🚨 Cape Texas Update 🚨 January 6, 2025. The US cargo ship Cape Texas has made contact with the Port Authority of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, requesting anchorage and supplies. This comes after days of strange movements between La Palma, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria. Experts suggest possible reasons, including waiting for orders, searching for something, or even mapping the Canary Islands’ seabed. I’ll be sharing a quick update video on this topic later today. Stay tuned for the latest insights! 🛳🇺🇸
I googled Cape Texas. Is is a roll on/roll off carrier - military vehicles can drive onto it & drive off. It has been used in the past by the USA to transport military equipment to the middle east. The US purchased it from Germany. Articles suggest it may have had a malfunction that required repairs - after Jan 6 supposedly it departed the island area. Supposedly it caused quite a stir among the local Islanders, because it was circling the islands for days and no one knows why.
Great reporting as always. Very interesting, my thought would be military related. We are on the cusp of something, most people I know well have felt this for a few years now
MV Cape Texas is anchored in the port at La Palmas, Gran Canarias as of 2030 UTC on Jan. 8, 2025. It looks like the ship has been there for several hours.
I dug into this one a little more. Yes it is part of the US Ready Reserve Fleet. But it is no longer owned and operated by the US Navy. She no longer carries the USNS designation and is now owned by the US Department of Transportation as MV Cape Texas. But as noted she is available for Navy Service with 5 days notice. But since she is DOT she can and does see some use in other ways. For example due to her ability to load container sized modules she can easily be used by NOAA the US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration for research cruises. However given the current state of the world I think you are more likely correct that she is probably carrying Military Materials, and is simply on station in a pre-position location just in case. Probably looking towards something getting worse in the Middle East or something in North or West Africa suddenly getting unstable. Ok MORE unstable. It could simply be doing a Reserve Training Cruise (although they would probably be moving around more). Or given where it is, it might actually be a NOAA Oceanographic mission. With a couple of University Teams taking water samples etc. But if that was the case they probably would pull into Tennerife and Pa Palma at some point and you would notice all the drunk grad students. I lean towards its simply sitting on station at a pre-position point just in case something happens in this period of political changeover in the US. Right now the US has a very weak, very confused lame duck President until Jan 21 when Trump takes office. So the Pentagon may have activated some assets and put them into "just in case" standby positions. It will probably sail for home on Jan 22.
There are a lot of strange, unexplained things going on these days. I've been praying about it all. It just seems like there is an atmosphere of unrest everywhere. Thank you for reporting on this. The Lord bless and keep you...
The Cape T could be a prepositioning loaded with cargo/equipment going to a friendly nation for a “Combined Arms Operation” unload ship perform routine maintenance on equipment reload ship, yes that mundane. This would be my guess, they are waiting for a birth and the US military personnel to do the work.
Cape Texas not showing on ship tracker, per now should be between sea hunter and Elias , showing on Marine tracker, but disappeared from ship tracker 🤷♂️
There is no telling with this current administration. I will pray y'all find out. Pray for this world and for TRUMPS administration that all goes well Jan 20th. GOD BLESS! ❤

Always a pleasure to hear from you again Bear, Blessings 🤲
That is very interesting. Thank you for reporting on this, I haven't seen this anywhere else. Stay aware and safe, Bear.
Interesting!
It's the La Palma volcano guy again! Haven't seen this channel for a long time...
It seems lots of the things are happening that we don't see AND lots of things we see are not what is happening.
@@simchascribe9412 Very well said.
Thank you so much for reporting on this, God bless you 🙏
Thanks for update bud haven't commented in forever. Be safe out there

Thanks Bear, stay safe
Good to hear from you again!
Ben it sounds like they are looking for something 😉👍

If just killing time I would expect a speed of 6-8 knots, not, the higher speed of 15-16 knots you noted which consumes more fuel. Very srange
What a fascinating story! Will follow your reportage anxiously! Nice to see you on line and reporting! Always interesting! ❤
The plot thickens...
Thanks for the update. Keep a close eye on that one…
Thank you Brother!
Thank you for the information! Mysterious for sure!
This makes me a bit nervious. Thanks for reporting this.
Why?
Thank you Bear
No better eyes and ears than yours! I look forward to the next update. Blood of Jesus cover you and your family 💞
Wow...😮 Always be on a mind of prayer...thanks for that story, thank you Mr. Bear.🌼
Now doing some circles north of Gran Canaria... same routine, intl waters but entering territorial
Great reporting as always. Very interesting, my thought would be military related. We are on the cusp of something, most people I know well have felt this for a few years now
Thanks Bear. Nice to see you. I think there is more to the story . Stay safe my friend . 🙏🏼
Brother BB, hello! So good to hear and see you. Thank you for the update. Many blessings from Grandma Linda in Martinsburg WV USA. 🙏🤗❤️😇✝️
Stay safe, Mr. Bear
What underwater assets are on the ocean floor in that area?
Very informative content. That is quite a unique ship, it's history too.
Stay safe!!
Thank you.
I love that you are reporting on this. Thank you for looking into this. It's great to hear from you 💗
We need more answers indeed!
Is there no way for officials to radio this Captain and simply ask him what he's doing?
@@susanvaughan4210 absolutely susan. I don't think any of us have a clue what's going on in the world right now. Scary times.
Hey brother 🙏
Be well thank you for the information 🤝
Ships usually have destinations
MV Cape Texas is anchored in the port at La Palmas, Gran Canarias as of 2030 UTC on Jan. 8, 2025. It looks like the ship has been there for several hours.
Good seeing you again Ben. I hope all is well. The question is what "eagle" has landed in the area?
I know the captain of the ship _Cape Texas._ She dropped her cell phone in the water and made everyone look for it. 😁
It's searching for something. If hanging around, why do 16knts? It's probably dragging a sensor.
Looks like a standard search pattern
if theyve been doing this for 36 hours, its not out of economy - 16-17 knots is consuming a considerable amount of fuel.
Maybe somebody dropped the keys.

Could be mapping the sea floor after the volcano.
...?
Nah...
Maybe, but a cargo ship? Still, that is a good idea.
3 days ago i saw a military plane parked at the airport in madeira. i have never seen this before. i do not know what country it came from.
I wonder if monkey works knows what is happening 🤔
Surveillance. That back and forth is not random for a surveillance pattern.
There are a lot of strange, unexplained things going on these days. I've been praying about it all. It just seems like there is an atmosphere of unrest everywhere. Thank you for reporting on this.
The Lord bless and keep you...
They are probably looking for a lost unmanned drone submarine.
✅️😂👍👍
Wow..who knows? It’s a cargo ship, so…it’s got something on it
Yeah, U.S. military forces
oh ?😮interesting
Searching for grunions . 🤔
At least no islands are falling apart. Yet 🏝.
This is a search pattern. Probably a missing sub?
For a reason.....
We live in Tenerife and Are a Little Bit scared what this is
awaits jan 20 a nice area to visit anyway
Hmm… 🤨🤔
Après le Greonland on passera aux Îles Canaries qui sait ????....
I have no knowledge of this, but maybe it is somehow related to the presidential inauguration on January 20. Just a thought.
Are you going to post any more wildlife vlogs?
It could be looking for something hostile?
It is not a commercial ship! That's the first impression from the ID shot!
You can see this kind of „flight“ pattern with every reconnaissance aircraft like AWACS every day on flightradar.
It appears to be sheltering from high seas, high winds or both.
This is pretty interesting and potentially viewed as some sketchy behavior for that vessel.
Good to see a vid from you!
is it landslide-related you think bear??
ex "Reichenfels" - been there, seen that, first two voyages.
Lets see, what comes out of it.
Sounds like they found the sea monster and are making observations.😮
Cape Texas not showing on ship tracker, per now should be between sea hunter and Elias , showing on Marine tracker, but disappeared from ship tracker 🤷♂️
Seemingly, it’s not allowed to land anywhere. For some odd reason
your German is good
The paranoia in the comments section is off the charts.
Probably just a steering problem 🤨
Welcome back, Bushcraft. Your return is daunting, but welcome.
Is it near the Cumbra Vieja?
That sounds really suspicious! I wish it would of stayed a private shipping vessel and not part of the war machine. I’m from the US by the way.
Ours to fund out, is my thinking.
Hmmmm. ....
Why don't your"experts" just listen into their radio frequency and then we all will know what is going on.
Lets see what the spanish navy or port authorities do have or say about this ship
Send the information to Candace

Scanning for a crashed UFO😮😮
Looks like a refueler 🤔
This cannot be good, that ship is for a reason! Stay alert.
Lost a sub? Expect more action then. I don't see any other reason for choosing that area for anything.
There is no telling with this current administration. I will pray y'all find out. Pray for this world and for TRUMPS administration that all goes well Jan 20th. GOD BLESS! ❤
My guess is they're looking for something
Es ta haciendo barrido de el fondo buscá algo
Looks like a perfect platform to launch & landing of drones?
She's lost.
Spooky for sure. Personally, I trust no one, ...but my hubby, kids and of course, The Lord.
Drone mothership
