Well said Hardik coming back was never a problem. Hardik coming back and demanding captaincy was the problem.
He has every right to be ambitious, he is not playing to make someone else a captain. Only people to blame are owners and franchise.
But he could have been decent enough to understand he learnt all the tricks and trade under Rohit. If he was man of integrity he would have said I will play under him and slow transitioned from player to Captain. All of you now defending Hardik if the same was done with Dhoni would be a crying cow

This innings of 68 runs in 38 balls was excellent which was much needed for Rohit to give him his lost confidence before t20 World Cup but neither it proves that he is still a good t20 batsman as it came after 6 complete failures so even the most ordinary batsman will score runs once in a while nor it proves that he had a very good overall season because for an opening batsman, even 440-450 in 14 innings is an average season whereas he scored 417 so he had another poor IPL season but by his standards, he had a wonderful season as since 2017, he has hardly scored runs in IPL.
And what about the Impact how many impactful inings he play even his 100 is not very good ining and i dont think 417 is a very good season as an opener
@@snehalkhatri9357That is just what I said that he had another poor IPL season as apart from 49 he scored vs Delhi, none of his 40+ innings helped Mumbai win any game and also it is a big myth that scoring 400+ runs in a season is a good achievement because even if you score 400 in 14 innings, it means average of 28 something which is not good at all so as opener in 14 innings, at least 480+ runs can be called as a good season, 440-450 as average and anything less than that is poor.

@@snehalkhatri9357 Yes, ideally I also feel that a batsman can be said to have had a proper wonderful season is if he scored at least 550 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of minimum 140(not in 15 or 16 games including playoffs matches), 500 can be said as a good season, 480 as decent, 450 as average and poor anything less.Virat has scored 661with 155 strike rate so he has had an outstanding season.

Regardless of Rohit’s batting performance in IPL in recent years, he is likely to go for in excess of Rs15 cr at the auctions. Teams like RCB, Punjab, KKR, GT and LSG would go for him. Rohit is a good captain, who knows how to manage players and bring the best out players.
