    Penetrating Catalyst
    50/50 ATF and Paint Thinner in a Spray Bottle.
    Apply liberally!

    hey Scott, what torque setting do you recommend on the castle nut of the ball joints when fitting? Those ones you removed in the video seemed to be just hand tightened. I don't see any mention in the TM but would appreciate your advice on this - thank you

      Marty, I tightened the new ones tight with a wrench and then backed off enough to allow the cotter pin hole to line up👍

    How do I know when I should replace the Bell Crank Shaft ?

    • @TeamG503
      @TeamG503  4 года назад

      David
      Replace whenever you see grooves on the pin from the bushings or bearings. Visual inspection from turning the wheel you can see movement. Early bushings were replaced with bearings. Those can be wore or damaged before the pin.

    From 9 minutes on if things don't work out so easily as is often the case, here is how it can be done: www.jeepdraw.com/images/HOW-TO-R&R-Bell-Crank-1-APR-15.pdf
