I have enjoyed their music for over 60years. This is one of their greatest melodies ever. Never ever get tired of the Shadows. Brilliant.
Here in 2024...68 years old and this was always my favourite music of theirs. So glad I found this. A bit tearful now.❤❤😪
Also here in 2024, 66 years old and always loved The Shadows. I grew up listening to their music as my mom was also a huge fan. Memories of a time and the people who are not with us anymore.

I was a fun degli Shadows in the 60., when I was a teenager. I am very glad to listen to them again after all these years. I found them on youtube , without looking for them, and I am very happy to listen and seeing them again even if I am a granother. Never mind, they still play guitar very nicely and they remember my 20 years old, that is very important and pleaseful.

The rhythm on this song is absolutely beautiful. The bass and lead complement the rhythm brilliantly. The spot light deserves to be on Bruce, one of the best rhythm displays in my opinion, can listen to this a million times!!

Hank's playing is so simple but yet beautiful. Some of the shadows' songs are so simple and easy to play, but Hank gives them so much character. No one can ever play like Hank.

One of my favourite Shadows tunes, written by Bruce. I still have my Shadows fan club membership card, any 1960's guitarist who says he wasn't influenced by Hank Marvin is lying.

I have always been a fan of The Shadows over the decades. Just love this song, it is a masterpiece.
Hank Marvin has had that same complete and utter happiness smile on his face while playing from the beginning. Look at old video from the 60's and you will see him smile the exact same way as he continues to do today, he loves playing and we still love to listen. Respect

Alors j'étais adolescente et je les adorais. Je suis contente de les avour retrouvés sur youtube. Je ne me lasse pas de les ecouter. Avec les Beatles, les Bee Gees, ils étaient au hit parade des années 60. Je me sens "jeune" à nouveau en les écoutant. Bravo les Shadows. ❤❤❤❤

I interviewed Bruce Welsh several years ago for a documentary and he was a true gent..I was asking him questions about another artist for the film..but threw in a question about Theme for young lovers..He was so helpfull in his answer and we just carried on chatting about the Shadows after that..out of all the people I interviewed he was the one I looked forward to interviewing and he didnt dissapoint..so you can meet your heroes and not have to be left wishing you hadnt!

Imagine people who get carried away from their comfort zone by the YT algorithm. Imagine when they simply reached a point of "Wait, how did I get here?". Personally, I don't like this tune too much, it's way too syrupy sweet on the point of tacky.

When I was 17 I wanted to play the guitar like Hank Marvin.
Fifty years later I have decided that it ain't going to happen.
Today I sold my guitar and amp.

Best version they ever did. Great sound and clear articulated playing as always. And a suprise great string arrangement played by Cliff Hall on the keyboard, this should have been on the original from 1964, perfect !! Gives so many memories from the past. Top professional and perfect as always. **********

whao what a fabulous band I grew up with the shadows , nobody can match them ,wonderful music .
Bring this music back Guy's, motivate your childeren or grandchilderen to learn to play this music, it may not be lost in time, take them from behind there playstation or tablets and pc and let them play a few hours a day of this kind of music. Your kids will loved you for it and later they will be grateful.

Unforgetable this group from the early 69's. In those yrs Mauritus was under British rule. Through the good and the bad we get along through extrême poverty.
Cliff and the shadows brought entertainment to our lives with Atlantis Wonderful Land Sleep walk and movies Summer holiday/ Young Ones.!
