A famous martial artist (Chan Xing) returns to Canton with his American bride only to find the whole area over-run by cruel Japanese invaders, most of them Karate experts. He is then forced to use his martial art skills to defeat the Japanese aggression and restore peace to the region.

This is the first time I see Chan Sing play as a good guy , 99% of times he play bad bad guy. Lol 😆
Seriously? Most of his movies I've seen of his are all the good guys BLOODY FIST, TOUGH GUY, BRUTAL BOXER , only in THE BROTHERS he was cast as a bad guy guest starring in it.

Excellent climax fight great display of martial arts
Just saw the beginning, will continue watch later. Always the same actors play the traitor that goes with the Japanese. Those actors always has the same type of face and voice and they are playing the same coward that can't fight. Love those movies. It seems the same cast of Bloody fist. I could recognize Yaba. Should be a great story with drama and lot of Kung-fu. I'm addicted to Kung-fu movies from childhood watching those movies. Can't get over this addiction. Love the noise of the wind when they fight and practice. Nobody can make such great movies anymore.
Chen Sing Ruled!! And equally played a Goodguy or a Badguy equally Perfect!!

I believe this movie is somewhat a tribute to Grandmaster Bruce Lee. Look at it carefully. The main hero is a martial artist returning from USA with an American bride. Sounds familiar? The main enemy is Japanese. Familiar plot?

yasuaki kurata is a faster runner, than usain bolt and ben johnson, that man can run. sometimes i think that man might run true the screen.

Description sums up the basics of this movie. Some more details are: Leading the Japanese "Ah Taka" (Kurata) hangs a Chinese kid to set him as an example to them. Ah Taka's goal is to control the fishing junks, tax them and send the money to Japan. "Ah Wong" is (Wong Yuen) leader of the common folk. Chan Quan (Chen Sing) has to rescue another boy. (Suen Lam) helps the Japanese as an informant. Ah Taka now beats up some more men. Ah Wong fights one of the lead Japanese fighters. Ah Wong & Chan's wife (Irene Ryder) are captured. 106 minute mark Chan goes on a wild fighting spree to find them. NOTE: MANY same people in this movie are in Wu Tang Collection film Kung Fu the Invisible Fist also a barn burner for kung fu action.
