Everyday Clutter kit... Bathroom Clutter Kit... Without any of the clutter kits, I already have a few 100's clutter items. Well, there are also those random ones from various build oriented CCs and mods. I have ONE use for clutter : Help prevent toddlers from leaving their dirty plates in the stupidest locations.
I'm just here to defend Dream Home Decorator: yes, it's hard to sometimes use it. Especially since modular stuff tend to forget their place (thanks EA). However, they are perfect to me for small spaces. Once you get the hang of it, it's super great! Also, as you said, basegame actually already has a lot of clutter. But we don't have boxes. DHD boxes are my go to clutter with plants. 💀 (And also interior magazines that are locked.) About the lack of diversity in beds: they are the most neutral ones in my opinion, so that's the reason why I like them. Yes it's the sole reason I use them everywhere. DHD is a great combination with Tiny Living, but I definitely would not recommend DHD for a new builder. The idea with it is to play with the modularity and really think outside the box.
I like using the Parenthood dishwasher in starter homes because it's the cheapest one, yet they all have the same reliability score. I also use the hexagonal Eco Lifestyle flooring for the bill discount, and because it appeals to my basic beige aesthetic.
I hate the bass cabinets in parenthood. I think they’re terrible. I’m an interior designer and they just look horrible with those huge handles. The feel bulky and cheap
Modern luxe curtains and bed are a must, use them in every build! I like the growing together lighting and windows if you like modern builds it's got that mid century feel.
I'd be super interested to see how he'd redesign public lots like the Rattlesnake bar. With the horse ranch pack, he could give it a real western theme

@@meee7015 I don’t think there is “beef” per se, I think he just thinks she’s a EA sellout. And I love lilsimsie too and I watch all her videos as well but it’s true. She rarely talks about the real issues with the game and is up EAs butt. She loves them because she works for them, and gets all the packs for free. Satch doesn’t work for EA and he has to pay for them. So he is more truthful in his reviews. I love watching both of their reviews for packs because Kayla is sooo overly positive about them because they were free and she’s advertising for EA. Satch is more picky because he spent his own money on the packs and doesn’t work for EA, so it’s good to see both sides before buying a pack.
I don't agree with parenthood being a good build pack or the kids room pack, I like the dream home decorator pack but I don't like the modular stuff My fav packs for build mode are eco life style, snowy escape and dream home decorator, with a small shout out to tiny living pack
How about putting those trellises on fences or half walls? Speaking of doors, they are finally going to make those wooden doors in the base game in glass, and as for windows I wish they would make more windows for curved walls, especially the tall ones. Oh, and while we are talking about solar panels, how about more colors of those with panels that can attach to the walls? That would make so much more useable. New ceiling fans, and skylights of different sizes, new terrain paints. Cursed nothing, the sofas could be used for a family game room, the fish wallpaper in a kid's bathroom, and the leaves wallpaper can be used in a child's bedroom or playroom. The one item I used the most is the dishwasher. 150 simoleans for a dishwasher is a steal in rl and the Sims. Come to think of it, I think you are on point when you talk about the beds in DHD, I was thinking why can we not build a buid? After all, DHD came with modular furniture, why not beds too? Putting together different headboards with different sheets, and different pillows. It would be so much more fun and less borning. Come on Sims team!!
The only thing from dream home decorator that caught my eye was the counter sofas and the counter top stoves and that's the only reason I would buy the pack (didnt say the only reason I bought it cause I don't own it.)
I use the Eco Lifestyle wood plank flooring in literally everything I make. I also put a used lotion and a Kleenex box on the man's side of the bed in every build.
Build idea: You should build a house with items you hate/don't use.

I really liked Spa Day for building, Get to Work has some interesting items, and even Cats and Dogs
University - some of the best build stuff (architecture). I also like Cottage living and Horse Ranch (game play sucks but the build stuff is amazing).
The kitchen stuff for cottage living is to DIE FOR. Especially the red swatch
