Most forts in the West were open, no stockade; a square with Officers' Row on one side and the enlisted barracks on the other. PS Most troopers wore light colored hats because dark stood out on the arid prairie and they would give the Indians a good target.. Check out Frederic Remington's work. Love the burr.
Good info on the carbine sling. You could add that on the saddle equipment was a leather “bucket” that would allow the carbine muzzle to fit into. It would avoid the carbine from banging against the riders leg when traveling.
we always appreciates that your company tries a lot of efforts to model Hong Kong's nostalgic customs, it is gorgeous and vividness. A suggestion is a series of Cantonese Opera actors, the costumes are colourful and have a strong ethnic characteristics. But it may be a difficult in datasets especially in a western academic world.
Thanks for your kind support. We made 'The Opera Performers' [HK288] for the Old Hong Kong series before. Hope you like it! www.kingandcountry.com/1/WsProductDetail.php?product_id=16201
Those are very nice representation of the 7th Cavalry soldiers. I love the movie versions of these soldiers. I agree that the yellow scarfs and white suspenders do look pretty good with the Navy blue and light blue pants with the yellow stripes and even the red under shirt I've seen in movies. I've seen also actual black and white pictures of historical Cavalry soldiers and the do look different in those days of the wild west. I like the litt set up very much. I've tried to find the Airfix 7th Cavalry but so far I'm not having much luck here in Australia. I've seen many on eBay all overseas but the prices are to high and once Trump imposes tariffs I can forget those toy soldiers. But those figures I'm seeing are very nice. Thanks for the show. From Australia all the best and merry Christmas.🙂👍🇭🇲🦘✌️👋
Please, why not reproduce in new versions the references, the figurines, of The Real West, including the John Ford Cavalry, which are sold out and thus allow us to complete our collections?
@@KINGANDCOUNTRYHK A few years ago, you already produced some new figurines of the 7th Cavalry soldiers references in Little Big Horn that were out of stock, and left the diorama incomplete: we thought you were going to continue with the remaining out of stock references, but no more came out. Specifically, they can be : TRW07, TRW075 TRW076, TRW065, TRW050
@KINGANDCOUNTRYHK If it's not an issue with who owns the movies? It would be nice to see the actors in those movies made into figurines. For the John Ford Calvary. A Bruce Lee collection for Hong Kong would be outstanding, too. From Enter the Dragon. Merry Christmas K&C!
Hello Mr Neilson I’m a fan and collector of your items especially the WW2 stuff is there any chance of you producing more WW2 marines and Japanese soldiers casualties poses getting shot and wounded and even a corpsman medic in the field please just inquiring
Thanks for your idea. We know some wounded sets are retired and sold out. We will share your idea with product design team and see what we can do for USMC series in the future. Happy Collecting!
@King & Country - Why don't you guys UNRETIRE TRW110-APACHE? It's a popular item. Also, USE the movie🎬: "GERONIMO An American Legend" 1993 with WES STUDI as Geronimo, which was MORE ACCURATE in depicting Apache Warriors. Some of the ones K & C have are dull, and inaccurate and based on the CORNY🌽 Stereotype Westerns of the 1940's, '50's, '60's & 70's.

Which retired figures are you looking for? We would study your ideas with the team and see if they would be reproduced in the future.

Seems anyone producing good replicas of similar say, britans ltd would be a money maker
Well appointed models, Sir. Is the scale you're using here 1/32nd ?
Hi Andrew, The scale is 1/30 and 60mm tall.
The figurines are made of metal and hand painted.
Thank you - they're particularly striking.
I love those John Ford movies and the figures look great I just wish they were available unpainted as I love painting miniatures.
Thanks for your comment. We love the John Ford movies too.
Sorry to let you know our figures are all come with painted and made of metal.
Very Cool
Thanks for watching!
Hong Kong policemen. Wow! Nyce!
Will there also be figures for the John Ford film crew to accompany these movie cavalry men?
"Sons of the Pioneers"?

Nice Hong Kong policemen. How about a brand new figure of police arrested an illegal hawker in the street?
This video was like watching paint dry.
Nobody forced you to watch it mate.
Abanderado de Iwo jima
Lo vas a volver hacer
Gracias

@KINGANDCOUNTRYHK You're welcome!
British colonial police uniform was more or less the same around the world.
My father was in Northern rhodesia and ADEN and he looked just like that!

We will have some research on this. thanks!
