2007 Ford Edge Door Unlock Code

- I've had several people, including the dealership I bought this car from, tell me I would have to take the car in to get the code. I sure was relieved to find out the code can be found inside the car. Hope it helps someone else with the same problem!

Great video, I realized all vehicles have the code hidden somewhere. I had an 06 lincoln navigator and found the door code on the passenger side up under the little door. I traded the lincoln for a Ford edge and was wondering where the code was. Thanks alot, this code is in a more convenient location lol

Same experience. Dealer just told me $180.00 for a code they didn’t give me when I bought the car new. I logged on, found this video and voila, problem solved and I kept my $180.00.

You just broadcasted a code that will always work on your car until you replace the module- i always tell my friends and family with this feature to create a second or third code to use because if you have to tell someone you can remove and reset one but the factory one is the master and it always works 😅
Way ahead of you. I changed the sticker on the panel before doing the video and unlocked with my key when it looked like I was using the code lol. Thanks for telling me anyway :)

Yes. It has 178,600 mi. and just a little vibration when changing gears, but my mechanic says it just needs trani filter changed. Also, both fans in the front of the motor are going out. Causes overheating when sitting in traffic or drive-thru and the A/C stops working. But going to work and back is fine.

Your suppose to be able to change it. You have factory code and you can also add your code. Did it with my 07 escape. Found it in the book. Check to see. I no longer have been few years now.

@@memyself1176 nothing major. The transmission is a little jerky now and then, but I think it just needs a tuneup.

No. It's specific to each vehicle.
