how well do the front pieces stay in after you cut all the brackets off? really wanted this but dont like the ideal of all the cutting

Is the splitter used in the film the carbon one or the cheaper one? Also I notice you push on the edge trim at the end, if you opt for end plates do they screw down onto the trim or do you cut the trim to the edge of the end plate?
