I theorize the patriots rebranded for worse but it was to move away from the past and do a “post brady era” rebrand but yea they should go back to the brady era jerseys their more historic
As a rams fan, I’m surprised you ranked the new uniforms so high. Personally I‘ve gotten used to the home and alternate jerseys. Those are just OK. But the bone greys are hideous.
This was a list that was so close to mine it’s crazy! I always got annoyed with the people who would rank uniforms high because of the history. If the uniform is ugly it’s ugly no matter how much history it has. Great video!
As a Rams fan, I'm surprised we made top 10. Our Bone is terrible. Horns are small on the shoulders and gradient numbers are terrible. You know some hipster college graduate that never watched the team definitely designed our uniforms
My top five in no particular order: 1) Lions -- I'm glad you specifically called out Detroit's silver-on-blue set at 8:31 because I'd consider that the slickest look in the league right now. 2) 49ers -- that red and gold is a timeless combo and an iconic look 3) Saints -- I love that they never mess with success; it's always been just black and old-gold with a simple, immediately recognizable, and locally relevant logo 4) Chargers -- but specifically the powder blue shirt and yellow pants combo 5) Packers -- especially the alternate yellow-on-green ones that you mentioned but the default look is tight as well My Eagles are definitely top 10, they have a great and unique look -- the only changes I would make would be (a) nudge the midnight green a few shades toward green and away from teal, and (b) use a more traditional font for the numbers and nameplates. An innovative color scheme plus a classic typeface is a winning combo imho
Bro Seattle looks like something I created in Madden back in 2002🤣. I legit think if you pull out those old games, you can make a team with their modern look
i'm honestly surprised the Cards unis aren't 32.. I know this came out before our new ones and those old ones we rocked for 20 years were horible.. what is your opinion on the new ones? the home jerseys in my opinion were a huge let down, but the all white aways are freaking amazing..
Couldn’t agree more with a bengles at 1 I think the best helmet in the NFL, the best color rush, best alternate and best home jersey But chargers at 2 is bad they need to go navy blue that’s what looks good with a lightning bolt
Great list! I don’t agree with everything on the list (especially the top 10) but I love how unbiased it is. Also thanks for giving the Eagles some love!
As a diehard falcons fan I agree I hate the new uniforms. Our previous were so much better but I will say out throwbacks are some of the best in the league. Especially the red helmets
For me, some of the best uniforms that come to mind are the Giants, Raiders, Buccaneers, 49ers and Bengals. I'd personally be interested in seeing you rank NFL logos, if you haven't already.
And lastly...My top 16 uniforms excluding alternate helmets, color rush, etc. This is in no particular order. Just a top 16 . 1. Las Vegas Raiders It's not too much of anything and it's intimidating as well. They never fixed it because it never breaks. 2. Kansas City Chiefs : Virtually unchanged since the 1960's because all of it works. 3. L.A. Chargers : Sometimes looking back let's you step forward with a modern tweak and unlike the L.A. Yams...they pulled it off wonderfully. 4. Chicago Bears : It's very simple and to the point. It's a tried and true look that's classic and recognizable. 5. Green Bay Packers : (see Chicago Bears) 6. Indianapolis Colts : Going back to their jersey number font from the Unitas era elevated their look from great to great-er. 7. Buffalo Bills : Another team goes back to move forward and it's the total package for 'em. 8. Jacksonville Jaguars : The look is exactly what it needs to be. Basic it is, but basic is not always a bad thing. Love the black helmets. 9. New Orleans Saints : Black n Gold always worked for them. I wish they'd return to the gold pants for the home uniform. The all-black looks like they're wearing leotards for an interpretive dance performance at the Hollywood Bowl. 10. New York Giants : The New York Jets need to take notes (not copy) of how the Giants handled there uniforms. The "NY" is as revered as the "GIANTS" helmet logo. Home. Road. It all makes a statement. 11. Minnesota Vikings : This was a clear improvement from the gaudy Favre-era uniforms previously. However I would have preferred that the road uniform look more like the classic road uniform. 12. San Francisco 49ers : The Red n Gold is beautifully bold. 13. Dallas Cowboys : I don't like the Cowboys but that helmet, that traditional home uniform is historic. I'd like to see them return to their original blue jersey from the Staubach era. The one they use currently is to gaudy. The star emblem is way overused. 14. Cincinnati Bengals : Fantastic helmet, and the regular uniforms, aside from the zebras are awesome. Black and orange reminds me of Halloween, my favorite time of the year. 15. Cleveland Browns : My comments about Chicago apply here. It's what I call the Jim Brown uniform. And if it was good enough for Jim Brown then it's perfect for the Browns of today. 16. Baltimore Ravens : This look is as it should be though I'd prefer a black home jersey as the regular look. The helmet logo, the shield trademark makes everything look regal.
I’m a Packers fan but id probably put them around 10 or so. I’m also looking forward to seeing the Bucs creamsicles, I loved the originals. My top 3 are: 1. Bengals (orange tops) 2. Chargers (all navy) 3. Panthers (all black)
There’s no way u think 49ers uniforms are #4 😂 most hideous color ways ever. However the all white bengals uniforms with the white helmets is my favorite uniform ever
Haha respect! I personally really enjoy the colorway of the niners uniforms, but one thing everybody can agree on are the beauty of the Bengals' uniforms!
I love old school uniforms that don't change and are very traditional. Whenever I turn on the TV and see those Packers uniforms I just feel so cozy. Honorable mentions would be Steelers and Chiefs and Bears.
As a Dallas I'm jealous of the Commanders for having the nicest jerseys. Not jealous of the way they operate but our uniforms are just so bland, I'm not even a huge fan of the throwback jerseys, the color rush is basically just our standard away jerseys that we actually also wear for home games 😂
Dallas won't change cause it's iCoNiC. It's 2023, just give Dallas fans an updated alternate uniform. Can't do a throwback cause nothing changes lmao. And this is coming from an eagles fan 🤣
The Cowboys uniforms are just fine. The original white uniforms look like crap along with the stupid white helmets. The real winning uniforms are what they usually wear with the white jerseys. The white color rush uniforms are throwbacks as in throw them back into the trash
@@Beezle66Dallas needs to bring back the serif numbers with the plain block nameplate, re-darken the gray pants (way too light nowadays)...and, uh oh, revive the royal "bad luck" blue jerseys which they dumped after losing to Philly in the 1980 NFC title game.
The Commanders have one of the best helmets, for real. I love the matte red. It's not as good as the Vikings matte purple, but otherwise their uniforms are just as uninspired as the Cowboys lol
My cowboys have the best uniforms in the history of the NFL white on blue just works and hell even the Navy Blue and Silver is top tier but our 1995 jerseys are simply undefeated
Simplistic designs are the best. Uniforms need to be simple and aesthetically pleasing. Old isn't necessarily always good, but some people act like "new" is always better. The Packers, Colts, Chiefs, Raiders, 49ers, Bears, Bills, Cowboys, Saints, Browns, Steelers, Giants have all done it correctly. The only "new" uniforms that are any good are the Chargers and Bengals. Simple tweaks that honor a classic look. The trend to "alternate black" uniforms just makes everyone look like the Atlanta Falcons.
I feel like the only person on the planet that prefered the previous shade of green for the Jets without the metallic sheen helmets and the classic style uniforms.
Personally as a Titans fan I don't think their jerseys get near enough love. I do think now that the 5 years is up (I do believe) a number font change might put them over the top but I would be lying if I didn't think there are a few teams slightly ahead. The second best thing the Bills have done in the last decade was draft Josh Allen. The best thing was redoing their uniforms from that horrible eyesore they called their uniforms. I don't quite know what it is that is different from every other team but theirs just pops off the screen. They are as perfect as is likely possible in the NFL. There are a handful of teams who the idea of them ever changing seems ludicrous as they are as good as they get. #2 in my book has to go with the Bears. They may not jump out at you off of the screen as much as the Bills but they are so good. I think above all else it is their number font that really sets them apart. #3 & #4 are less cut and dry. With the 49'ers and Dolphins. If were talking helmets the Cowboys and surprisingly the Giants would likely be right in there but as far as uniforms despite looking good the constant "road" unis brings them down. No matter what the truth is behind the reasoning for wearing white at home it is just boring. So I think I have to go with my guys at #5. The Titans use of a sword as it's helmet stripe and even more uniquely their shoulder details was a stroke of genius and looks great (especially with their navy blues). The small showing of it on the pants maybe could be done better. I do think the teams that go against the norm and use color schemes that are rare in sports deserve credit. Teams like the Saints & Dolphins whom both have a unique color palette and look good to teams that maybe just have the unique colors that could be better (like the Vikings, Panthers or Falcons). When it comes to the worst uniforms in the NFL I'm sorry the Colts and Cardinals suck and are so boring. The Patriots, Bucs and Jaguars have all fixed what would have been towards the very bottom but are still a long way from the top half. Although when the Seahawks unis first came out I thought they were without a doubt the worst I have ever seen. They looked like a Major League Soccer uniform but either they changed them slightly or they have grown on me.
I actually quite like the commanders and prefer them over a majority of the ones on this list despite the terrible name/logo. I guess you could say they are a bit safe and don't stand out too much. Probably one of my all time favorite would be the white Bengal one.
Very different opinion than yourself, love the Jets all black stealth… to me they are the sickest! I’m a Lions fan and i appreciate you putting us in the top 10 ill just throw that out there. Given this video is 9 months old now id be curious to see an updated version.
@@MrSeahawk113 Honestly I think the red should become their main jersey. Like how Atlanta was using black with a red alternate, but by the time Matt Ryan came in the red alternates had become their main jerseys. They just looked better. Not to mention, we have a lot of blue uniforms lol. I like blue, don't get me wrong, but how many navy blue jerseys can we have before it becomes ridiculous?
The all black bengals uniform is the best in the NFL their helmet is the best in the NFL as well but the only good Chargers uniform is the navy, I hate that there is a stupid number on their white helmet which should be navy blue. you see a lightning bolt when it’s dark out Btw I’m pretty sure it’s a snow tiger not albino which is sick
Falcons used to be one of my favorite uniforms back in the Reebook era, Nike just ruined them. Kinda the same with the Bengals, they aren't ruined and they definitely have some nice variations now, but their standard uniform was way more creative back in the Reebook era. Also, i fkn hate the Patriots, but at this point their old uniform is just too classic. I hate that "america's team" bs, but those looked like THE americas team uniforms. Now they are so simple they just look like high-school uniforms
My top 4 current NFL Jerseys in no particular order are: Chargers' Powder Blue Cardinals' Black Out Dolphins' Throwback Panthers' Blue Jersey and White Pants Alternative
#27 the Cardinals jerseys is this before they changed their jerseys this year. Because they changed them this year and well, It looks like a College Team. Not a professional team that we are familiar with. With that they should be lower on this list like #32. Yes the Browns jerseys are better.
Tough to say, I actually like the whiter pants we see today, but I do think I prefer the grey pants from then, so they probably would've moved up 1-2 spots on the list!
Bengals uniforms are pretty awful. The tiger striping should only be on the helmet. The only uniform I have respect for are the white outs but with the orange helmet. Bengals can truly make their uniforms look great if they wanted to, but for now they look clownish.
I still prefer how the number fonts looked on the SAN DIEGO chargers rather than how they look now on the LOS ANGELES chargers. They look like those ugly numbers you see on the scoreboard on newer madden games.
The NFL has LOWERED it's standards when it comes to uniforms since the '90s. When the Steelers redesigned their numbers it was really sad to see. Other teams followed the trend. A mega $$$ league should and it's teams should represent AND overall pro-sports has gone all to HELL FROM TOP TO BOTTOM!!!!
Definitely agree about the Uniform standard lowering, however I feel like they're taking a step in the right direction by re-introducing the classic throwbacks, such as the Titans Oiler uniform, the Eagles Kelly Greens, etc. That being said, I hate how sports is trending towards the simplified uniforms era. We see teams like the Cardinals and Jazz using this and it look atrocious.

No bias, but as a saints fan my black and gold home jerseys is #3
I have to say the new rams jerseys have grown on me. Bengals #1 is spot on.

Bro the “white bengal” imo could be number one with the white helmet its so clean
THAT'S RACIST!
Too bad they’ll never win the Super Bowl. The NFL has always scripted them to be losers and that’s all they’ll ever be.

My top five in no particular order:
1) Lions -- I'm glad you specifically called out Detroit's silver-on-blue set at 8:31 because I'd consider that the slickest look in the league right now.
2) 49ers -- that red and gold is a timeless combo and an iconic look
3) Saints -- I love that they never mess with success; it's always been just black and old-gold with a simple, immediately recognizable, and locally relevant logo
4) Chargers -- but specifically the powder blue shirt and yellow pants combo
5) Packers -- especially the alternate yellow-on-green ones that you mentioned but the default look is tight as well
My Eagles are definitely top 10, they have a great and unique look -- the only changes I would make would be (a) nudge the midnight green a few shades toward green and away from teal, and (b) use a more traditional font for the numbers and nameplates. The battle red Texans jersey is sick, definitely should have been ranked higher

Also Heaps: *puts Raiders at #8*
ur patriots occasionally match their navy jerseys with silver pants but i’m with you that they should move back to that full-time
Definitely, the silver pants are so much nicer to look at
Very interesting reasoning and picks for your fav jerseys
The cowboys home navy shirt is so fresh 💯 it goes well with silver 👌
Honestly this is a very good list, no bias but I would put the saints black and gold jerseys at #3
I agree with #1 and #2, but a lot I don't. You nailed the top though.
Great vid. I agree with most of it which is surprising. Well done!
Glad you enjoyed!
R.I.P This Man Said Black & Yellow & Green & Yellow....
Very different opinion than yourself, love the Jets all black stealth… to me they are the sickest! I’m a Lions fan and i appreciate you putting us in the top 10 ill just throw that out there. Given this video is 9 months old now id be curious to see an updated version.
An updated version is definitely on my to-do list! Glad you enjoyed!
Am I the only one who likes the Texans Red Jerseys
I love the red jerseys
@@bwestacado9643 same
@@MrSeahawk113 Honestly I think the red should become their main jersey.
The all black bengals uniform is the best in the NFL their helmet is the best in the NFL as well but the only good Chargers uniform is the navy, I hate that there is a stupid number on their white helmet which should be navy blue. you see a lightning bolt when it’s dark out
Btw I’m pretty sure it’s a snow tiger not albino which is sick
Falcons used to be one of my favorite uniforms back in the Reebook era, Nike just ruined them.
Kinda the same with the Bengals, they aren't ruined and they definitely have some nice variations now, but their standard uniform was way more creative back in the Reebook era.
Also, i fkn hate the Patriots, but at this point their old uniform is just too classic. I hate that "america's team" bs, but those looked like THE americas team uniforms. Now they are so simple they just look like high-school uniforms
If the Texans brought back the battle red pants to go with the Helmets that’d be one of the cleanest Uniforms in the League
The Seahawks have the best Jerseys in probably all sports to be honest
My top 4 current NFL Jerseys in no particular order are:
Chargers' Powder Blue
Cardinals' Black Out
Dolphins' Throwback
Panthers' Blue Jersey and White Pants Alternative
Dolphins are definitely up there
Finally someone who likes the Rams new uniforms but I do agree that our bone jerseys look hideous
I started follow NFL since 2017, here in Brazil. I was heavily impacted by the Bengals visual. So I became a Bengals fan since then! WHO DEY!
Obrigado por assistir meu vídeo!
I love Brazil!
@@HeapsYT Thanks man! Be welcome!!
Falcons are so basic, and Seahawks? Nooooo
I don’t know why but I seem to like the jags and the browns jersey at a higher ranking I think it’s because they are the only teams with those colors
#27 the Cardinals jerseys is this before they changed their jerseys this year. Because they changed them this year and well, It looks like a College Team. Not a professional team that we are familiar with. With that they should be lower on this list like #32.
Yes the Browns jerseys are better.
Awesome list
Glad you enjoyed!
As a Browns fan, I kinda expected the browns to be dead last.
9:03 personally that and their current away jerseys I ❤
My top 5 are
1. San Francisco 49ers
2. Cincinnati Bengals
3. Jacksonville Jaguars
4. New Orleans Saints
5. Miami Dolphins
I dig this list!
As a 49ers fan, I can't knock this list lol
I’m late to this but dolphins jersey is the most unique I feel like and I like it a lot tbh the colors are unique compared to every other jersey
Raiders and Saints are always the most iconic. Imo...
Great video you should do mlb nba or nhl next. You just got a new subscriber
SEAHAWKS #1 and by a mile. Even if they revert back to their retro uniforms, they're STILL #1 -- Modern or retro.
Their throwbacks are sooooo clean too
Someone start and underrated chant for this man

as a panthers fan I am sad that we keep loosing but at least we are doing it in style
You guys do look nice haha!
Do a new video now since Houston released their new amazing uniforms🔥🤘
1. Raiders 2. 49ers 3. Ravens. 4. Old Eagles 5. Old Cardinals
W Ranking
First thing I thought of when I saw the white bengals jersey was a zebra😂
Would you have rated the Giants jersey kits higher if they brought back their grey pants home/away combination from 2005-2011?
Tough to say, I actually like the whiter pants we see today, but I do think I prefer the grey pants from then, so they probably would've moved up 1-2 spots on the list!
For me best to worst it’s Panthers, Bengals, Chargers then big gap everyone else then big gap Cardinals, Falcons, Browns
Finally some love for the falcons unis
Rams any higher than 32 automatically delegitimizes any list
Cowboys white are terrible with the boring grey helmet. Most overrated.
The Jets, patriots, and Buccaneers Uniforms are way too low on this list imo
i like most of this list but having the bears and the dolphins at the bottom is criminal.
Fair! Glad you enjoyed most of it!
I think that’s a solid list
Bengals uniforms are pretty awful. The tiger striping should only be on the helmet. The only uniform I have respect for are the white outs but with the orange helmet. Bengals can truly make their uniforms look great if they wanted to, but for now they look clownish.
the clevland browns jeresys are underrated way better than the colts and greenbay packers i love it when they wear brown/orange
I still prefer how the number fonts looked on the SAN DIEGO chargers rather than how they look now on the LOS ANGELES chargers. They look like those ugly numbers you see on the scoreboard on newer madden games.
Chargers navy is cursed, never won in those jerseys
Still my favorite uniform of the bunch. They're gonna win one eventually
@@mawile2468 hopefully, this team gives me sm pain bro
Stopped listening after you listed the Steelers at #19 lol fun video!
