Just what i needed, yay! So glad your arm is getting better Melissa and you're on your way to recovery. Also, what a beautiful plant haul, im amazed at what you can find in big box stores. Thanks for a great video! 😊💖🪷
What perfect timing for a new video 📸 I needed my Melissa fix so, I was just binging your channel and rewatching videos. I truly enjoy these type of videos. I love the little ladybug 🐞 and air plant. The cute plant and pot you got for $7 was a good 👍 deal. TFS Melissa. Happy Thursday! Enjoy the remainder of your day and have a great weekend 😊😊😊
Another fun video, I always enjoy your shopping ventures. It showed up on my tablet at a perfect time as I had just returned indoors to take a break from planting the new shrubs I purchased a couple days ago. My wife recently added a mulched area along one of our stone walls so I bought her some shrubs for Mother’s Day. Two Weigela and two Gold Leaf False Cypress shrubs. Her hard work paid off as it looks very nice and is a great addition to our landscaping. My creaky old bones were tired from planting so your video was a welcome respite. Thanks.
I think the big one with the silver underside is an alocasia “metal head”. I have one from Walmart and couldn’t figure out what it was but then I came across metal heads and it looks pretty close to them!
I live vicariously through your shopping videos! The last time I bought a plant from Home Depot I also brought home an insane number of fungus gnats. I don't know how I missed them in the store. Anyway, I'm on a no buy for now. I'll probably go back to just purchasing cuttings. I never get bugs with those!
If you ever spot the cool beauty diffenbachia, you should get one. They are super low maintenance. Mine just put out a new leaf and it has some minty/silver variegation, which I guess is common on them. I feel like it’s right up your alley!
Wow your stores are nice!! Those Hoya at Ace were nice. Mine doesn't carry plants ☹️. I'm sorry I missed what happened to your arm. I will have to go back and find out. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you for the tour, some gorgeous plants you bought ❤ I just bought a Maranta Silver Band too. I'll have to search for some videos for tips and tricks on that. It's so beautiful 🥰 Have a great weekend! 😊
It was very interesting to me to see the difference between Lowes and Home Depot in your area. Lowes has really stepped up it's game in the house plant dept here in Greensboro, but Home Depot has not. And to see the same thing in your area was interesting. My HD DOES water their plants, But Way too much! I bought an Aglaonema from HD about 2 weeks ago and had to sit it on piles of paper towels to get all the water out! In fact I remember taking the plant out of the cover pot and dumping the water all over the floor!! HD just doesn't seem to care about this dept at all. The only reason I did buy this Agl. was because I could see it was a fresh delivery. Root rot had not started yet and it is doing so well now and looks great. I also did buy a Peace Lily Sensation from there about 2 months ago. It too was a fresh delivery with no beat up leaves and looking beautiful. That had a price tag on it of only $16!!! So HD is hit or miss. If you hit them at the right time you can score, but generally they let this department flounder.
I would have rescued that maranta too, love the bugs! Melissa I really enjoy the plant shopping videos! The succulents oh my, and the ctenanthe I have that one , it grows very easily and mine is huge.
I'm so glad you were able to get out and about! I love going to local nurseries and just wandering around the jungle. The selection at your Home Depot is amazing! Mine is very small hah, hah. Glad your arm is getting better!
Kalanchoa,(kalankoa) 8:56 It flowers really good and you can grow them from a single leaf, even if it is those tiny ones from under the flowers. But it gets mealybugs so easily. But it is so kind and forgiving. It is two type pf flowers, one has lesse leaves and another one has many more. Look it up, it is so colorful and nice like germaniums. You can plant them outside.
I was glad to see a big box store video.
That’s a stunning ficus. I’ve never seen or heard of it before. Now I need one.
I'm going to savannah in a week or two, so I'm happy to see this!
Yay!!💚🌿
🥰🫶🏻🌿
11:58 I have a tiny one of those. A 6 cm pot. I LOVE it.
Just what i needed, yay! So glad your arm is getting better Melissa and you're on your way to recovery. Also, what a beautiful plant haul, im amazed at what you can find in big box stores. Thanks for a great video! 😊💖🪷
Thank you so much Katie ❤️

Thank you so much! 🙏🏼 the area sounds like it’s going to look beautiful with the new shrubs and mulch ☺️ yard work can be a lot of work!
6:18 They are unfortunately also a Thrips magnet 🙈😔. They will find that one in 10 seconds flat.
It's nice to get out, and I'm thankful that your arm is getting better. Nice haul.
Thank you! 🫶🏻
That first one really looked like a neon pothos from the petioles. And around 10:00 that looked like a variegated heartleaf philodendron.
I think the big one with the silver underside is an alocasia “metal head”. I have one from Walmart and couldn’t figure out what it was but then I came across metal heads and it looks pretty close to them!
Thank you!
Get the variegated cactus. Otherwise you’ll have to go back and get it.
The variegated tiny plant is for sure a ficus shijverean, i got some today. Im wondering if the neon ones are philo golden crocodiles 😳
so pretty, I wish they would sell caladium like that here in denmark, but I have nerver seen them :(
That big Alocasia Nigra plumba right?
Your huge Alocasia could be a Colocasia. :)
That banana plant was so cool.. too bad it had spider mites!
I'd love to find a lemon lime heart leaf
Woohoo!! A new shopping video! I hope your arm heals quickly!
Thank you so much!! ❤️🫶🏻
Pretty cute❤ nice videos
Yay! I been waiting for a new video! Thanks Melissa! 😊
Thanks for watching!! 💖
9:02 It’s a Kalanchoe 😊
The one looks like a neon pothos
Maybe a colacasia?

That ficus I got that from greenescape and it’s a spider mite magnet. I love it though I moved it into Pon ❤
Costa farms released 2 new plants. I have been on the hunt. lol. I love watching your videos.
Beautiful ficus and I’m glad you got that clearance silver band maranta
Oh that Ficus does look cool. I'm such a sucker for variegation.
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️
I think the alocasia in the pot with the caladiums is alocasia sumo. It can get big!
You need something that blooms around your house, outside.
Stunning plants in Ace hardware. Love the 🐈
💚💚💚
I love that diffenbachia. It’s so different.
I’d have grabbed the variegated ficus benjamina in a heart beat
I love plant shopping! SO many beauties to see here! 💚💚💚
That Clown Fig is adorable!
Yes it looks like an Alocasia - and I love Caladiums!!!
yeah the leaf are totally Alocasia, maybe Alocasia Nigra plumba, or Alocasia Yucatan princess, sometime look similar like Simpo and Lukiwan
Thank you for taking us shopping with you. So much fun 💚
💚
The regular green dragon alocasia is the one I want.
I'm so glad you were able to get out and about! I love going to local nurseries and just wandering around the jungle. The selection at your Home Depot is amazing! Mine is very small hah, hah. Glad your arm is getting better!
Thank you Kim!!
What did you do to your left arm?
I fell back on it outside I was using a shovel and I slipped 🙃
Episcia, the plant with pretty leaves you thought looked like a begonia. In same family as African violet ❤
Ah okay! Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
Another beautiful video. Thank you Melissa for taking us with you🎉
You are so welcome!

Aw I love them but some are definitely finicky. Maranta seem to be easier going for me 🙏🏼
Kalanchoa,(kalankoa) 8:56
