  • Like many people who love camping, we wanted to get a fire pit. So I did the research and found there were a zillion options. I finally settled on a premium product that meet certain criteria - stainless steel, conveniently portable, high quality construction, a quality steel, ember tray and cooking options.
The end result was to buy the Inferno 600 model from the Fire Pit Co here in Australia. What a fantastic product! You can check out the Inferno 600 product line here:

Hahahaha "condensed" 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. So awesome, like the idea of keeping the lid on like a hinge until they get bigger!

I absolutely love mine,a bit funny to pack up for a couple of times until you get past the school for the gifted moment. I was concerned about the latches when it first arrived thinking they wouldn’t last but after lots of use and many moves my fears have been proven to be unfounded😍😊👍🇦🇺

Looks like the best one except I'm not sure about the round rods. They seem like they could fall out easily, and just roll around a bit. Other versions of folding grills/fire pits have rectangular "rods" that slide securely into slots.

    Hi George,
How is your fire pit going after one year? Is there any bending due to the heat at all?

How does it work smoke wise? Is it smokeless? Or less smoke than a ground fire?

This one is the 4mm version mate, I am thinking the extra thickness will make it last longer ... time will tell
