I love the emotional potency of this episode! You captured it all very well in this trailer! Jamie's speech scene is awe-inspiring, too. The fact that she delivers this soul-touching speech about the beauty of life, but ALEX is unaffected by it is just gripping!
Impressive work. Practically flawless. Your work has made this simple television episode very motion picture worthy. I am very impressed with your editing and production work. Amazing job.
Wow! I am (was) The little pigtailed girl running through the park. It is so bizarre to see myself again. I've haven't seen this since it first aired way back when. I remember being on the set and not getting where I was supposed to "sit" right. They had to re-shoot the scene like three times because of me. I remember the director getting really upset. I was horrified! Still, super cool to see it and show it to my kids. My daughter is about the age that I was then (9). :)
This is a great episode full of action BUT it has an excellent moral that I wish ALL people could see and learn from today! The world in my opinion has become much worse regarding violence since that episode was made in the middle 1970s. I wish that someone could do today what Dr. Cooper did in this episode (try and blackmail the world into peace) and would remember the final words that were said by Jaime's partner at 5:14 into the video after Jaime said what a good thing Dr. Cooper did "but will they remember it tomorrow?" They have NOT in my opinion and they need to! Mitch Dworkin Dallas, Texas
OMG, OMG! DUDE! I have no idea what you do for a living, but if it is not editing trailers for movies, you are definitely in the WRONG field!! Your editing was flawless! As a fan, of course, I remember these episodes. And watching your trailer brought back all the excitement that I felt when I viewed it for the first time and then some! Absolutely amazing!! Thanks so much for that wonderful trip down memory lane. BTW, I just ordered Season 1 of The Bionic Woman!!
Holy crap... That actually brought tears to my eyes at about 4:42 to 4:45. Bravo. Man, I don't think there are any shows on TV that will be looked back on so fondly 30 years later.
Wonderful. That's all I can say is wonderful. Perfect editing. Perfect use of music. I would try to make it shorter so it's more of a standard trailer length. But it is wonderful
This was EXCELLENT! WHY didn't the "new" Bionic Woman series just remake EVERY original episode. THIS is what made the Bionic Woman such an awesome TV show! I'm dying to have the DVD series and keep hoping that Universal will wise up and release it. I don't want to buy the overseas set because I'll have to buy a region free dvd player. Anyway, THANK YOU for creating this. Incredible work!
This episode, and Kill Oscar, and Fembots In Las Vegas were my favorites! Alex and the Fembots---- sounds like a cheesy rock band from the 70s. With Jaimie as the lead singer. 👍😁
This was always my favorite episode though years later I would realize the concept for Alex was probably ripped off from HAL. If anyone has the entire episode, please post it. I'd love to watch it again.
Congratulations for this super pro trailer you made!!! Absolutely no doubt this was Bionic best episode, toghether with the ones with the Fembots, tough for different reasons. You should try a trailer about them too. The "vintage" spirit they have now contrast with the universality of the message. I still remember Alex 7000 spanish version voice which I used to hear (Argentina), quite more impressive and scary than the one in English. Besides, in my country we saw this series in B&W!!
Being a die-hard bionic fan, I would be lying if I didn't admit I would go see this as a movie based on the trailer alone. Pretty much shows the power of talent/technology at the risk of taking a past successful and dramatic primetime series (way ahead of its time) and putting it in the present, even if it's just a teaser. Kudos for your work...
@voyager202000 I agree, this is an ABSOLUT KICK ASS work of Art!!! I watched this episode when it first aired and I feel like watching it again right now.
I remember this episode jaimie sommers takes on tactics operated by an industrial Computer,.Lol,I think somone watches too many previews @ the theatre!
Three episodes of The Bionic Woman; “Kill Oscar”, “Deadly Ringer”, and this one are arguably the best written, and best episodes of the series! This episode alone should have given Lindsay Wagner a Emmy nomination if not a Emmy win, because it was so well done! She had it all in this episode and “Deadly Ringer”, because you FELT Jaime’s soul in both of them! Would love the three episodes mentioned uncut, because they were movie quality and way better than stuff coming out of Hollywood now!
Doomsday is Tomorrow is one of the best written and acted tv episodes of all time, thought provoking and anxiously exciting as our mortality is made to weigh upon us. There's much to be appreciated of this two part series that it has never left me and I must revisit this full rounded masterpiece from time to time, it's enthralling!
@TRguy64 , Jaime said a line that hit home, that the doctor who invented Alex that he took every world leader right to the brink of their own funeral. The response Jaime's cohort said was just as hard hitting, but would they remember tomorrow?! Very thought provoking and how would we all feel if we were bought right to the edge of extinction!
This episode was a very classy piece of television and along with Deadly Ringer repesents two of the best Bionic Woman stories. The line "but will they remember it tomorrow?" is excellent. They were actually screened back to back on British TV, whether they were filmed in that order, I don't know. This is a brilliant trailer, by the way, what a talent.
@Guerin - After a conversation I had with someone about strong, female leads in movies and television, I was inspired to re-watch this particular episode today! Even though the tech is a bit outdated, the story, and acting were superb and chillingly relevant today. This episode would not be the same without your brilliant vocal talents. "May the best... one... win.", I couldn't imagine anyone else delivering this line as effectively as you did! Thank you sir for helping my childhood be so awesome!
Lindsay Wagner should have won an Emmy Award for this ground breaking Episode. I watched this Episode on Television when I was 10 years old. It is still as powerful today. It stands up. Brilliant ! ❤️
This was a real ground breaking work of art. I like how they referred to the Sino Soviet War of 1969 & brought up the emerging issue of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Like trying to remake the Manchurian Candidate, remaking this for the big screen would be an impossibly tall order in the Hollywood of today. For one thing, the stunts in this episode were live action, the only graphic stuff was maybe the beams from the directed energy weapons 'level 16 fortifications'. What a masterpiece, starring the fine journeymen actors and actresses of the 1970s. Long life to the cast of this episode! :-)
This trailer of the episode ''Doomsday Is Tomorrow'' created by a fan of The Bionic Woman TV series, is a superbly done, beautifully edited piece. The only flaw in it is that in the trailer, the scene between Dr. Elijah Cooper and Jaime Sommers is shown after the scene in which Jaime Sommers is trying to convince the Alex 7000 computer about the beauty and preciousness of life is shown, whereas in the episode the scene between Jaime Sommers and the Alex 7000 computer occurs much later in that episode after the scene between Cooper and Jaime Sommers.
I love this Trailer - It might be an interesting actual movie - it would be hard to replace Jaimie almost as hard as replacing Wonder Woman... this episode was probably my fave along with the one when that girl was her double from prison. Thank you for making this - I really enjoy watching it.
Oh and I always felt that these two episodes as well as Lindsay Wagner should have won that Emmy for. Lindsay Wagner is one hell of an actress and many young tv series INCLUDING many young movie stars need to learn from her
I had the flu as a child when I watched this for the first time. I was delirious with fever through most of it, falling in and out of sleep, with my imagination filling in the blanks. It was surreal and haunting what my mind conjured that my eyes missed. I saw it in reruns years later and got the full story. Parts I & II are definitely my favorite episodes. This trailer is a beautiful tribute to a great artifact of the 70's.
Beautifully done ! You took two episodic television events and created a rekindle of powerful memory for this kid watching and being frightened by the then Soviet threat of nuclear war. Most excellent, I encourage you to give us more to see . ..
Fantastic job on this one - so very well done. It's being favorited. You have a great editing talent - please give us more and share more of your talent with us!
WOW!!! Almost 24,000 hits after being online for just over one year. Not bad for a show that is over 30 years old!!!! Universal Studios is mad not to settle up with Martin Caidin, the author of Cyborg!!! I want my platinum DVD collection with commentary from Wagner and Easter Eggs!!! Ah, it is a shame to keep such loyal fans waiting!!!
I am always astounded at the sheer talent some people have. That was INCREDIBLE! I have this show on DVD, and I know this episode (a 2-parter) very well! I thought you did an EXCELLENT job! I believed I was truly seeing a BW movie trailer. Adding this to My Favourites for sure!!!
I remember watching this doomsday episode when it was first on ABC in the 1970s. As I recall, it was a 2 part episode. i was an avid viewer every Wednesday night at 8pm in the 1970s. Lindsay Wagner was impeccable as Jaime Sommers. Her character was very believable since she let you know that she was imperfect (i.e. her fear of snakes). Why isn't this great show available on DVD?!?!
I would like to thank you for putting this on. It is brilliant with how you took a show from the 70's and turned it into something fresh and exciting. I would have loved to have seen and heard the scene where Alex could not understand how Jaime was running faster than a normal human could. Thanks again and all the best.
I remember being terrified watching this episode as a little kid, and this fan trailer gave me goosebumps. Doomsday is Tomorrow is probably the best of the entire series.
I have amazment, wonderment and love yet I find the Bionic woman hokey Take any B.W. episode and compare it to episode #1 of the 6 Million dollar man (Population zero)-there is a world of difference! Ms Sommers never had an evil SOB that came right out and threatened with "you'll be reduced to a 6 million dollar pile of junk"... of course by the end of that episode Steve exacted revenge(he blew up their vehicle, burning them all to death), plus Lee Majors never wore a bra in any of the episodes
In answer to your question bionicfans, yes based on what I am seeing here I would go see this in the movie theater. I am honestly not impressed with a lot of stuff that comes out in theaters anymore based on previews. And just because something was done in the 70s doesn't mean it was not good just like anything that comes out now doesn't mean it IS good. Can we say reality TV? Peace
This was / is undoubtedly the best writing for an episode of The Bionic Woman series. It also was a very good Public Service Announcement about curbing the making of nuclear weapons, the countries that have nukes can blow the earth up 500 times and still have nukes left. It's sad and I PRAY that NEVER happens in anyones lifetime from here until many, many years after I pass on..........
30 year old footage, could have fooled me looked like it was done yesterday! That ruled! The way that was edited looked better than the crap they try to so hard to sell today. I remember the original story and it was one of the BEST episodes, EVER, of the Bionic Woman. Only "Kill, Oscar" was as well written.
You should give a class to the so called "experts" in Hollywood on how to make a quality trailer! Your editing is nothing short of awesome! If you don't work in the business you should, your work is A++!!!!!! Again outstanding job to a great old favorite of mine!
Season two of The Bionic Woman will be released on DVD May 17th. These fantastic episodes will be included. I can't wait to rewatch these old classics! Jaime VS ALEX!! May the best...one...win.
The Fembots next! Yes, yes! Make a trailer featuring the Fembots episode: "KILL OSCAR" Tag line to read, "They came out of nowhere, and they won't stop at nothing! Jaime won't know what hit her..."
Way Ahead of its time ,As a Kid In the 1970s I remember watching this episode. Better than Plots made today
Incredible work, my friend! This was indeed the best Bionic Woman episode ever made and I have thought so since I originally saw it in the 70's!
Wow! I am (was) The little pigtailed girl running through the park. It is so bizarre to see myself again. I've haven't seen this since it first aired way back when. Diane Jones that’s cool
i wish they would bring it back i would definitely be glued to my screen tv

we miss U Bionic Woman
Thanks, Guerin! You gave voice to one of Bionic fandom's favorite adversaries! Look forward to talking with you soon! - Paul
@ captainsmith1. As you indicate by your question, no other actress could ever play the role of Jaime Sommers as phenomenally well as Lindsay Wagner.
OMG, OMG! DUDE! I have no idea what you do for a living, but if it is not editing trailers for movies, you are definitely in the WRONG field!! Your editing was flawless! This was a very nicely done trailer, I have not seen these episodes and now I want to see them!
Kudos!!!! I am such a fan of the Bionics team .... this was spectacular!!!!
Wonderful. That's all I can say is wonderful. Perfect editing. Perfect use of music. I would try to make it shorter so it's more of a standard trailer length. But it is wonderful

That was amazing-thanks for sharing a great and very timely video of a memorable episode!
I would'nt take a bubble bath after this episode. Classic stuff.
AWESOME how you did this, Two Major Thumbs Up!

4:08, 4:09, Jaime is dismantling the Alex 7000, just like Dave dismantled the HAL 9000
in 2001, A Space Odyssey.
Wow! Amazing trailer! Good work.
That was priceless.GREAT JOB!
Wooooooooooooooow ... unbelievable ... great work !!
This is very nicely done.

excellant!!love it every long bit of it!!
Fabulous!!!!!!!!!
captainsmith1, at one point Jennifer Aniston was strongly considered to play the role of Jamie Sommers on the big screen.
She's brave 👑👑
I remember this episode jaimie sommers takes on tactics operated by an industrial Computer,.Lol,I think somone watches too many previews @ the theatre!
Is this available on any streaming service?
This ep. is on da il y moti on…
I'd put the HAL 5000 up against the ALEX 7000 any day.
Way too long but cool
WOW! That women was hot! But I guess she's not anymore!
angel2901 I had a Bigger Crush on Jaclyn Smith of Charlies Angel and Linda Carter Wonder woman

Fantastic!
The best episode of 'The Bionic Woman' ever.
Omg this should have gotten her a first Emmy. This episode was epic.
@Chris J.P. Black That is a dumb azz question, evidently you are not a fan. So why the fuk are you here?Get lost!
I dont know what that has to do with Doomsday is Tomorrow?
Totally agree

What a GREAT idea;too bad it was fictional.
WOW! It's been so long since I've seen the show. Very impressive edit. Brought back so many memories of doing the show. Thanks.

I still love this show to death. That horrible remake can't hold a candle to it.

This is Awesome!!!!!!!!!! This episode scared the hell out of me when I was a kid.
It's like a modern-day trailer, it spoils the entire story. 😉
You've done an excellent job! This was ALWAYS my favorite episode! I'm so glad the show is being formally released on DVD!
This is freaking genius!! Excellent, bionicfans!
That was an awesome trailer!! One of my favorite episodes!! Thank you!
THAT gave me goosebumps!!
Close the bomb shelter door Hal.
Classic series
If you could re-do this with the higher-quality footage from the new DVD releases it would be amazing! But it's a lot of work...
I remember being terrified watching this episode as a little kid, and this fan trailer gave me goosebumps. Doomsday is Tomorrow is probably the best of the entire series.
Wow that was epic!! We need to get the youtubers who put trailers like this together in Hollywood as the Execs in Hollywood today are just crappy
Wow, a creepy computer (with an eye no less) bent on control. What an original idea. Nope, never seen that before.
Or you could download it from the various sites that have the old episodes on them.
I have amazment, wonderment and love yet I find the Bionic woman hokey

The Fembots next! Yes, yes! Make a trailer featuring the Fembots episode: "KILL OSCAR" Tag line to read, "They came out of nowhere, and they won't stop at nothing! Jaime won't know what hit her..."

Incredible!
More than ever I need to own the Bionic Woman on DVD!
Yes, I would go to the cinema after seeing this trailer. Wow, how exciting you could turn a classic tv show into a 2008 blockbuster. Thanks
is there a place on the net where you can watch all the TV shows from the past. All I'm finding is junk and scams. let me know please.
Doomsday Is Tomorrow" Fan Trailer is great great job
Can you do one for Deadly Ringer. I would love to see that!!
This was a great episode. I think this was one in which Lindsay was either nominated for or won an Emmy.
Fantastic trailer...
by the way, not all women can pull off hats.. Jamie looks fierce in them.
I vaguely remember snippets of this episode from when I watched it as a kid
You could, but you'd have to get the overseas DVDs.
I want to see the last episode of Bionic woman!!!!! Do You have it?
The world really needs to see this. Art truly does imitate life...
haha!!! Great one! You did a great job!!!
Muito legal! Clássico Sify!! 🥰
EXCELLENT!!!!!! I loved it. You did a good job
