Love this guy already. Cubs building a team of character individuals. Reminds me a bit of Dansby’s introductory presser. Excited to see what this guy can do. I think his presence will help Seiya’s comfort level and vice versa. Always easier when you don’t feel like you’re alone in your orientation to your environment. Well done, Jed. Keep going! It's interesting that Shota calls Seiya "suzuki sensei" as it's a sign of respect for your elders or superiors in Japan. Even though Imanaga is abouta year or so older. I think it's because he views Seiya as more experienced being an American MLB player and views him as someone to learn from.
Busch doesn't project as a 3B really but neither does Morel. I had hoped to see Bellinger there but I'm starting to think Cubs have moved on from Belli. 😢💯🤷🏻 Busch/Mervis could end up an insane split tho.

"Senshu"means "player" and we Japanese use senshu after the name a lot.
