This theory makes totally sense. Stratosphere appeared quite aged and crumbling like Jetfire, who was still capable to fight enough to kill Mixmaster and even Scorponok. Then that means that despite his age and crumbling condition (which was probably fixed by the Energon pulse wave), Stratosphere was still capable to give his comrades support from above. 👍🏻

My theory: they saw what scourge did to air razor, corrupt her. Both autobots and Maximals have no idea how long the corruption took place, only Elena. They also wouldn’t want stratosphere being corrupted as for a big boy, he’s an easy target and scourge can easily shoot him with his corruption disk. Optimus would have instructed stratosphere to stay and protect the human tribe if the terrorcon freezers were to over run both autobots and Maximals, stratosphere will be able to evacuate them away if they ever fail. that’s why u see stratosphere at the village while the rest were fighting. (Though this theory could be wrong cause if, they fail, the planet is doomed anyways and there’s no point of even flying the humans away to a safer location: I ain’t no story director)
Agree and plus it would make stratosphere a big target and how he looks he doesn’t seem to look like the fighting type

I feel since he’s a cargo plane the answer could be assumed to be no, definitely gave me an old man’s vibes who was too old to fight but wanted to help the war efforts so he offered his services as transport

Well, actually... Being a combination of different planes (as per the Autobot bio), and being an aerial commander, I think he's got a whole lot more guns 'n' ammo than anyone else. Probably equipped with about 6 machine guns, dozens of heat seekers, etc. Throw in a nuke bay as well, he'll be a flying tank.
That is actually a really good theory and here's my theory of how Stratosphere accomplishes that. He obviously didn't just fly into them as he'll be going down with them, he could either be in robot mode and have a flying ability in robot form but the best theory is he doesn't have any weaponry in vehicle as he's a cargo plane not designed for fighting so he must have a stealth force mode like he did in the dark of the moon tie in game.
That would make sense but Stratosphere's vehicle mide doesn't have any weapons in it but let's add something to make the theory right, i think everyone knows about the stealth mode on Dotm of bumblebee in his vehicle form transforming with equiped arsenal to fight the dreads on the highway, I'm sure Stratosphere used to ability to spawn camp the the eggs if i will say.
Did you notice that after the energon had spread all around the land bee had gotten an upgrade to an offroad camaro and the addition of one more blaster as far as i remember he had only one before his revival so the energon could possibly upgrade stratosphere and give him guns(it had also fixed stratosphere)
@@jasongomes3341 that would make sense for Stratosphere's upgrade since the energon just spread to the village that kept the maximals identity from the public eyes for centuries and the energon surge not only fixed him but upgraded him!

Best answer is that’s he way too valuable of an Autobot. He’s the only one who can transport the team & him joining the battle would make him such an easy target.

Actually, it’s because Stratosphere doesn’t do much fighting on the ground. He prefers to spend most of his time in the air and he can handle himself very well in dogfights. He’s good with whatever guns or missiles he has stored inside him, but not with his fists.

It would bei correct If Stratosphere wasnt a Transport plane. They havent shown any type of weaponry in him and the others while in vehiclemode. So either He can stay in the Air and Hover/fly Like other seekers example would be the seekers Squad in war/Fall of cybertron. I would rather say that they deployed all the droppods . That would also explain why unicron send the scorponoc dropship too because the bigger threat to theory Goal were the autobot/maximals in the ground.
