Bring on February! I MISS OPEN WATER!!!!!😢 MELT MY ICE🧊🥶
Aloha!
¡Buenos días!🌅👋🏻
I’m in Vermont, so I feel your buddy!
It's so crazy to me how much knowledge these guys have.
5:55 THIS IS THE INFO I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. THANK YOU.
I’ve been wondering how heavy of a rod I needed. This is super encouraging!!!
Thanks, Matt. Awesome 👌 information! Extremely grateful for this lesson.
Still the best bass channel on RUclips!
FACTS
Headed to Lake Marion on Friday bringing my micro a-rig with me.
Thanks!
Great video and information. Your enthusiasm towards baits and fishing is the way I used to be. As I get older, my enthusiasm fades. Too bad you two are not my neighbors. You would fire me up to fish more. 😂🤣
Where do you reside, Mr. Douglas?
Great video and great to see you back in the Champ... Skeeters are awesome, but Champs are special 😁
When do you think we might see a video of you and Tim fishing a buddy tournament? I'd love to see that
I really do appreciate all of the techniques and your advice works quite often. That being said I challenge you to try your luck on my Oregon coastal lakes...without sonar
When are you coming back to the Clearlake area? I would love to meet you both. Your two are not only amazing guys, but fantastic fisherman. I would love to pick your brains regarding Clearlake! Thanks again for all that you do for us fishermen! ✌🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼
Great Video! Really appreciate your content! Thanks!!
I was like I Can’t believe you wasn’t in your champion then I was ok he’s In it! 😂 😅
Awesome job guys
I’d put a Berkley Stunna up against a Megabass any winter day.
At 4:06 I recognize that section of riprap from your other vids.
Big fish spot.
🤯 This has to be the first video since the creation of the bait that Matt has talked Squarebill fishing and the R2S Biggie didn't make the list 🤯
😅
I think it’s still his favorite, just for water temp and the time of year don’t work as well as others.
Matt - Love the channel. I wish y’all could show the underwater action of the baits y’all talk about - Thanks
Gotta love how the weather got so good at the end of this month only for it to go back into winter again
Hey Matt and Tim this year has been weird for the North because we still have open in February I wanted a couple of tips for bass fishing we are averaging 50s air temp and I fish all watercolor
You guys have an awesome channel!!! It's cool to see the old Champion still rolling , unfortunately I'm in the upper Midwest so these patterns won't start up for us til March/ April but great info.
We roll down to Southern Illinois and fish Power Plant Lakes through the winter months. But these approaches will still work on Power Plant Lakes too
I wanna try that mimi a rig
You should try the Hybrid Hunter Jr. Great bait all times of the year but they catch them even in cold water.
Awaiting my new back order Micro from TW.
I know it sounds crazy but we dont have much ice in Connecticut! Im about to go fishing now
I can’t believe it’s already February. What’s crazy is there isn’t even any ice on the water where I am in Ontario. Not even an ice cube. 😂
Matt, when is the time to start throwing glide baits, just started throwing them last year and it is addictive. Most of the lakes I fish are blueback herring lakes. Thanks brother
@tacticalbassin i used the links you provided to buy some of the baits you suggested. I hope you guy's get a percentage of some sort. Also, would these baits work well in February in California, more specific, Santa Clara County reservoirs? Thanks for the informative videos ❤ u guys!
I found some mostly open water and I’m hoping to get out there on Sunday. It’s hard to find places to fish in Wisconsin right now
Is he fishing in the nourth
I still have not had any luck on the new rig...but I'm fishing from the bank
Thanks for the tips Matt...but what do I throw today? (Jan 31st) 😅
Hoping my ponds thaw for the weekend honestly, been in the mid 40s up here in north west indiana... but i wanna know your guys thoughts on the 6th sense baits, like axel jigs or underspin and the axis squarebill
I have zero luck with an underspin. Any tips or advice?
Nice to see the champion again! What happened to the skeeter?
Just getting some maintenance done 👍🏼
Hey have you guys seen Stealth Lures clear plastic A-rig?
What size line do you like for the small swimbait (3”)with the underspin?
Do you guys do guide trips?
Does the water temp matter? Like the waters colder are they gonna stay deeper or what how does that work
Finally Fishing it’s back😭
1st!
I would like to know your opinion on the trika rod?
Any ideas on what color to fish jerkbaits in california? I want to try it this February but idk where to start.
I want to try the micro rig but have never thrown the A rig.
Do I need to bend the wires at all?
Thanks
I’ve got the micro A-rig and it’s just not getting it done for me. I haven’t caught anything yet.
You guys throwing the IMX PRO 883 BJR for square bills?
Typically we throw the Megabass Levante Flat Side Special for squarebills. In the IMX Pro line, I'd go with the 845 CBR.
I’d like to see a good clip of how you work a jerkbait in cold water. I think I’m either way too fast or way too slow 😅
Ya no how you can take one look and say that bait has it.Zumverno and mcro flex say that to me.
I really need to move from the ice. 😢
I catch Bass, but I don't need a million ways. 😅
@tacticalbassin hey I need your help finding a rod
