great review and awesome channel. I've started filming with a FX30 for pickleball indoors and out. Have you tried the Comica VM30 for sports? Asking because I'm mostly after a budget friendly mic that can capture audio from a further distance, doesn't have to be great quality, more important that it can pick it up. I currently have a Rode Go and I have to crank my FX30 audio level all the way up, so I'm looking for a powered option, of which VM30 seems good, but hoping you've had experience with it you can share. Appreciated.
Another great video! As I am new to video you have been my go to channel! Please forgive the newbie question but while working on my video this weekend I noticed something. Everytime I split a video and then merge other ones side by side it's not 100 percent smooth like most people I see. I'm lining them up perfectly and have the magnetic snap on and it's just not crisp like yours. I was wondering if there is something I'm not doing. Again sorry for the newbie question but I figured we all have to start somewhere. Thanks for your video's it has been very helpful. I also had a question on shutter speed for filming sports but I can save it till your next video😅 Thank you so much ✌️🇨🇦
I wish I could help you but I'm afraid I don't understand your question. I don't see how putting two clips next to each other on the timeline could affect their smoothness. Those two things are not related. Unless I'm missing something... Otherwise regarding shutter speed, this video should answer all your questions ruclips.net/video/96KFhI45uRM/видео.htmlsi=DAGMAJyKJwgr-ZTu
I guess it depends which Sony microphone you’re talking about. But Sony is not exactly known for their high-quality microphones so just having a Sony mic on a Sony camera won’t improve your audio at all.
@Tash-oi4jw sorry I still don’t understand what videos you’re trying to purchase. I make RUclips videos, I don’t sell them. And why would you want to buy a video of me talking about a microphone or a camera?
Hey E! I love the content and I was wondering what you'd recommend to record volleyball games. I use a canon vixia hf r800 camcorder currently but I'd like something that records 1440p 60fps and am not sure about any good options.
Unfortunately, I don't really know much about camcorders. Definitely not enough to recommend a particular one. I would suggest you join our Facebook group and ask your question there. There's plenty of volleyball videographers in the group too! (there's a link in the video's description).
FYI Comica sent me the Traxshot Pro for free but no money was exchanged and they did not get to see or approve this video prior to its release.
Great content can not skip out of our sight LOL.🤣 How splendid the testing is that we could not miss!🥰🔥🔥🔥
Just getting into some amateur sports videography and your channel has helped me so much. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Thanks you and welcome to the club! 🙌🏽
I love the way you cut your footage to the music.
Nice of you to say, thank you!
Thank you for this short Video 🫡
excellent...I'll have to try one in the gym for a volleyball match
great video man
Thank you!
That shotgun mic is crazyy bro
Indeed!
Can you output analog and digital sound at the same time?
Love your setup. Could you share your current RIG setup?
In this video, I have the Sony FX3 with a SmallRig half-cage, SmallRig handle, Feelworld F6+ monitor and the Traxshot Pro mic.

Thank you for the great feedback! But unfortunately, I've never heard of that particular microphone before.
@@BeyondTheGame_E no worries, thanks for reply. Def worth a look, seems like great option. Meanwhile, watching your channel :)
What Mic would you recommend for an iPhone 15 Pro Max with the SMALLRIG Brandon Li Kit for basketball shooting?
Honestly, I don't know much about phone accessories but I'd say any shotgun microphone should do the trick.

@@BeyondTheGame_E Thank you for your quick reply. Appreciate it✌️
Love your content. Budget wise this would be great. For myself, I would save up every penny to buy the Sony microphone. Thoughts?

After purchase Ultimate Sports SFX Pack so I get the videos?
Which videos are you talking about?
@@BeyondTheGame_E the basketball videos
@@Tash-oi4jwI still don’t understand. I mean, if you by my sound fx pack, you get a sound fx pack. There’s no videos included.
@@BeyondTheGame_E oh okok, how can I purchase the videos ?
