2 3/4 test curve rod on bonds is massively over gunned, surely more fun could be had with a light rod, oh I don't know maybe a quiver 😀. I love carp fishing but it's getting mad with big pit reels and massive test curve rods, 3.5lb rod a are becoming the norm! Scale down and have even more fun!
@@georgemarch6752 I love annoying the tentdwellers by floatfishing for carp all around the lake they are setup in and catching far more than they do 😂 a few cans of sweetcorn and a simple sliding float setup is the best way for catching carp imo.
I'm liking your new look Graeme. Those quiver tips look like a cool attachment. Some nice there too. Carp are pest fish in Australia, but I want to catch them regardless.
I have been watching this channel for ages and then made a RUclips account just to subscribe to this channel.Ps please can we see some more hard lure fishing for pike.
I did an afternoon session on Bonds today. Had 10 carp from the margins of the island. Also found a snapped off quiver tip on the platform. Someone didn't listen to Graemes advice! :D
nice lads one of my favorite Technics the method feeder and quivertip , i noticed your using a drennan inline feeder my personal choice as with the way the fins are molded you can put a 15ml boillie when going for larger carp. not to mention how easy it to change the hook link.
Top tip for pellet bands if you are going to fish them on the hook (although I'd always advise use of a hair): Place the empty band on your palm, lay the hook shank across the middle and then fold the band in half. Pull one half of the band through the other trapping the hook shank in between. Pull it tight and that band will never fall off, easier to rebait as well if you haven't got one of those tools as you can pin the band to the pellet with your thumb nail and then stretch it over using the other
love it guys keep me coming and can you do some vidios on certain rigs and carp fishing please because I'm going into ledgering Sunday so it will help thx guys
I use the Quivertip and with the same rig as Mike was using quite a lot here in Poland its a very good system and l always catch l also use a beach trypod for the rod this works well as well. barrie
I fish quiver tip style evry time i go to cudmore on arena for the carp . Groundbait mix... Dynamite f1 dark & bait tech special g green with a handful of dry 2mm power scopex and banoffee pellets
'please watch the left hand rod in the next frame for the tiniest tiniest quiver tip bite you will ever see in your life' that is crazy! you do make me laugh😂 I was looking for the smallest bite and WOOSH! brilliant bite👌🏼
Ace vid,I use robin red often and they do work.not all the time but a useful bit of arsenal in your kit...carp on the tip=brilliant ! just an idea, but what about a competition where a subscriber wins a day out with TAF ;]
love how the British fish for carp and really care about their health and all that. They go on holidays to France, Hungary, etc. Most fishermen in America think of carp as "garbage fish" but p4p they are one of the strongest fighting fish.
Tench are in Canada and some parts of the Northern US and are considered an invasive species. Some places require them to be killed, illegal to release them
yes. A couple lakes actually are glad to have them because they eat the invasive zebra mussels. But yeah they are considered invasive in Lake Champlain and Lake Ontario. In the late 90s a fish farm had some and they escaped into a river in Quebec due to a flood and now they are in some areas of Quebec and Ontario in Canada and Maine& Vermont in the US.
i have bought a new reel and i am about to load it with line but always struggle to get the right amount on and always appreciate your opinion, just need advice on where to stop in conjunction with spool thanks
Hi! Any ideas what to with a quiver tip rod that's lost the quiver tips. Buying replacements here in the Philipines would be more than a new rod, so I'm looking for a diy replacement solution. One option is to fix a tip eye and dispense with a quiver tip. What do you advise?
I may have some old quivertip rod rings and quivers that screw in. If you p.m. Mike with your address I will look them out for you,I am unlikely to ever use them, but that's if I can find them !
@@TAFishing that's very kind of you but postage to the Philippines is ridiculously expensive, my sister has researched a lot when I left a pair of glasses with her and I was cheaper buying a new pair! I'm thinking if making a short insert and a tip eye so at least I can use the rod "quiverless " that's unless I can figure out a material, that I can source here, that I can use. By the way I'm an avid subscriber to your video and just love then, only problem is they make me homesick for my beloved trout streams of the Lothian of Scotland. Oh well such is life. Thanks again for your generous offer
Carp life in UK: free food, "no pain no gain" exercise fighting against anglers, getting caught and molested for a bit, then released in mint condition. US "trash" fish dont have this luxury lmao.
In the video I am using a Method Feeder, therefore a quiver tip gives better bite detection. The fish don't care whether you use a broom pole or a TV aerial, if it lands fish on the bank then it's a success to me. Thanks, Mike

alanrtment porter carp fishing with bite alarms is not fishing.

In bonds, if you can get to the edge of the island, it is killer for catching common
I fish quiver tip style evry time i go to cudmore on arena for the carp . Groundbait mix... Dynamite f1 dark & bait tech special g green with a handful of dry 2mm power scopex and banoffee pellets
Could you try to do more river pike fishing thanks

Nice Mike next time if u on a lake with a small average size carp try your lrf rod that's fun
AWESOME JOB GUYS TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEO!

Carp are damn good fighters, even small ones. Tench are good too, I don't know if you get them in America though
Tench are in Canada and some parts of the Northern US and are considered an invasive species. Some places require them to be killed, illegal to release them
they call them doctor fish
Do you get golden tench? They look so nice
yes. A couple lakes actually are glad to have them because they eat the invasive zebra mussels. But yeah they are considered invasive in Lake Champlain and Lake Ontario. I just love big fish me, caught a 5kg Carp once so bloody happy that day. How loves fish'in?
Fishing with a Swing Tip Rod is the best METHOD.
Please try it and make a Video.
Thanks
Fishing man from Germany
Thank you so much guys.
I wouldn't have give him 14 for that carp maybe a scrape of 10
HI have you fished at newlands fishery??
Does Andy know that when he was weighing his fish it was in his cradle which probs ways about 4 to 5lb so his fish probably way less?
I bet Darren has never seen any moist kippers before.

Awesome Video
Awesome ARMY!

where did you get the VB hooks I can't find any any where
would a dropshot rod work for small carp (2-5lbs) in a small stillwater?
Considering your were at bury, did you get any pike fishing done down there
+Daniel Jones No,it opens on 1st October for predators I think. But contact them and check.
What type of pellet am you using for the hook bait?
i have bought a new reel and i am about to load it with line but always struggle to get the right amount on and always appreciate your opinion, just need advice on where to stop in conjunction with spool thanks
+Shabba Ranks Just a couple of mm inside the lip of the spool. Best not to overfill it or you get tangled casts
What lb line where you guys using

interesting ya using feeders. Someone tried to tell me feeders aren't used for carp... lol w/e
Method feeder is deadly for Carp.
What's the feeder mix ?
Anti septic spray on the carp 😂 what s victim
what weight feeder is best to use?
I use one a 25gram one
cheers because I always float fish and iv just joined a new lake where everyone legers so im trying to get a idea on it. thanks
That's not 14 1/2 lbs no way
That bailiff is well over gunned for small fish
Peter Seager embarrassing ain’t itv
It*
Jack Thomson shut up your spelling is embarrassing.

Its rod tip ffs Gra lol
Boatrod , 30lb line , multipier and treble hooks...crank em in
why on earth would you use a quiver tip rod for carp, unless it's a carp feeder rod??

hahah epic comment, iv used a £10 super soft pellet waggler rod for method feeder fishing worked a treat
Been looking forward to a new episode all week!
