That's one punk rock band that will never die been listening to NOFX for more than 20 years and they just never get boring...
finally just finished reading the book. NoFX. A definite must for reading some funny stories. Awesome band.
Lots of sad stories there too...
It feels soooo good to see Mike so damn happy on stage again. I'm also glad that they're playing the NOFX Theme at the end, that was quite a rendition.
The best BAND of all time. NOFX are my Rolling Stones.
my MOZART get high!
🤘
NOFX are my NOFX. NOFX are my Beatles would have made more sense
@@xxx_daftsmackhead_xxx yes but the Beatles kind of suck, plus The Rolling Stones are still touring. 😂 just like NOFX.
@@TheDouglasWinter Trash opinion. Fat Mike loves The Beatles too. Stones are mid as hell in comparison
Aging like a fine wine, gentleman....I fucking love NOFX long time...They make me smile.
Best Drummer since Keith Moon
Karina is just awesome, I love her voice.
El Hefe has the voice of an angel
so true
Especially at 15:37

Green Corn or Malachi Crunch woulda been awesome
thanks
Spoiler :3
so you just copy and pasted this from the video description? And youre taking credit for it.. scummy
Man, Mike hasn't sounded this on point live since the early 90s. Sobriety suits him well!
That's what it is?! DAMN. Amazing.
@@unamor well, at the time he had gone into a detox program. Not fully "sober" so much as MORE sober. They were RIPPIN' it here!
La sobriedad hacia ke cantara diferente
wow...the quality of this video is untouchable...THANK YOU for sharing. NOFX continue to rock all there is to rock. The new album is outstanding. THANKS!
One of the best bands of all the time. 100% genuine.
Love it. Getting old sucks, but having videos of bands I grew up listening to is great. THATS ME INSIDE YOUR HEAD!
Six years on dope is such a badass song
mel yell makes everything better
I believe Smelly needs an honorable mention.
25:30
Smelly's my dad
best punk drummer EVER
We share the same name (not Smelly btw). Even same spelling! :)
Damn Hefe's guitar is fucking old! still playing same since forever :D top notch
it's a true testament to the sheer quality of the band and their lyrical and thematic direction that their songs sound so good when Mike's voice sounds like that lol
From Brasil 🇧🇷.NOFX, the best!!!
This is sick! One of the best of them live for a while. Love the addition of that lovely woman, especially on the brews!
seriously....
one of the best bands ever....musically and influence.
I'm loving sober Fat Mike's live vocals. I've seen NOFX 6 times in 14 years and he hasn't been this solid in awhile. Yeah his voice is still off-key and punk as fuck but it's totally on point, dare I say nuanced.
I just saw them in Denver and I was the one too fuct up to function
Just saw them for the first time a few weeks ago after being a fan for 20 years, yeah, Mike is on point. I was waiting since the late 90's to see them live (that's when NOFX became an obsession). I'm glad Mike is sober now. NOFX wrote one of the best albums of their career (IMO) with "First Ditch Effort". "I'm So Sorry Tony" and "Generation Z" give me chills like no songs have done in a LONG time.
prob smokes shit loads of weed
Tony Roberts nah, fat mike doesn't smoke weed. over the years he's been pretty consistent about his dislike for it
Slippy Jones yeah dude I'm with you on that. FDE is the band's greatest achievement in years. Lyrically, musically, and production...ally
Man I can't wait 2 see them in November. Will be my first NOFX show ever and am sooo pumped. Got the VIP package and everything!
dammm nofx still tearing it up after30+ years! noice!
For all german readers:
Ich finde es großartig wie es der Rockpalast auch nach über 30 Jahren nicht schafft die Songnamen in korrekter Orthographie einzublenden. Allerdings war es in den 90ern bei den Aufzeichnungen, z.B. des Bizarre Festivals genau so. Vielleicht ist es also eine Hommage an die gute alte Zeit. :-)
Alexander Posselt
Why start your comment in one language, then continue it in another? Lol
*laughs in 'translate to english'*
i saw this entire show more than 25 times easily
Melvin at the end
The "Thank you for being so cool to me." was heartwarming. Melvin is just the sweetest guy, lol
The never-ending accordion solo.
He is an incredible guy! At a show in Peru, I made a poster asking him for a pick. He gave me a handshake and the pick with which he had played throughout the show so far. That was my best moment in punk rock history.
biggest crowd pop they got that night... amazing moment!
ive never seen fat mike try so hard. Its the best Nofx I've seen. Proud of ya Mike
NOFX is a rare example (at least today) of 4 real characters in a band bonded by a deep friendship. I think that's part of what makes them great. Never been a huge fan, but still I have huge love & respect, even more since I read their book (made my listen to all those great 80s/90s Cali punk/HC records again - amazing stuff!). Musically they didn't invent this style of melodic punkrock but they're the ones who mastered it & made it their own trademark.
it's so fucking beautiful seeing mike having fun at shows again. they're pretty fucking tight again as well. awesome.
I can't believe all the old awesome songs they played at this one, and the gal on keyboard.....so good
LOL last song (theme for a Nofx album( was hilarious! xD
Melvin with the accordion at the end!! most fun I've had listening someone with the accordion xD
Best band of all time.
Yes, seen them first 1996 in cologne @Bizzare Festival and i am still in love
as they never suck at LIVE , neway... Long Live NoFX !!!
Guy at 53:07 just isn't having any of it.
he really isn't happy.
Just a RAMMSTEIN-fan
he is analyzing the show with his 125 dream theater gig experience
God damn they look so fucking old. Started listening to them about 20 years ago when i was in my early teens. The grey hairs make me so self conscious of my own. Fuck it. Nothing I can do about it. Love that they played old songs too. GOT A DOG NAMED DOG WHO PISSES ON MY FLOOR THATS RIGHT IVE GOT A FLOOR . Punk in drublic and So long and thanks for all the shoes are two of my all time favorite albums.
Jesus Christ tiny dog
3:56 how I fell in love with nofx in the 90s
Sounds great as always. So glad they get the credit they deserve and get to play big shows like this all the time.
they still the same nofx when i was in senior highschool .yesssss !!!
These old men can still rock pretty hard!
Anybody notice that Melvin is putting the yell in at random times during their shows lately? Every once in a while you'll hear a random "yeah!"
Not complaining, though. His vocals are sounding awesome.
Yeah, I've noticed he has even started singing some of Mike's parts. Maybe Mike the screams are too much for Mike now? lol
I think half of it is to give Mike a little vocal break, and the other half is so Mike can play the more complicated bass parts without having to worry about singing.
Yeah, it makes sense. NOFX sets are like 90 minutes lol has to be hard to keep up that intensity when you're almost 50 as well
Melvin sings the songs that Mike used to sing that are too high pitched for him
Colin A I may be always maejwwwahnashnee, either waither, di t am little bet
Dude... Melvin singing "Stickin' In My Eye" was awesome.
He crushed 6 years on dope as well. I've always thought he was a fantastic singer.
@@soad11dude
He's definitely improved over the years. Took about 20, lol.
I'd like to see him be the front man in some sorta side project.
Brilliant! Loved it! Herojuana was my favorite.
Eric Melvin is my hero.
Love these guys! Kicking it old school while old. Listen up kids, these guys will show you how to be punk.
The drum sound is perfect
Smelly slays. Love his stache!
Seriously love this set so much. Thank you
This is true legend and I hope NOFX come to Indonesia 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻 :)
Masters of MASTERS!!!!
29:00 what a perfect sync. :D
SIX YEARS ON DOPE. Shit they nailed that live!
NOFX is like fine wine
You’ve really gotta hand it to Fat Mike and NOFX. Not many people can fart and turn it into a 30-year career.
Rely good camera team, and the sound is great - thx!
The Rolling Stones of Punk Rawk.
To everyone who is saying 'shit crowd' that's because it's direct audio, meaning it's coming directly from the amp/mics (any crowd noise is bled into the mics)
ラストのメルヴィン最高だな!!!泣けた!!!20年前にお台場に観に行った時とおんなじ!!!ノーエフ最高!
who is this karina denike chick on keyboards and how'd she get hooked up with nofx? also, on a side note, smelly looks bored as hell all the time. also, on a side side note, their band banner is fucking hilarious for a concert of this size. also, on a side side side note, hefe nails it on vocals for radio.
i was also going to say smelly looks unamused
Seriously you don't get the banner joke??
The banner IS hilarious. I saw them at a festival in Detroit where they already had the headlining bands banners up and when NOFX were about to play in the day, it was nearly impossible for the guys working on stage to get their banner up there to where people could see it. They took down the rafters about 2 times before it worked. Even then, it only covered the "THE" on Pierce The Veil's banner. NOFX: the original trolls
Smelly is just focused
Hugh Mingbean friends.
That pronunciation of French in "Champs Elysées" is just on point, man.
Love it! Thank you for sharing it.
Saw them in 93 or 94 opening for Fishbone....they were fantastic!
xoxo The Clarences
I enjoy this show. Thanks for sharing
Ende is einfach zu geil
Großartig, absolute Großartig... don't call me scheiß...
NoFX for ever
You really rock the best band I can think of I like motorhead but every song you made does really makes sense and evident to melody and back vocals you just can't stay indifferent to your songs you're the best even if I'm the biggest motorhead fan!
Punk rock Always. Da hora !!!
24:19 „Germany, you don’t got an ocean, but you
got the Black Sea…..” hahaha. Thank God Fat Mike’s skills in writing songs is
better than his geography knowledge 😉
Probably the best live rendition of Idiots Are Taking Over! Vocals are so on point there I dare to say it's better than the studio version. :)
Greatest band of all time
1. Smelly has good control of his face while he drums
2. Not drugged up and drunk but they make up for it with wicked harms and performances
3. Mike's rolled the tone down on the bass or something for Eat The Meek and its fantastic
4. Lovin the new shit
That's as far as I am at
oh and 5. The sound guy is fucking on point, I mean, I wasn't there but you can hear that performance as well
it's so good to see a sober Mike
What an amazing performance---bravo!
That fucking ending lmao, Melvin is hilarious
stinky is the best drummer
You mean smelly? Haha
This is perfectness
After all these years; still lowering the bar.
While band will play and punx will be punx, punk will live. Punks not Dead and punk 4ever
best live act ever.
THANK YOU FOR THIS. I MISS MY FAT MIKE & ☯ GANG
dont call my wife, dont caaaaaall my wife
😂 good one
She wasn't mad at me, she was scorn. Circumsized, categorized, for watching porn!
*litterally lol now... ;-))
Give me money first then I wont
THE BEST
i hope someday i can see their concert... -NOFX fans from Indonesia.
Eat the Meek lowkey stole the set
You took the jokes about Germany out. That was undebatably the best part of the concert
CLASSIC SHOW
grupo memorable sus conciertos en guadalajara México inolvidables saludos
Mike finally gets sober, and he fucks up Theme from a NOFX Album.....
Best public ever germany !!! no one move or applause !!
I got to see these guys at warped at least 12 years ago. I love how they just don't give a shit, definitely in the top five of DIY bands
The absolutely kill Mattersville. Highlight of this show.
Also Melvin playing accordion.
the most amazing version of eat the meek i have ever heard! so fucking good :)
Do the crowd is even alive?
No, they, actually, don't...
Still fucking great...
brilliant version of radio....
best Musik timeless
listening to NOFX and many other punk rock bands almost 20 years ago as a young punk kid , I must have subliminal learned the truth about the world cause they were fucking right in there messages in their song. its no wonder why I feel the way I do about the status of things in today's current world.
NoFx 🎉🎉 Everpunk 😅😅😅😅😅😅2024🔥🔥🔥🔥
the crowd is a joke
JaXnotDeaD problem was that Rammstein was the Headliner. No promoter would ever book NOFX as a support band for Rammstein - just doesn't work out. They should have had a Rammstein as headliner day and the other day with NOFX as the headliner. You can avoid having the metal guys at a punk show. No offense but it just doesn't work out with most metal fans
Franz Kafka I'm sure that's the reason.... Fucking idiot
T0bii20021997 to add insult to injury, they had Limp Bizkit as headliner the day before, as well as Sum 41 playing earlier. That would have been a much better fit, getting the whole skater crowd in front of the stage.
Also it seemed to be raining a lot...with a bunch of folks around me I would have been more quiet even
wow thank you
