Couldn't listen to it in school so i literally wrote it down so I could look it up at home. The first times I found it riciculous but I soon learned to love it.
Tired of seeing people bashing this. This is really cool, and an awesome hobby. That kind of animation can't be easy, especially with the complex setup. Seriously, an awesome show, and the fact that it's for the public to see and enjoy is great. Around here, Christmas light shows charge money for you to drive through them and it's stupid. Great job, keep up the hobby and enjoy it! Ignore the idiots on here whining and claiming it's a waste or that you're "Bored rich people", that's dumb and even if it were true, Personally I'd rather do something productive like this with my boredom than waste time making rude youtube comments
I wouldn't worry about the power bill - LEDs use very little electricity. I have a much smaller house, but string LED lights all the way around and out into the yard and run them all off the same 15amp outlet. The total is probably less than one 60watt bulb.

It is so big, that they have to negotiate with their neighbors on length of time it can be on, and how late it can run. The music is broadcast on a radio frequency, so it's not blaring outside.
