I think the H-10 leak detector looks like a winner there. But the soap spray has it's place too in some cases.
The spray is mostly used due to I can hear the leak. But when I can not H-10 finds it every time.
H10 is a great investment. I sweep with an SL2, pin point with the H10, then spray bubbles. It's quick. I'm thinking about investing in a PGAM. It's 4 grand but I think it will greatly cut detections time. Time is money. Especially when it's hot.

Is the repair done by replacement or by fixing the leak point? Is the corrosion due to uncovered bare tubing?
Problem with the H10 is it doesn't work on 410a very well.
Never had that problem
Marcus It works great. They say you can turn the temp up a quarter turn but I have no problems at the factory setting. Leaks are still a bitch, no matter what tool you have.
