Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: So many beauties... but my favorite was the purple and orange agatized wood! Must be heaven to hunt the Yellowstone!
Wow the rocks you found. OMGosh. So pretty the agates are amazing and the dendrites in some of them so cool. The one almost looked like a rectangular window with the silhouette of a person looking out. And that red and yellow jasper with the agate so colourful. Your finds blow my mind. Thanks for taking the time to video the amazing rocks and your rusty red puppy. He is so cute. Thanks Kim.
You always collect the most colorful stones. I loved them all. I Iliked the wildlife and chopper hunting like a fox in the snow. The camera work was great as was the editing. You "done good". Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us. Woof to Chopper. Be happy, safe and stay healthy and warm 😷⚒ You should go on the pod cast. You would be great.
Agate at 9:27 mark is surrounded by a Fabulous Frame of inclusions.. They will be lost if you cut or polish that . . So many great Finds.. The agate at 10:33 mark looks like Stingray with lots of fish swimming with it. Wonderful Dendrite.. Just WOW! I see trees like Theo when you hold up some of those Agates with Dendrites.. Lovely.. Fabulous Cabs for jewelry..
When I do watch you hunting your fabulous rocks I see some you don’t see & I’m like your cheerleader yelling to you look look your missing that good one! Lol! I so enjoy your videos…! ❤️🔥💥❤️🔥
Me too!!! Or she'll pass over a beautiful rock and I'll almost say, no wait, go back and at least look at that one!!! Wish we could be there with her!!!
You know, with all that snow around, you don't have to use your spray bottle. Just wipe them off on the snow and save your water for when you need it. Beautiful rocks!
Another beautiful Agatastic video! Beautiful, colorful Jaspers and petrified wood as well! I have to get over to Montana soon! I would have to be drug back home though, lol! I'd try to bring 'em all back home!
Amazing stuff there. Congrats on having a "blue" day. I have a special place in my heart for Petrified Wood. One of my favorite things l own was found by my father out here in the Big Bend area of Texas. It is a Native American Hand Ax made of beautiful red, blue, green and yellow Petrified Wood. Our state rock here is Petrified Palm Wood. Have some of that too.
I can’t get over some of the rocks you find they are absolutely beautiful I wish I had rocky river beds like that to go look at absolutely gorgeous and watching the dog run and play in the snow is so much fun my little guy loves to run and play in the snow but if he runs at you you’re gonna fall over he’s a 70 pound English bulldog it’s like hitting a cinder block and getting knocked over
Found a couple of your videos I missed. So, enjoying them with my morning cup of joe. Loving your cabin fever/rockhound hunts. Your photography is very awesome!!
Hi, WOW!!! You hit the jackpot!!! All those gorgeous stones and wood, just wow!!! Can't wait to watch you cut some of them!!! Great video!!! Take care, stay safe, happy, healthy and warm!!! 😊
Not much snow at your side of the pond, and a lot of beutiful rocks to find, still👍👍👍🤩🤩 And, your channel is the second one I have subcribed too, in total, because I like your way of rockhounding, keep one👋👋👋
Another wow on the scale! You find such interesting and amazing specimens. I love looking at the samples around the ones you display. I'd need a couple of back packs.
I was freezing just watching you collect the colorful ice cubes. It was 76 today part Sun in Florida. As usual you hit the jackpot. Excellent finds🥰😎🔥❤️🎉💯🇺🇲 figure 8 agate was my fave 1
Great day for colorful Jasper, Wood and Agates! But geez a little graphic on get out of there Chopper you will fall through and float under the ice man we can think it don't make me hear it.
Wow! What a great rock hunting day, some amazing finds and the glow... 😍 Chopper made me a bit nervous on the ice, but he finally got to chomp on bone,. Glad to see him in good health. Rock on!
Wow! You have great access to wonderful rocks. I have been to Montana once in our RV and it is so beautiful. We were looking forward to going again and staying a while now that I just got started rock hounding and tumbling. Unfortunately it will have to wait because last week our RV burned with all contents. We got out with the clothes on our back. God is good and we are safe but my Montana rock hunting will have to wait on the good Lord ❤️
@@MontanaRockMom thank you. We are waiting to see what our insurance will cover but hope to get another RV someday. For now I will be looking at yard gravel for tumblers or just hunt sea shells for now. I live in Florida 😁
I think if Yellowstone blew open, you'd be out there the next day huntin' lava lol. You found some sweet kibbles for an up and coming feeding session with Drogon there. Can't wait to see it! You should cut one of those blue rocks (howlite?) In half. I think if it's dyed, it wouldn't be blue all the way through. Or maybe it would be. I'm curious.
I think we should all start a betting pool on whether or not Chopper finds a leg. I bet that one at 5:55 is going to have some amazing surprises when you slab it. Just so many WOW finds on this trip. Those orbicular formations on that jasper are so cool, almost like a poppy jasper. I always wonder, do you guys choose the spots where the ads go when you're making your vids, or is there some algorithm that picks the point. Great stuff as always, thanks for posting. BTW, a ziplock baggie full of snow in the pocket becomes refill water pretty quick.
I just saw your video and loved it! I live in Colorado but for Spring Break, in a week or so, I was thinking of driving up to Montana for rockhounding. Can you recommend some locations where I might have some success. I’d love to know about where you’re finding these pretty stones, for instance. Thanks for any help you can offer
Love your videos!! I live in Wyoming and come up to Billings to visit a friend frequently. I’m an avid rock collector and would love to find some Montana agate and pet wood along the Yellowstone. I can’t walk very far due to arthritis so I would ask if you can recommend an easy access location to find some beauties
So, I feel like the weather changes here as much as it does in Wyoming. My son was born in Cody. In Billings, most of the fishing access sites are pretty friendly for ease of access. What gets more difficult is the ice/snow/mud depth. You just don't know too much ahead of time. I like KatyDid's Guide book on Rockhounding the Lower Yellowstone. Every find is so amazing, the best agates, jasper and petrified wood in the wood! Love all the colors, especially the yellows and blues!

* Glad you were rewarded for your hunt in the snow.. There were So many beautiful finds ~ Thanks for taking us along..
Thank you for watching 🥰
Montana's supply of petrified trees of agate, jasper and a mix of everything in between are fabulous. Every design is unique.
That black Montana agate is out of this world! Thanks for taking me along..

The color of those rocks you find, just amazes me. The Yellowstone River has to go on my bucket list of places to rockhound.
It surely satisfies my rock addiction. Makes it hard to go any where else!
Incredible finds if my adventures on the beach in the winter yielded your kind of results I would be jumping for joy. What a great video 😍
Holy jumpin' jaspers, Batman! For a day where you couldn't get to much material, you sure seemed to clean up out there! Those agates were insane!
0NCE AGAIN, THE MOST COLORFUL ROCKS ON THE YELLOWSTONE!!!
Amazing finds as always! Such cool patterns and colors..love it!

Palm wood is my favorite wood to find! It's not as common here. Isn't colorful petrified wood amazing? I bet your hand ax is stunning.
Those were some really stunning agates for sure. Pet da snow 🐕 4 me

He sounds like a linebacker, lol. I have a 190 pound Newfy at home too. He's too big for me to take out. Plus he's a bit lazy! I love dogs.
Definitely flashlight time!
That jasper at 11:30 is amazing!!!
It is fantastic! The Eyes 👀 are so cool around the banding! I'm going through an eye addiction right now, LoL.
That moss agate at 10:40 is awesome what a beautiful find.

The rocks are amazing….. but how many super models are there in Montana ?
I bet you got a slab saw or grinding wheels. Enjoyed it all. Nice going. Going to Tuscon for first time ,next week.

Zip lock water tip....you must have done that before huh!!!!
@@MontanaRockMom Not for hounding, but yes. Double bagging is always prudent. Best spot is an inner pocket, like the pouch of a sweatshirt.

Anne....everything is covered in snow or ice right now....
What you thought was banded chert I believe is petrified palm
I'm going to have to cut that one, I'm excited to see the inside!
Wow
Great finds!! Some beauties! Quick question, what kind of spray bottles and gloves do you use? Thank you so much!!
I put a link in my description for the spray bottle I use on Amazon...I'll add a link to the gloves!
Thank you! I will look now!
Is that just water you are spraying??? Nice finds!!!!
Just water... it's amazing how just water can bring out the best in a rock- just wish the water didn't dry up!
