As far as I know, Portico are the only artists who permanently utilize the wonderful "space drum." I think this song is particularly moving....intellectual in a thought-provoking way...inspirational, positive, and loving. Sweet surrender.
I found them the same way. I'd heard snippets of them before, but never found out who they were until now with the help of SoundHound. Excellent stuff!
Absolutely amazing.. In love with this piece.. Out of 57k views tho, only 550 likes? No way, unless they were so entrances by it like a zombie just either hit repeat or went looking for more by them.. Truly amazing, I'm on listen number four, and just thought about like and comment myself, lol how I guessed that theory
+Julien M I thought it was Nick, who is playing the Hang, that left. He's doing really well for himself as a solo guitarist, plenty of his stuff on here. Search 'Nick Mulvey'.
Esta es mi banda favorita, gracias a mi novio… 💛 debo confesar que al escuchar en específico esta canción, sueño estar en alguna playa en algún sitio de UK, con mi novio y de fondo esta canción ✨💕
Hah no way I remember hearing Nick Mulvey for the first time around 5 years ago doing Fever to the Form on the Mahogany Sessions. I guess this was his jam from before that. Love this track, however it gets so 'jazzy' towards the end after intensely relaxing me for 2 mintues prior - it's a mindfuck!
All these years later, this song still makes me cry. This quartet, milo jack duncan nick, was a moment of beauty in time. I am glad for it.

try Hadouk trio-Hijazz
and other song from them
Brings me out in goose pimples. Fabulous.
Brilliant ♥️☕💐
I listened to this music first when listening to BBC's drama Curious Under the Stars. Have been haunted by it ever since, now I know who's made it.
I found them the same way. I'd heard snippets of them before, but never found out who they were until now with the help of SoundHound. Excellent stuff!
The weird thing about me is that I don’t even remember how I found them.
Destiny just popped the band in my path
Great magical drama too...fits perfectly
So easy to travel with this amazing piece... 🙏
OK avec tout le monde ! , ce morceau est SUBLIME ! ! ! ! !

This music is ethereal. I could listen to this all day.
Unique rhythms and melodic ambiance with great balance between the players.
This is just.. amazing. It takes you.. elsewhere. Oh my god..
this piece of music is so beautiful. beyond imagination.
Amazing
Good to hear saxophone voiced uniquely.

The hang drums are a beautiful novelty for music

calma todo lo malo, son excelentes
Inenarrable❤
Completely transporting.....
amo esta melodía...
One of their best performances.
Music saved my life so many times 🙏🙏
Why did you guys split :'(
This whole album is still the most transcendent music I've ever heard, thank you for posting this live man
what? did they really split up?
+Pata Liebre Yes, one of them Keir Vine (playing hang) left. They renamed Portico and it's more electronic music than jazz now
Julien M ouch! I've just found this band 2 days ago. Awesome work..
Thanks for the info!

Beautiful

Bello! No, Bellissimo!!!
Música ultra bella

Tune
I believe it's a soprano. They do typically come in the straight, clarinet-like shape, but you can get them in the traditional saxophone-curve.
Tanta roba..

Is there any full recording of this live ?

What else is it? It's a pentatonic steel drum.
Why that white noise?
What type of sax is that? Looks like a mini alto
Novelty... charming :-P
what kind of sax is that? I always assumed he played soprano from his sound.
+Kevin Smith thats a soprano, you normally see straight ones tho
It just don't get going......
Very transcendant music, but I think the sax should give a little more space to other musicians... Just my own feeling...
Saxo alto ?
goregous

As good as Cinematic Orchestra, the next in line.
refernce to dissolve me by alt-j? or vice versa?
I heard somewhere that alt-j spoke about this album being one of the main influences for alt-js existence. don't know if it is true though …
And a violin is a tiny guitar
musique reposante.
