- This is my submission for Pwnisher's "Boss Fight" Render Challenge that got me the 5th place!

@@fabgmoraesI promise when I watched pwnishers video I loved your render the most and I thought it's pretty underrated too cuz no 9ne was talking about it in comment section and 2nd fav render was just after your render with mechabots. I even remember the time stamp it was on 4:45 if I'm not wrong. Keep up the amazing work mate.
This should have been swapped with 1st. It's got all the elements, great camera work, FX, composition, animation, storytelling, slomo concept...where the others all had 1 or 2 of those as a miss. Great work.

I really liked it, this could have been in the top three but the only issue I see is the preemptive JUMP that breaks the whole scene apart. Really nicely executed visually.

I don't remember exactly, but I think I've been doing 3D stuff for 13 years now. But don't worry, you can learn the basics in a few months and if you stick with it, you'll get good pretty quickly!

This is one of the best I saw for sure. Got a question, how does one get as good as you to make this? Did you start a very long time ago? The texturing just seems so difficult to do for 3D models, I am always amazed when I see people do texture work like this.
Hi! Thank you! I‘ve been doing this for maybe 13 years now. But the texturing was actually pretty simple for this scene. Nothing fancy. Most of the assets I used were already textured.
@@RobinPittelkow Wow 13 years, and I’m just getting started. I guess I have a long journey ahead to reach this level. Any suggestions on where to get started? I am beginning blender and UE5. I hope to one day make some animations as good as astartes.
@@jewishbanana7055 No worries, you won't need 13 years! You can learn the basics in a few moths and if you stay at it, you will get better at it very fast! My suggestion would be: Follow tutorials about something that you are interested in. Don't bother learning what every button does. Learn how to use them by folowing tutorials. If something is unclear, google it. I remember following tutorials about stuff, that was way out of my league at that time, but I've learned so much following them. Do that until you learned enough to start your own project! Good luck!

Thanks! I used a render farm for rendering. For the test renders I used my 2 1080‘s at home.
