- The No. 3 North Carolina Tar Heels rallied from a halftime deficit to come back and defeat the Florida State Seminoles 75-68 on the road in Tallahassee. RJ Davis led all scorers with 24 points while Elliot Cadeau continued his aggressive play and finished with a season-high 16 points to go along with 6 assists in the win. Four players scored in double figures for Leonard Hamilton's club, led by Primo Spears' 15 points.

I second that. There is nothing he can't do. A true once in a lifetime generational talent. And unlike Caleb Love, RJ knows how to play team basketball. That's why we are much better than last year

The difference between last year and this year is the players. Whole package. A team. RJ as captain. Everyone has a role.

Fsu fan here, I’m obviously disappointed we lost but Carolina is a damn good basketball team and I expect them to make a deep run in the tournament, that being said I’m am happy with our effort against a top 3 opponent and I hope that we can somehow get in a position to sneak in the tournament as well. May just be me but I felt like FSU was pretty physical in their play borderline dirty with shoves at the end of plays throughout.

Seems like the refs been picking on carolina lately.
At 0:23 the FSU player just steamrolls Cadeau right in front of the ref. No call. At 3:35 FSU player grabs RJ from behind with both hands and slings him to the floor in front of same ref. No call.
The difference on this year north carolina team is that Caleb love is not on this team
Elliot was an amazing and arguably way better replacement
I also think Ingram and Ryan is a better fit than Nance and Leaky.
Also, Cadaeu, Ingram, nor Ryan were on that team. Caleb Live wasn’t the reason why we didn’t have success, Hubert Davis now has a team that fits HIS identity. It’s shooters on the perimeter and a big man in the middle.

We shouldn’t hate on Caleb. He won us some big games but this is a better team without him. It’s a smarter team and they’ve bought in to the philosophy. This is probably the best defensive team we’ve had since Dean coached. Yeah, they have some lapses but step it up when they need to. And they don’t get shell-shocked. Just smart and tough guys.
That being said, I think Bacot is holding back because he doesn’t have to be the “man” right now. He’ll bring it in the postseason (I hope).
He’s going to have to. Because Carolina is going to need everyone in the ACC TOURNAMENT and beyond. If they want to win a National Championship Title. And I know they do ,after last year’s disappointing season. That is if the NCAA COMMITTEE doesn’t penalize them for not playing in the NIT last year.

FSU played as well as they possibly could have against UNC who was having a very average evening and FSU still lost at home

This team just finds ways to win. Davis with his normal good game, cadeau starting to come into his own and cormac with a few big 3's in this game. That's a pretty good fsu team they've beaten twice

credit to florida state, they have really turned it around this year and seem to be our only real competition in the acc.

Up 19-8 & FSU about ready to throw in the towel. 2 straight missed layups & a turnover & we’ve got a game. Hard to criticize 9-0, but make your layups. Mistakes like that decide who advances in the tournament.
