@@mikeehrmantraut1899 Tetra is the kind of guy that makes you want to play the game because you've seen how much he slipped up and made you think "bet i could do it better. watch me"
This is one of the coolest games I've ever played in my life. I've played it dozens of times and I swear it never once bored me. I'm glad I grew up in the heyday of these platforming masterpieces. Nowadays I still play the whole trilogy like 2-3 times a year (I do the same thing with the J&D and R&C trilogies). Every time I finish Sly 3, I feel sad, while every time I replay it, I feel as happy as if I won the lottery. I am deeply sorry for all those who have never played this legendary series (this, along with Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank), you missed perfect and immortal masterpieces.
The Great Cry of Humanity When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape. -1 Thessalonians 5:3 Everyone wants peace today, and in some cases, they want peace more than they want justice. They want peace more than they want what is right. They just want peace and safety. It’s the great cry of humanity that we hear so much about today. There is talk about the global family and how the world is one, big village. The assertion is that we all just need to learn to get along and set aside our differences. It seems as though the only thing lacking now is a charismatic leader to tell us what to do next. With the incredible advances in technology and the ability to communicate globally in an instant, the world is just waiting for that leader. And that leader is coming. Some will think he is the Messiah, but he won’t be. He will be the Antichrist. The prefix anti- not only means “against”; it also means “instead of.” And when this world leader emerges on the scene, he will be a false messiah, the devil’s version of the real thing. Many people will follow him because he will temporarily usher in a three-and-a-half-year reign of global peace, something no one else has been able to do. He will bring about an end, temporarily, to the conflict in Israel as he helps them build their temple in Jerusalem. Yet those who believe we can get along as one global family and live together in peace are those who believe humanity is essentially good. And they are not dealing with reality. That is why the Bible tells us to be sober. In 1 Peter 5:8 we read, “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour” And writing to the believers in Ephesus, the apostle Paul said, “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days” (Ephesians 5:15-16) Nonbelievers claim that Christians are not realists, that we’re living in an altered state of reality. But we are realists, more than anyone else today. A Christian is someone who simply believes what the Bible is saying. And the Bible tells us that humanity is not basically good; it’s wicked. That explains a lot of the horrid, perverse, and unthinkable things that people do today. When the Bible says that at the core, our hearts are “desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9), everything makes sense. On the other hand, if someone believes that we are all essentially good, that is hard to explain. Not only are Christians realistic about our problems, but we’re also realistic about the solution. We know that government will not solve our problems and there is no system on earth that can solve the social ills of today. We know the only real hope is a change in the human heart. And the only One who can change a human heart is God.
Honestly like Sly just talking to Bentley at 59:15 is such a fun little thing because like theyre not just a team. Theyre still best buds and theyre bound to talk about random shit like that lol
I hear ya man. I’ve yet to play Thieves in Time (or I could just watch the walkthrough videos), but sometimes I wish the Sly Cooper games were left alone at just 3 games. I mean, Honor Among Thieves was the perfect conclusion to the saga of the Cooper Gang! AND Penelope the mouse ever turning villain would have been all but nonexistent had the games been left as a trilogy.
*Spoilers Murray rescuing the van is one of my all time favorite gaming moments. It’s been with us for just as long as the original crew, so to lose it at the end of Sly 2 really broke my heart. I lit up as a kid when Murray sees it again, like literally seeing and old friend! Murray’s words really did touch me, and I’m so glad they reached Panda King too! (Who is also from the first game) It really is a well contained and satisfying arc for what felt like the end of the Sly series at the time.

Love all the new game features they added in this game. Dialogue options, analog stick picklocking, sly wearing disguises, bentley and murray both being able to pickpocket, driving around the RC on multiple levels, BEING ABLE TO PLAY AS CARMELITA, the list goes on and on. Sucker Punch, how I wish you guys were able to give us Sly 4.
It’s pretty damn hard and unlike the other games. There’s no health bar. You get hit you die. The enemies are one hit kill too. It’s stealth and dodging and lots of trial and error
Your play throughout the game is absolutely engaging. It adds so much fun. The gameplay really good. Can't wait to see how you'll tackle the next level. Keep those gameplays coming! this video has been an absolute joy to watch. Your passion for gaming shines through, and it's evident that you put a lot of effort into creating high-quality content. I'm excited to see what you have in store for future videos. Keep up the fantastic work and thank you for sharing this amazing gaming experience with us!
This is a really great game with an awesome story. I didn’t realize this until recently but you get to fight doctor M a total of 6 times. First in the beginning of the game, then at the start of Honour among thieves, technically it’s against his genetic monstrosity but still, then against his sea monster, his flying whale, Murray and Bentley vs Doctor M and at last Sly and Inspector Fox vs Doctor M

You make great videos and it's a pleasure to watch them when you play the whole game at once! Could you play Sly Cooper 3 and 2 in Finnish 100% through? thanks for the good videos❤
So many good memories playing this with my older brother. I remember us switching off the controller on every level and we’d try to steal the most from the guards or do the multiplayer dogfight
Im so glad playing french version games like sly , fable , splintercell , ratchet , hitman and a lot of games.......their Voices is an other legend level. The acting too
“Mama Mia! I wanna be buried in her sauce! It’s heaven.” Man, that sentence could be interpreted as meaning something completely different these days. 🤣
was this game planed to be a 3D title? they mention the 3D glasses at the begining of the game, in Italy, like it was going to be the main event, and after that nothing
@@Lombaxguy Exactly. Why would they put so much time and effort into a masterpiece when they can milk the same cheaper gimmicks and make even more money? It’s a sad reality.
This game is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to my life. I remember playing it with my sister when we were young and we'd play the 2 player cops and robbers mode. Wed make up scenarios and go through with them, like we were playing house but in the game lol. We loved the venice level. This was the first sly game id ever played and I've played it at least 15 times. Started at 7 and am now 20. Helped me through alot of depression and anxiety. Man i wish i could turn back time and go back to those simple days. Thank you for the memories, sly.
literally same lol. first ever sly game i got in the second grade when i was 8. i am now 20 n i’m replaying the games. the venice episode will always be so nostalgic, i just remember jumping into the game n i would just play the open world for hours as a little kid. i loved going on the ferris wheel too 😭
I remember playing PlayStation all-stars on ps3 and liking to play with Sly, but I never played the game, than I got the collection(or just 3, don't remember well, a lot of time has passed) and I absolutely loved it, now I always remember Sly Cooper as one of my favorite games on childhood, this game just captivated me and maked me so so happy for playing it

I love how cold and cruel they make Dr. M in his introduction, he asks Richards about his wife and kid solely to tell him he's going to kill him, or more accurately, told him he was about to die because he poisoned him nearly half a day ago. Not even mentioning the fact he would've tore the original Richards to shreds, just to give him bat wings, bison hooves and ape arms. But it's hilarious that the code to the vault was 123.
Sadly, I think we won't hear the voice of him again. Rick May (his voice actor) just passed out yetersday (This guy is more known to voice Soldier from TF2 tho)

Murry: "oh that's crazy!" Sly: "you have any other ideas?" Murry: "Yeah! We need a giant fighting robot!" 🤣 I love Murry's thinking. I still play it just bc this game is so great!
sly cooper was my entire childhood, but it means so much more now that I'm disabled. Bentley has always been my favorite but I see so much of myself in him now. It means so much now that I'm older that he was never treated differently in the games by his friends- even when Murray left jt was because he was angry he couldn't protect him, not because of his injuries or never pitied him. This game was everything I needed when I was little, and it's even more what I need today. Special interests are awesome
It's a long and awesome story... you got any gum? Me: *crying tears of pure joy* so... beautiful... Btw, are we not gonna talk about Sly glitching out at that one moment when he got the third load of fireworks.
8:38:17 I never realized it as a kid. But that is really clever writing. Benthley is doubting Sly's intentions and Murray makes a really strong case in just a few words and action.
The best thing about this game was playing Sly vs. Carmelita The Fox in air battle and on land in Venice if you had somone who would play that with you.

That’s a bit heartbreaking with Sly 4’s twist
Sly 4 was the best game ever on PS3. It had the best stealth missions and the most challenging hacking missions.
I never really got why they made Penelope betray the group. With how sly 3 ended it was kinda random
I remember playing this back on the ps2 so many memories

Murray rescuing the van is one of my all time favorite gaming moments.
Well the panda king was the villain from the first game. But in the third was good

The Great Cry of Humanity
When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.
-1 Thessalonians 5:3
Everyone wants peace today, and in some cases, they want peace more than they want justice.
He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour”
And writing to the believers in Ephesus, the apostle Paul said, “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days”
(Ephesians 5:15-16)
Nonbelievers claim that Christians are not realists, that we’re living in an altered state of reality. But we are realists, more than anyone else today. A Christian is someone who simply believes what the Bible is saying. And the Bible tells us that humanity is not basically good; it’s wicked.
That explains a lot of the horrid, perverse, and unthinkable things that people do today. When the Bible says that at the core, our hearts are “desperately wicked”

It is a GREAT burn Bentley had for Muggshot, that's for sure! :) One of the best lines in the game besides Murray going "That does it! I'll floss my teeth with your spine!" when he jumps to fight Octavio and save Bentley.

(Jeremiah 17:9), everything makes sense.
Rick May (his voice actor) just passed out yetersday
(This guy is more known to voice Soldier from TF2 tho)
I be sure to send condolences to Richard's wife

sly cooper was my entire childhood, but it means so much more now that I'm disabled. Bentley has always been my favorite but I see so much of myself in him now. It means so much now that I'm older that he was never treated differently in the games by his friends- even when Murray left jt was because he was angry he couldn't protect him, not because of his injuries or never pitied him.
