I am a Saints fan, and was shocked at our starting eleven. I understand the need for changes after only playing on Thursday though. We have found our strongest team, as you saw against United, the midfield is stronger with Big Les, and Sulemana attacking. The bench is poor, that is what changed the game at Old Trafford, this time we finished stronger by adding our better players later. Forest played very well, and were very unlucky with the VAR, we have had are arses bitten many times this season by it also. I hope you stay fit, and really finish strongly, it is a real treat when the big 6 are disrupted. I am still gutted about losing the 1979 league cup final to you guys, Birtles was a nuisance that day.
I have to say watching you guys in that last half hour i was wondering how the hell you have had the season you have so far. That team that ended game should give most teams real problems. Best of luck to you guys buddy
@SoloSi2024 Thank you. We know we are down, we should have changed style months ago, but we just gave to make the best of a bad job. If, and it's a big if, we can get back up, I hope we can learn from you guys. Good luck, and I will be looking out for your results for the rest of the season.
Thanks mate the subs were great for you they changed the game, where as we suffered a little taking off quality and having under performances from those who came on. Really hope Southampton can at least get a few wins and make a fight of it, especially beating Derbys record
Appreciate what you said at the end, giving perspective to our insane improvement from 17th. I got so bothered by the negativity from a bunch of fans today I ended up ducking out. I still remember 3 seasons in league 1. I still recall being tipped for promotion to the Prem in 2012 but finishing 19th.
Well said pal…. after countless dejected journeys back from playoff collapses and daylight robberies… I wanted us to stay up for first season in PL, maybe take a couple of top 8 scalps and give a decent account of themselves.. staying up last season with the cards stacked against us was huge… when I caught the preseason highlights I had a good feeling and predicted 12th in may 25… how anyone can complain when we’ve been top 8 barring one weekend all season is beyond ridiculous! Not sure what people are expecting tbh! COYR ⭐️⭐️
@katemc.intyresmith9373 I appreciate that, thank you. 12th was my number at the start of the season too, would've been very happy with that. Enjoy the ride, these lads are greater than the sum of their parts
Great job with watch-along earlier, what a frantic shambles in the second half, nice job in keeping yourself together during the stream. That’s another 3-2 in our favour, it wasn’t long ago when we were cursed by 3-2. What impresses me most is that’s another game we have ground out a win. But agree with you, we need Nuno to get on top of it. Big concern is the lack of challenges in the box from a few leaden booted players failing to get a headed challenges in from set pieces. Bournemouth will be tough, but the players know it will be tough going into the match and hopefully mentally will be switched on throughout the match. Stop Kluivert and we’ll be ok…
2 massive games for us- Bournemouth and Newcastle, the other top teams will be coping with the competition run ins. This could be our stress next season, so let's enjoy it and take our chance now. COYR!
I think Forest's continued fortunes, are dependent on keeping key players such as MGW, Wood, Anderson and the two centre backs fit. Let's face it, we have been extremely lucky with injuries. As for yesterday, the ref gave Southampton, an undeserved lifeline, by wrongly disallowing Milenkavic's goal. At 4-1, it would have been game over.
Great analysis Wolfie Your point on goal difference is spot on- more the point I was trying to make to Ez yesterday on GOR- we don’t go out to “smash” teams, Nuno has instilled a style and system that works. 3 goals from 3 shots is still ruthless!
We have slowed down a bit the last few games BUT we are still picking up points, look corner goals against will happen, cold be a purple patch now that happens. This happened to Arsenal on Satrday, 2-0 up and in total control then agoal from nowhere and panic station, we got away with it yesterday AND against Liverpool, very happy with that point because those chances afterthey had was massive, also the Wolves match even though they were in the first half, and in the other end we are ruthless, i mean ihave rarely seen such efficiency, we have to be the most clinical team in te Prem. I hope it will last the whole season but we need to get to the level we were in vs Villa,Everton, West ham matches, we are winning all of the 50/50 matches right now, the mid block have become a little to low block now too, and we will be punished BUT one thing that is very interesting is that we keep on scoring the first goal so the possession stats and all that are a bit scewed because for example the one match we had most possession was against Villa when it was 0-0 to the 70th minute or so then went 1-0 down and we took over completely, for me that was the match that really gave us so much confidence and our season became a dream
i'm starting to think these kryptonite teams and our records against them in recent history are somehow irrelevant for this team. only on a handful of occasions this season has Nuno not come up with a specific gameplan for the specific upoming fixture, which as you stated in the video, have ONE of in a week, more or less - teams around us don't have that luxury. our preperation for games gives us a tactical and psychological advantage going into games this season that kind of nullify the effects of previous "curses" and dry spells against PL teams. Having said all that, i'm still hoping for a draw @ AFCB, maybe a 0-0 scoreline?the streak lives on. on another happy note, congrats to Ola Aina for becoming the first defender in the PL to reach 100 FPL points this season, 5 pts clear of trent an 12 pts ahead of hall. on a game in which he has won us 2 actual points in the table, its a nice stat.
Its been a brilliant season. Will we win the league...imo no! As a defensive unit we are probably up there with the best of them, as an offensive unit we are miles away. We struggle to control games whoever we play, we struggle to string 10 passes together, we can't keep the ball, imo it's just a much better version of what Cooper was trying to do. We nicking points at the moment because we're clinical, chance to goal ratio is high. We need more quality in the middle of the park and up top, more squad depth. We played Liverpool...its was like watching a training session of attack vs defence...we are miles away from them. Love this club and how we have improved over the last few seasons is extraordinary but my honest opinion is we still have a long way to go to be seriously in contention for the title. Europe maybe a possibility but still think we are overachieving and what's keeping us there is the unity, desire and team spirit.
It looks worse than it is. I remember Greece won the euros. They were invisible. The number of goals conceded by trying to pep ball😂 nah let's not do that just kick it long sels😂 problem solved. We need a couple of players and just play each game. Not miles off it just saying.
Picking up points when we maybe aren’t at our best, bodes well for the coming games because we will be on it. The discipline has been fantastic this season. We could upset Bournemouth I’m sure
Our expectations have changed. I was hoping for a nice stress free mid table finish and a progressive season as our young team developed. I'd forgotten how stressful it is to be successful. Europe will play a big part this season and the top eleven are all capable of taking points from each other. So, not only us but Fulham, Bournemouth and Bretford will all be fresh when the other clubs come creaking back from hard games abroad. It was good to see Alanga perform well on the left yesterday if CHO is injured and Anderson summed up the game yesterday, when he admitted they relaxed a bit in the second half. Be happy but for some of you now you know being good is not as easy as you thought it might be! COYR
We have a really tough run now, we've near enough done the job beating the lower teams and taking points off them. Its now time to compete and beat quality. Bournemouth, brighton, fulham, newcastle and arsenal all coming up. This is a key period now..i hope cho is ok we need him, and when murillo started limping as well my heart was in my mouth. Keep the 11 fit and i truely believe this team will at least finish top four, but we need every single one of them. As we saw yesterday our depth maybe better then it was, but it lacks confidence and quality at times. We will see that massively improve with a european budget and planning. Coyrs
This is our biggest, most important January window yet, but so far there's been no signings... I'm really anxious to get someone in asap. I saw where Marmoush only just went to Man City in this window, and that frustrates me, as I would've thought that Forest would've made a play for him, but I didn't see anything seriously linking us to him. Unless I missed something? Also, WHAT has happened to the whole Gimenez story? We were once again linked, and once again that link seemed to just fade away.
Simply put the ref got in our heads, which is bad because of who we got next, and that fourth goal if you watch it wood is onside before the ball is hit
I really think we need a couple of additions (looks like Gimenez off the table now). Not just to cover injuries, but to give the squad that little bit of extra motivation that we’re serious about going for it. The likes of a Wissa could do it.
The scare comes as a good wake up call ahead of a tricky run of games (Outside of the cup). Jota is clearly a raw work in progress and upgrade needed. Is Taiwo done? Beginning to think both he and forest need to move on. Did motd even show that hideous foul?
Oops add 4-1-3 not 5-1-3 which would give 80pts not 83pts and would not even beat the Leicester winning score. I really mus edit before posting...a bad habit.
The 2nd goal for me should of never happened if our 4th was allowed (no clue why it wasn't apparently being alive is an offence) but overall our squad was lookin tired after 70-80min mark and quite a few going down often it wasn't very forest like but all in all 3 points is 3 points and im just happy we are safe so I/we can enjoy the league for once
It was a crazy 2nd half. Poor decisions, missed chances to put the game away, really tired legs, to name a few. One massive positive is the 3 points despite these troubles. It's these games that count. Fairplay to Southampton, but it does need mentioning they kicked lumps out of us. On another day, they should have been down to 10 men. Nuno has become a little predictable, so hopefully, he can change it up a little next game. 3 points and great to be a Forest fan
A mixture of complacency and tiredness I think. Subs need to be made earlier even h/t. Danillo and sangare can't come back quick enough. Also Hugo Ekitike needs to be seriously looked at, he's a 22yr old perfect replacement for wood
Wofie .. complacency did set in after 3 goals up but that’s pretty normal. Players tend to relax a little bit and we almost paid for it dearly. Miki goal was wrongly ruled out and it might have crushed STH spirit at 4-1. Title challenger? Finish in top 4 and we will have the best season in the last 30 years.
You only have to look at the way we are playing to believe! Liverpool only needs to drop points on a couple of games and it literally is game on for the title! COYR!!!
I was at the game yesterday and we played very well in the first half and then in the second half we looked like we put the hand break on and then we conceded from a corner again but this is all a fluke and Nuno will sort this out and Forest will stop conceding from a set piece but Forest are in a title race and if Liverpool lose a bit of form then Forest will capitalise on them Arsenal are not in a title race because they always bottle it so Forest will win the title and we will get champions league football COYR
We won the match in the first half. Southampton played 'suicide ball' in their own third, which cost them two goals. Yes, they got a bit of joy at the end but their goals were in garbage time when they were already 3-0 down. I wouldn't worry too much. What other team in the league has a 6ft 8 striker? LOL These Championship teams need to learn that suicide ball won't keep you in the league. The only team to do it successfully was Bielsa's Leeds in the first season. They need to take a leaf out of the Everton, Forest and Burnley model (when they were in the Prem).
I’ve just been on United Stand and they’re moaning about getting messed about on the sales of Garnacho and Rashford. They deserve all the shit they get the way they’ve jerked our chains in the past. It looks like they’re gonna be stuck with Rashford at £300k/week. Aww well, never mind hay?
Maybe a bit of a wake up call for the Greek boss. Time to spend some money on some good attackers off the bench. I’ve never seen such uselesss subs in my life. Not Nunos fault tho.
I knew it wouldnt take much of a "wobble" if you can even call it that to have a few on this channel worrying already 😆 ... What are you gonna do when we lose a few on the bounce!? You gonna turn or stick with the team and Nuno? If we're pushing for top four with a few games to go and you find you've been slating the team then I think you've gotta look at yourselves at that point. This aint no happy clapper opinion, its just a logical one. We were so comfortable yesterday and a deflected goal, a disallowed goal, injuries and stopages all went in southamptons favour! Its a young team but even top top teams struggle to get over the line in these situations ... and we did get over the line! There will be tougher tests yet to come so please don't bottle it as fans too early!
What happens if Villa win champions league and say Spurs win Europa league, does 4th miss out. ( I nearly laughed writing spurs to win, but the hypothetical should probably be checked)
Better it was against Saints than a bigger tem..now they can clear the mistakes when meeting a bigger club.. And if that shitty ref hadnt disallowed the 4-1 . Then we wouldnt have had ny problems... And maybe we underestimated them a bit
I hate Liverpool, born in 71,we and other club's missed out on European football because of them,The biggest piss off was that they were supposed to be out of europe for 3 more years, guess what, they only served 1 more year, That's why i HATE Liverpool.
What happened on Never a Foul? One second, I was listening to you serenade, then bam, you left and never came back. I'm not criticizing. I'm just curious.
@lateraldeano trust me mate, I have the dream and want it so bad. I experienced forest in Europe and it's awesome. I was a kid at the time, and I want to do it again. I've supported Forest since 1976 and living in the N.E. surrounded by Geordies, maccums and Smoggies with the glory hunter mancs and Scousers, this is MY time. And I am all in for a title challenge without doubt, but finishing 8th would not disappoint me
Stop going on about a title race we all know we ain't winning the league. Just concentrate on the Europe even if it's the europa league it's great but trust me we are not winning the league. Don't know if you are playing mind games or trolling certain fans but it ain't happening 🤣 I'm a die hard fan trust me and go to games and put my heart in but again we ain't winning no league. Annoys me how much people are going on about it when we should be concentrating on other things. The mad thing is is they is a bunch of forest fans out there that would proper slag us off for not winning the fucking league 🤣 shut up and make do with Europe. You reds Ps f the conference league we don't need it.

Yesterday proved we need a winger and striker in this window
Yar, gotta get rid of Elanga and Awoniyi and sign two strikers, a cam and a left back
@ChrisBenoit9 id keep elanga
Probably keep elanga but need a striker

Southamptons first goal was deflected by Bednarek who was in an offside position when the free kick was taken so why was that not disallowed
It was checked he was onside
Keep up the momentum .. great vid ... my team is Nufc. . . we are giving these clubs Arsenal etc a head ache .. .our run of 9 wins
proves that Hwtl 😎
We lost our shape in the second half, the very thing that makes us good this season.
Bang on mate
Looked rattled after that disallowed goal tbh
Alex Baena to Forest?? Omg that would honestly be the best signing! Incredible set piece delivery & great goal scoring talent on the left or centrally
Great video . COYR ⭐️⭐️

Ref Ando, agree, hes a helluva player, hopefully gets on the scoresheet a bit more, obviously so called bigger teams will be taking notice.
Congratulations to Forest and the fans on an important win - to keep their place in the top four.

You reds we need couple of signings before end of January!!!!you reds ❤❤❤❤❤
My prediction for forest since weeks ago has been and will be for Forest securing 7-8th spot when this epl season concludes.
Happy if we focus on staying clear of the 5 teams behind us because in doing so we might just overhaul the two in front!
Coyrs

Unless I missed something? Also, WHAT has happened to the whole Gimenez story? We were once again linked, and once again that link seemed to just fade away.
I believe the team got a little tired towards the end due to the Liverpool game. Still hopeful for a European place.
All depends on this transfer window.
A striker being signed is imperative
I think we breezed it but was playing against 12 men with Taylor.
The game could of ended 5/6-1 if it wasnt for him
There's a horse running tomorrow in the 7pm Wolverhampton meeting called Marinakis, got to be worth a quid each way, came 2nd and 1st last 2 runs
Simply put the ref got in our heads, which is bad because of who we got next, and that fourth goal if you watch it wood is onside before the ball is hit
Im so proud of forest, i dont care were we end up as long as we go down fighting. Up the forest
The next 6 games are the toughest run yet I would argue
Oops add 4-1-3 not 5-1-3 which would give 80pts not 83pts and would not even beat the Leicester winning score. I really mus edit before posting...a bad habit.
There 1st goal could of gone anywhere then when our 4th was ruled out thats when the game took a bit of a swing in there favour
Hearing news that Murillo is signing a new four year deal to stay at forest Hope it's true. We need to get Aina signed up too.
Boys got complacent second half, first time we have been in a comfortable position
This is a process take one game at a time and the points will come and that will determine final league position.
Do we go into the Bournemouth game as under dogs? I think so after this weekend…
If we finish in any European place i'll be happy but if we dont itll obviously be disappointing given the season weve had so far
If T leaves then we need one other challenger striker for wood and a back up understudy striker.
id prefer to play sels upfront rather than taiwo, hes so lazy doesnt help the team 1 bit
Not boasting but I am looking at top spot like you say we don’t have 3 games a week like others
It was a crazy 2nd half. Poor decisions, missed chances to put the game away, really tired legs, to name a few. One massive positive is the 3 points despite these troubles. The first goal was a fluke. The second from a weird giant!! Let’s see how we go in upcoming games.
You only have to look at the way we are playing to believe! Liverpool only needs to drop points on a couple of games and it literally is game on for the title! COYR!!!

How Saints didn't get a red card on fouls on MGW and Anthony Taylor is a complete ....won't swear

And if that shitty ref hadnt disallowed the 4-1
.
Then we wouldnt have had ny problems...
And maybe we underestimated them a bit
Only idiots say we are not title contenders
Where is Chelsea financial charges
Teams we’ve beat that we haven’t wolves spurs Everton Man City beat them but city Bournemouth’s are next.!!!
This video happened 😎
@ForestFanTV .. I see.
I don’t blame him for leaving that was a hard listen 😅
I just hope for now that Chelsea slip up tonight
Title race is unrealistic, and in all honesty so is top 4 but European footy is good enough and good prep for coming seasons
Think we can win half our 16 games? I do. However many games we win all the teams below us have to win at least 2 more. Dare to dream mate.
You reds
Ps f the conference league we don't need it.
