Tried Mediterranean diet. I don't care for fish. So now I am following Dr McDougall's Starch whole foods diet and feeling better already. I've been a nurse for 40 years, retired now. The medical field is lacking in knowledge about how best to nourish our bodies and fight disease. Dr McDougall's way is with healthy unprocessed foods. Good luck with the new way of eating. Any change to more wholesome natural food is good!
I am so along for the ride! I have psoriasis and have been attempting to eat more like the Mediterranean diet. It’s so tough to keep up with healthy eating while having ADHD and an 8 month old baby to take care of. So I could use all your tips and motivation!
glad to see u jam jam the grocery haul u always find budget friendly items thanks for the great content hello to you and all the family In God we trust God blesses us all!!!!
Mix some cottage cheese and a splash of milk into the egg muffins! They stay super moist and fluffy :) I have more or less been following the Med. Diet for many years, and was diagnosed Celiac in 2010 so also gluten free. It is incredibly helpful and satiating but takes time to adjust to lower sugar amount. Especially with all the added sugars! I've never been able to get into seafood though, so lots of chicken and eggs it is!
I haven't quite gotten to the lowered sugar part yet! Right now I'm just adding all the things- extra fruits and vegetables, lots more Omega 3s, and more whole grains. It'll be an adjustment!
Watch wheat products, wheat is a big problem with skin issues, also milk products. I have super sensitive skin and these were my Dr recommendations. Dx. As Eczema. Mediterranean diet highly recommended for all sorts of issues, very healthy, look at the Mediterranean diet food pyramid for more advice. Blessings and yes Mediterranean helps.
My son had a chronic skin condition. No meds worked. I got an aloe plant and put fresh aloe gel on it. It never came back. I would look at any change in anything different you may have come in contact with, not just foods. I wish you the best.
Great haul Jaime!😍 The Mediterranean diet is one of the best overall diets I've ever heard about! The benefits are higher than any other diet out there! There are so many advantages to this way of eating. I had another week with a cold so I haven't been checking emails lately. My sister has problems with psoriasis and has been seeing a dermatologist for a couple of years. She takes injections once a month and she has gotten creams and ointments for topical use too. I'll find your email and get more information for you. A good dermatologist is also a benefit, there are too many who only want to treat certain things and don't always want to be available for everything they could be treating. In other words, it's not always easy to find the right dermatologist. But I'll share her journey and see if we can provide some guidance for you. I did get a stock of smoothie ingredients but my cold flared up again so I didn't add some of the ingredients to my diet. It's finally better now so we'll see what the new week brings. I was at Dollar Tree yesterday and saw 3 different pouches of the plant based meals. They still have some nice $1.25 options! Just hang in there, there are some great options out there!😘 Thanks for sharing another great video!🥰
My eczema has been flaring for a couple months and nothing seemed to help. I still have a set but it's much better. My face flares often but I also have rosacea. Good luck it's rough.

I've heard that aloe is good for skin conditions! I'm also looking at environmental factors. There's so much to look at!
@@NoGettingOffThisTrain yes, unfortunately. Get an aloe leaf or plant and try it. I couldn't believe how well it worked.
Great haul Jaime!😍
