I'm waiting, and I'm waiting for Samsonova to finally capitalise on her talent and go deep at a slam. She is one of the only players on tour whose serve and firepower from the back of the court rivals Rybakina and Sabalenka...if only she could be more consistent.

lol remember when Barbora was complaining about the big 3 and demanding that she deserved to be a part of it. That didn’t age too well for her.

When it's 5-4, and your serve, and you create 3 double-faults in a row and long on the next return, most would say quit. But that didn't happen Samsonava miraculously gets a huge break when Barbora goes long at match point. This match lacked " hutzpah!"

She got injured.. as you age, recovery will be much more difficult..
she was injured after Ao and lost to Samsonova in Abu dhabi. But from that time to now Barbara didn't win a match.😢😢

How is she the #5 seed now if she hasn't won anything ever since 2021? They can't just throw her back on top. Who is Samsonava? Its 2024 now she isn't quality material anymore.

Samsonova is the 5th seed, not Krejcikova, who's down to about 27 in the ranking right now. Samsonova is seeded 5th here in Strasbourg, but is ranked about 17 or 18 I think. Seeding varies per tournament depending on who enters the tournament. Krejcikova won two tournaments in '22 and two in '23. She was in four finals in '23. Not sure what you're talking about not winning anything. Who is "they" ? The players earn their ranks and seed on performance, and they go up and down accordingly. If you don't like a player just say so, but don't trash them because you don't understand how seeding works. It's lazy thinking.
