Just watched these guys at the house of blues. I had never heard of them before and quite frankly, they impressed the hell out of me. They definitely have a new fan!
Riiight?! It's insane to me that they are not bigger! This song makes me cry EVERY fucking time. That last line "I wish you were here...yeah...that's all" just... every fucking time.
@@dgates6165 This is probably their most accessible song on an otherwise really challenging and musically dexterous album. You rarely get big by being musically challenging these days
@@karledwards1671 I promote them and show them to people ALL the time actually. No, I'm not setting the world on fire with my wild success lol but I wouldn't consider myself a lazy fan by any means.
Saw them in 2019 in the basement of a bar in Cincinnati. Like 100 people there. Blew the doors off the place. Fuckin amazing. Listener opened and was equally as amazing.
This song is very beautiful. It's definitely a tear jerker if you listen to it enough times. Thank you, Josh and Nikko for being a defining band for me. Much Love!
... sad song that I wrooooOOOOOOOOOO00000000TE ... that's what hooked me on the first listen, made me listen again and got me into the band. Sometimes it's just a small detail, some perfect little moment in a song that makes all the difference ... :).

I'd rather burn out than to fade away" feels like a reference to kurt cobain i think. kurt wrote that on his suicide note. i believe josh was channeling kurt for this one.
This music sounds the most lived through. It sounds more true than the chariot and I love the chariot! These two guys accomplish the feel a full band tries and often fumbles with. My hats off to them!
I saw y'all for the first time at the Worcester Palladium. Never heard of y'all before, but I was instantly enraptured by the first song and the passion from the fans. I've rarely been this delighted by an opener but I'm glad to say I picked up a copy of double viper and a shirt and plan to listen to y'all more
@@0ffaI Firstly, I don't think anything Josh has done could be considered garbage. Secondly, I'm fairly certain if it was about the money he would have stuck with Norma Jean...
I’ve seen Josh live in Norma Jean, The Chariot, A Rose By Any Other Name, and soon, 68’.
Legendary song writer for sure.
So, sometimes you really can discover something on the Spotify's Discover Weekly. This is pure gold.
1 year later and i literally just found this song through Discover Weekly a couple of minutes ago

Hands down my favourite band. I regularly shout to myself while blasting ‘68 in my car while getting looks of approval
Adam I do the same 👊
this is an insanely good song, from an insanely talented band.
These guys put on a great concert. Have seen them twice at louder than life. Love these guys

And without any words I can hear your name

I laid it out on the radio
Oh how I wish you could say
"Well done" to me

This song got me while I was going thru a break up with my kids mom. She cheated on me with my best friend. this shit speaks chapters to that scenerio
Masterpiece
Through all the Chariot years, this sounds the most soulful........!
It sounds the most lived, the most real!

Same here! Saw them open for Chiodos at the Palladium. Lost my fucking mind when they did Touretts by Nirvana.
Been a fan ever since!
Love the effects, the song, and most anything that Mr. Scogin creates! Fine job and thanks for keeping me entertained!
Still in awe from the show you played in Berlin in 2016. Come back with a new album and tear everything apart again please!
Quite the transition from The Chariot to 68, both awesome bands.
Tyler Lynch don’t forget Norma Jean!
@@xstrikegentlyx5716 No, don't forget Luti-Kriss ... Body of God and Patiently Philadelphia are such awesome songs!
This song sounds like if Nirvana had a next album. Incredible.
I'm glad you said this because that's the vibe I got when I first heard it.
This is one of the best videos you've ever done.
Band should be called '92 with this sound.

You ARE the man Josh! Had a great time seeing you in Chicago over the winter!!! Can't wait to see '68 again soon!!!

really neat video idea! love the aesthetic! Great job Josh!
A suitably "68" video indeed
Been waiting for a video for this. So good.

I just saw you guys at The Signal in Chatt. You guys are definitely a band you can feel
Спасибо!
The first album was so good.... miss the rock. There’s so few people doing it right.
When I first heard this, I thought it was a major hit from a huge 70s band
Freaking awesome

I know it will be a little exaggeration but I would like to spend my life with someone who loves this song.
I just saw u guys in El Paso u guys put on an awesome show which u would’ve played longer
Instead of all the sad songs that I wrote, I wish you were here.
This is good, Josh should sing more, it’s something a little different than what he usually does; (scream).
But he screams with SUCH passion and it is unmatched. I like his singing a lot, but I could never get sick of his screaming!
You have a kurt cobain sound about you. (This is a high compliment)
