Dude was projecting to get some heat off his back. Gravure bikini models are often teenagers. Gravure is an expansion of the idol industry, which infamously exploits teenagers (i.e. actual people, not fictional drawings on paper), totally sexualising them.
I'm slowly becoming numb to this (fake) outrage coming from individuals that probably want to seek attention. (This numbness scares me a little.) So much so that I'm getting the impression that they're probably denying/rejecting human nature. One doesn't have to like certain types of genre and themes in Japanese entertainment, but one can't deny that loli, shota and mow are indeed a core part of anime and manga culture. They're part of the their foundation. I have no problem if Japan wants to continue using anime and manga characters to e.g. promote tourism. They help Japan to stand out from the rest of the world.
This rapper must have the largest loli collection on the planet. Instead of deflecting, he should just open a museum.

@@kylegraham3192 I like how people accept shortstack as a body type (which to be fair was a thing in the west before anime) but not loli. It's a bit weird.
I guess shortstack became a thing because petite typically included being flat. So shortstack came around to mean short and curvy instead of short and dainty. (Although I've seen it being used to also describe people who are just short for their age as well.)
But I don't get why (short+flat+young looking = loli) petite+young looking = loli is such a difficult concept to grasp when we have. Short+flat = petite, and short+curvy = shortstack.
Is it one step too much for people? Either way if you don't like it then you don't have to, but refusing to acknowledge what it actually is, is quite sad. Why do people want it to be the worst thing they can imagine instead of a simple definition?
@@HyattHyatt3179 because the association between loli and lolicon, and misadry, There is less controversy surrounding shota. Anything specifically toward men will attract more hate from both genders.
You can see how men don't go into women space and scream "bad female gaze" or when men read superhero comic they don't say something like "this is unrealistic expectation of male body" "why are they sexualizing men?"
But there are men that will do anything to win cookie points from women, men that want to police other men because they feel guilty for having big space, or autistics and minors whose brain isn't fully developed yet.
Some mixed thoughts. On one hand, that could possibly mean anime characters that actually look like adults could be making a comeback, but at the same time, fiction is still very fiction and ain't done shit beyond simple enterrainment.

Honestly and quite truthfully I feel nothing would be lost if Japan wanted to do away with Loli’s, I always did find it kind of weird and odd when they were always in fanservice Anime’s from time to time but I just ignored them, I’m all for the busty and older characters anyway I mean as long as they don’t get rid of characters like that in Anime I’m all good.
