creepy long D If you are buying such a expensive marker, one would already know to get a Rotor, Spire or SL v2 reg. Please don't tell me this is your first marker...
You don't need to waste your money on a whole barrel kit. A freaked barrel with one or two small bore inserts will do. A 68/4500 tank and a 200 round loader? Meh. If you're playing pump and shooting 50 rounds a game, why have all that extra weight on your gun? For easier snap-shooting, use a 50 round hopper and a small air tank or a CO2 tank...or if you're feeling brave enough, try a 12 gram and stick feed setup. And if you're putting a Rotor on a pump, you're doing it wrong.
Building your own sniper is definitely a great experience to have. just seeing it working to it's potential is a great feeling! I had a ccm 6.5 before but sold it before I knew how good it was. Now can't wait to get another one for keeps!
I don't mind the 68/4500 because when I was using my cocker normally I slapped a WGP tornado drop and on/off. Makes it the perfect length and balanced the weight better. When I changed it over to pump smaller tanks didn't have that same feel so I went back to the drop and 68/4500. I still use my revy, but the up side is I don't have to waste a battery since I don't need the motor to run to feed paintballs. Did I need it no, however, I used it because the weight, and balance was what I had been used to.
The problem is there's a dearth of viable options for a 68/4500. A steel 48/3000 tank is actually heavier, a 13ci is a tad small... When I started, pump is what people started with because it was cheap. Now you can get a basic blowback semi or even budget electro cheaper than a new pump (ignoring the plastic WalMart crap). I find that people playing pump are actually older, experienced players who just want to take it easy. They already tend to have lots of gear. You don't put a rotor on a pump because it needs one. You put it there because you already have one and don't want to buy another loader just for the pump.
I use a .685 cp one piece on my autococker (semi auto, but it's the same idea) and it works great from what I've shot from it. Cheap barrels being in the $30-$40 price range and they are solid. The one piece barrels only go as small as .685 but you can get a 2 piece cp barrel for $60 with a smaller back.
You don't need to have a small bore size if you pump then shoot...if you pump wait then shoot or pump then run you would get ball drop but if you pump aim shoot you don't need to worry about bore size.
i played all day on jan 1 and my field had 1/2 off on 1 case so i bought 2 cases and played all day and still only used a bag and a half, iv been considering buying a system x dragon body and make my own autococker pump
I'm getting the kp3 and it depends if u have a lot of money for paint the get a electro but if ur a budget baller then get the kp3 and do u want to play pump or electronic
Why do you call it an auto-cocker pump if it doesn't auto-cock? That's a Sniper2. A mini-cocker would make it a Sniper3. I own an early Sniper 2, made before the auto-cocker was even available.
Mind you, nice guns. Love the wooden grips, I would love a set of those for mine. I run my Sniper un-regged with HP Palmers internals for 12g efficiency. With a bit of tweaking I can get 40 good shots when set at about 275-280 fps. Finding the best paint is what makes the difference. My Trracer gets 50+ shots totally stock, set at the same fps. I also own an early Unibody Phantom, but find it a bit light without a stock and two long with one. Sterlings are nice to play with and so is the SL68II in the woods. That's one indestructable marker!
I'm a 14 year old and I just started really getting into going to play paintball every weekend I have a dye 2011 pmr and right when I got it the reg was not working so I'm going to get a new gun what do you suggest speedball guns only
I bight the hammer 7 for $56 on Amazon, I fully polished all the internals and did some mods to the grip frames and mad well and also put a better barrle on it and I love it! Every pump weekend I use a 13/3000 and app 50 and that's all I need. Rn I'm working on a custom cocker but I disagree with your opinion that the hammer 7 is a piece of shit and for $60 in 2016 you can't go wrong
lol i never had anyone show me how to do Autococker stuff you don't need anyone to show you unless you're useless. and setting up a pump cockers is super easy, mech cokers a bit harder but still
Purely stock the phantom should run better on the cartridges. With some tuning you could get the Empire or another cocker based pump to run more efficient on the cartridges.
***** watch for guys who have the lone wolf logos on their jerseys. Can't miss them, they will be all over. They can take you to us. Either that or look for me. I'll be all over dressed in some bright ass neon clothing with a huge camera. I'll be the biggest target on the field. You'll be able to fine me really quick haha -Jake
Team Insanity Paintball Awesome! I'll definitely try to spot you. If I'm wearing my mask when I come up to you, its a Dye I4 with a Bronze Fire (Mirror Red) Lens. Hope to see you guys there!
15:15 That seems incorrect. You can find a video on how to build an autococker pump, which is very easy. The only thing that may not be so easy is tuning and timing (for auto trigger)
Building a pump isn't hard just use common sense maybe the reg and the bottom tube might be hard but you can just search for instructions on the Internet
How cheap? You can pick up a used phantom for around $150. You can build you own autococker pump for under $200. The Azodin is definitely not all it's cracked up to be.
+Mand'alor Price range would be about $250. I'm very keen on stripping a gun and whatnot so I would just be looking for a nice beginner pump that would be able to still use along time from now.
I would say get a phantom. After having both the phantoms are easier to maintain, not to mention you can switch the body rather quickly and go between stock class and open class. There is a reason CCI has been around a long time and not had to make any really big changes.
It would be very much appreciated if u could give me a gun I cant really get one right now but if you could and im not some kid just asking for one just to get one mine broke and my parents don't really have the money to get me one I know im not the only kid who really supports your channel but I get up and the first thing I do is wake up fix cereal and watch all your videos you guys are the best but if you could giveaway me a gun I would be so happy it would make my day and thanks for putting a smile on my face everyday.
This got me so pumped
Ahhhhhhhh I see what you did this time. punny punny

***** the dragon pump you have looks amazing.
jericho ryanisck
Thanks man! Was definitely fun to build :)
Dang jake so precise "there is a million and five options"
If you need a rotor and a 68/4500 I don't think pump is for you...
I don't mind the 68/4500 because when I was using my cocker normally I slapped a WGP tornado drop and on/off. Makes it the perfect length and balanced the weight better. No deficit paintball already did that

is the kp3 good
You don't need to have a small bore size if you pump then shoot...if you pump wait then shoot or pump then run you would get ball drop but if you pump aim shoot you don't need to worry about bore size.
Or underbore with a decent barrel and get better consistency, better efficiency, and not worry about rollouts or pumping and immediately shooting
is an azodin kp a good starter pump?
Aka paintball still makes the sidewinder reg, it’s on there website
Do a paintball barrel video like what to buy and what not to buy
Hopper show is next then maybe barrel show
-Jake
i played all day on jan 1 and my field had 1/2 off on 1 case so i bought 2 cases and played all day and still only used a bag and a half, iv been considering buying a system x dragon body and make my own autococker pump
Hey would you reccomend the KP3 or the
Kaos 3 or do you not know yet? I am looking into buying some gear and they seem like some decent starter guns.
I'm getting the kp3 and it depends if u have a lot of money for paint the get a electro but if ur a budget baller then get the kp3 and do u want to play pump or electronic

I'm a 14 year old and I just started really getting into going to play paintball every weekend I have a dye 2011 pmr and right when I got it the reg was not working so I'm going to get a new gun what do you suggest speedball guns only
Get a new reg or get a shocker or a axe or a Dangerous or a Etek or a dye or a empire or a hk army gun

Yah definitely, you save a fuck ton of money and you don't go through paintballs at all which is nice
Brett Marshall No....
What do you think about the techt i fit barrel kit?
lol i never had anyone show me how to do Autococker stuff you don't need anyone to show you unless you're useless. and setting up a pump cockers is super easy, mech cokers a bit harder but still
jake what gear should I get if im playing pump
O ik u should do a video of the paintball bow and arrow, I hav one if u want to barrow it
Hey jake I have a question would you rather buy an empire sniper or a phantom running on co2 cartridges
Purely stock the phantom should run better on the cartridges. With some tuning you could get the Empire or another cocker based pump to run more efficient on the cartridges.

15:15 That seems incorrect. You can find a video on how to build an autococker pump, which is very easy. The only thing that may not be so easy is tuning and timing (for auto trigger)
