Please excuse my cold...and despite my best efforts the video ended up being 15 minutes anyway! Here's is the playlist for the riffs if you want to skip ahead: 01:35 "Breaker" 02:14 "Fast As A Shark" 02:54 "Restless and Wild" 04:17 "Princess of the Dawn" 05:20 "Balls To The Wall" 06:25 "Head Over Heels" (the 2nd part of the vid for this riff was accidentally deleted, but the tab is still there..sorry ;-) 07:15 "Metal Heart" 09:15 "Living For Tonight" 09:55 "Bound To Fail" 11:32 "Teutonic Terror" 13:42 "Dark Side Of My Heart"
Hell yess!!! Rhythm guitar is equally important if not more important than solos!! What keeps the heads banging throughout a song?? Rhythm guitar!! (And of course drums and bass, but I'm sure most of you get the point!) I started re-playing guitar about 3 years ago, after a 18 year break. I used to only play rhythm metal, because I couldn't play any solos. But I made the mistake of wanting to play and ONLY playing solos/leads, only to discover I could barely play rhythm! So I'm back to the basics, of working in riffs, and developing my picking hand.

Crusader, Wheels of Steel, Strong Arm of the Law, Solid Ball of Rock, and any others you think are worthy. Heavy Metal Thunder possibly for its influence on thrash.
Wolf Hoffman is one great guitarist and never mentioned, thanks Nick
