The Epson ColorWorks C3500 is one of our most rugged and versatile printers, in a remarkably compact form factor. In this video, Pete displays the print speed capabilities of the C3500 on 'Quality' print mode (~2in/sec). This printer is also capable of up to 4in/sec in speed mode, but we love to show off the vibrant color printing abilities.

What's up guys, this is Pete. I'm here in the infinitylabelgroup print lab and today I'm going to be doing a quick demonstration on the print speed of the Epson c3500 inkjet label printer...
For demonstration purposes, I'm going to be using our DPR label unwinder so that you guys can really get an idea of what's going into the printer and whats coming out the other side.
Alright guys, here we have our labels created in bartender. I have each one made up and ready to go, and here we have our form. So all you're going to do in bartender is hit control-print. You're going to select your printer and here you can change your properties. I have everything set up already so we're just going to hit print. Next, our form is going to load. Once our form is up were going to select the material and as you can see there is a live preview of the label right here and we can select which ones we want to be included in this print job- I want all of them to be included. I'm going to set this to 10 copies (which it already is) and just hit print. The job gets sent to the printer (you can ignore this message) and there we have it...
Thanks for watching our video on the Epson c3500, i hope you learned something. I'e got my roll of labels and I'm ready to start labeling. if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us at infinitylabelgroup.com or ipsiscan.com (that's I-P-S-I scan.com). See you next time.

I own a small label business and have no affiliations with any company. Although, you should take a look at the Afinia 801. The printing speed will blow you away!
Jim- thanks for the note. Yes, the Afinia L801 is a great printer which we also sell and recommend to customers where applicable! Most of our customers who use it enjoy super vibrant inks printed at about 6 inches per second (6 ips) which is about 2-3 times faster than the Epson C3500. The Epson C7500G is also an option for customers looking for 600dpi print resolution at high print speeds. The Epson C7500G has two print settings- 6 inches per second and 12 inches per second. Bottom line, there are a lot of choices out there for On Demand Color Printing and anyone looking to purchase one should perform due diligence and when you select the correct printer for your business, printing labels is fun and can really enhance your brand presentation. Lastly, i also have a small business so please reach out to me to order ink and supplies for your Afinia L801-we'd appreciate the opportunity to add you as a customer. You can contact me at info@ipsiscan.com or rschilling@ipsiscan.com. Thanks!
Ty for the demonstration.
Seems to print slower than our Afinia. What is the print speed
Russell- Thanks for your inquiry. The Epson C3500 prints between 2" to 4" per second. Check out the additional video we made on print speed ruclips.net/video/IZHrENr2xZk/видео.html . I'm not sure which Afinia printer you have but if it is the L801, you are probably printed at about 6" per second. You should probably look at the Epson C6000A or C6500A for higher print quality, although the speeds are still 3- 4" per second. For higher print speeds 12" per second you can look at the Epson C7500G. Email us at info@ipsiscan.com if you want to connect directly and evaluate alternatives.
I am looking at tm 3400 or 3500 in 2024 for purchase
It's work on mirror coated sticker paper roll?
Can you print on 4x6 direct thermal labels?
Does she print in transparent paper?
that's perfect for what we need is there anyways to automate it where i can scan a barcode and it searched for a label and auto prints it
craig- this can be done with additional software/integration- we are experts at deploying label printing workflows with two programs- BarTender Label Software and NiceLabel Software. Please email me at rschilling@ipsiscan.com and we can schedule a call to discuss your current situation. Thanks!
Buenos dias, donde consigo el portarrollos?
Do you think that is possible to print on photo paper rolls and cut them for a photobooth?
The printer requires inkjet coated paper which comes in High Gloss Paper. It is not the same as photo paper, but it is high quality color printing. You can cut to length with the guillotine cutter but it does not cut shapes.
Hey,
have you tried to use it in a photobooth? I have the same idea and I think it could be nice
What is printing cost on 4x6 inch size label?
Hiren- thanks for your message. It completely depends on what you are printing. It could be anywhere from .01 (1 cent) to .07(7 cents). you can send me some artwork to info@ipsiscan.com and i can send you an estimate based on your actual files.
Hi! Approximately how many prints do you get from a cartridge of ink? Thx!
Susan- Thanks for your comment. The "ink yield" per cartridge completely depends on the artwork you are printing since it dictates ink coverage and size. You can email me a .pdf (with reference to label size) at info@ipsiscan.com and i can do an ink cost/yield calculation for your specific circumstance. I'll look forward to hearing from you!
@@rickschilling2562 hi there, thanks for the reply. I don't really have anything to send you, all my labels are different, using different colorways. I will say, though, that there isn't more then 50 percent color coverage on the average label. I'm just looking for an estimate. Thanks.
@@rickschilling2562 Thoughtful and caring response.
@@susanwildwindnaturals9548 It could be anywhere from .01 (1 cent) to .07(7 cents) in ink per print. Completely depends on coverage. If you are at 50% coverage, i would estimate 2-4 cents in ink.
is possible continue barcode print
Yes, you can print barcodes using this Epson ColorWorks printer
ma stampa anche le covers dei cd
does it print on circles?
Yes, but you'll need a black mark printed properly on the back of the liner to print correctly. Works great.
What type of sticker used for this?
Jo- for this video we used Ink Jet Gloss Polypropylene material. Die-cut 4 x 6 labels.
Wowwww
estoy interesado en Peru

Can I use thermal transfer label?
No, you need to use Inkjet Coated material to accept the ink. If you use thermal transfer paper, the ink will come right off.
