men can easily ignore them and be fine. There are many, many examples from true crime where a woman listened to her intuition and removed herself from a situation that seemed normal and safe, just to find out later that she was far from safe and that the person she was with had plans to hurt her.
That's so interesting how you said about the link between our nervous systems and the gut. I've recently been going through gut issues and had multiple tests performed, which all came back satisfactory. I'm pretty certain mine is also nervous system related. I've found daily meditation and taking ashwagandha, has really turned my life around. So glad you're back, Niomi. :)

Ive been living in that space and i know its the only path for me. I also know im a minority and that can be lonely. Was thinking that so much of our intuition has been shut out only because of the way the world is so heavily guided now by technology. I think a good question to ask yourself is, how can you blend the current use of technology and incorporate that into the passions that you’re into right now. I think so. So much of it is shut off because we are living in a world where we have to take care of our families work, long day jobs, and serve others. How can we use technology and intuition to serve us at all times. I’m not sure if this is one of your passion projects Niomi but it would be so great if you could create an actual place where you would blend in your skincare line with a place where women can go to to take classes or workshops or retreats with your background and food and nutrition and skin..this would be an incredible idea.
I had to pause to write this comment when you were chatting about intuition. I want to be an earthly person telling you that you are at the tip dear one, the tip of finding some completely new things, a new way of life. I imagine you are not sharing the depth that you have come to know with us, there is still fear, the grip of the modern paradigm is strong. But know that there are people who are walking this path and it is a beautiful one. You will find yourself in a crowd of one or a few at times, but know that you have the possibility to never say "you are probably thinking I'm crazy". Because the truth is ringing in so loudly.
