I really like this technique. When I've made them in the past, I've also popped each piece up on foam tape. The added dimension is really nice. Lovely cards, MayMay.
I just love this technique. It looks like there is a lot of paper being used when there is just one piece of printed paper. I would love to see this done in a circle or a scalloped circle. Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad the gauntlet was thrown... this is an awesome card with patterned paper. I love stamping but a beautiful patterned paper is worth it's weight in Moon Pie's ! Love these cards. Can't weight to try it myself.
This was fun to watch and I would enjoy watching another video with different shapes! Maybe an octagon or egg shape, since Easter will be coming around the corner. Just a thought! I so enjoy your channel. You offer great projects, products, words of wisdom, and guidance; not only for the crafting world but for life! TFS!
Other shapes would be amazing! I’m Loving the cream and green together! Thank you!!!! I have some floral paper I’m not too crazy about and this would be perfect!!!! Thank you!!!
Great video, Maymay! Looks like an awesome way to get rid of some printed papers and make a bunch of cards quickly. It would be great to see you do this with some other shaped dies too. Thank you!
I don't know why I don't use this technique more often, 'cuz I love it! I have the sizes written down but I just don't think! I have several birthdays coming up so will make a point to do a couple of these. I like that set of rectangle dies ... so many size options!
Wouldn't you be able to use the dies for the background rectangles as well? Like a size up from the one used on the patterned paper? Just a thought. Love these!
Why can’t you use the next larger rectangle die to make the contrasting background for each piece? Aren’t they made to have a 1/8” increase on each side?
Don't see why you couldn't do this same technique with the stamped images, stamping on just one piece of paper and cutting it like you do here, rather than stamping on the stack of papers as shown in your other video using this triple stack.
This is a perfect design for mass producing charity cards! Thank you MayMay!
I really like this technique. When I've made them in the past, I've also popped each piece up on foam tape. The added dimension is really nice. Lovely cards, MayMay.
Love this. You could also use the dies and use the dies in between size dies for the contrasting mats.
I tried that with my dies and they were quite the right size. But it would probably work with some dies.
I just love this technique. It looks like there is a lot of paper being used when there is just one piece of printed paper. I would love to see this done in a circle or a scalloped circle. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely love this. I need to get busy, you inspire me like no one else can, thank for that and for everything you do for us.
Yes, shaped dies would be nice and I really like this card. I am a paperholic, I have SO MUCH PAPER! I also, love the back of both papers. Thank you 🙂

Great video, Maymay! Looks like an awesome way to get rid of some printed papers and make a bunch of cards quickly. It would be great to see you do this with some other shaped dies too. Thank you!
They are both beautiful, I have never done this technique before. Will have to try doing it. Thank you
It's so simple yet looks so elegant. Would be cool with a circle or oval card too
Ooooo yes, this would make an EXCELLENT scrap buster!!! 👏🏼
So cool! Love it! Thanks Maymay and Shann0n. Hugs and blessings.
Lovely. I've done it with stamping but not decorative paper. This would be cool w/Christmas paper. Thanks for sharing.
I don't know why I don't use this technique more often, 'cuz I love it! I have the sizes written down but I just don't think! I have several birthdays coming up so will make a point to do a couple of these.

Your videos are so inspiring. You make me feel like I can do this too. I feel that way about all your technique videos. TFS!
Great idea, love the look!
Love this idea. Definitely good to help use up my paper pads. Will have to try this. Thank you.
Great technique for using one sheet of paper. I plan to try this with a stamped piece of paper.
Thanks!!! And yes, please on the shaped dies.
Thanks for working out this technique. I have a lot of paper pads that I haven’t used up and they would work great for this technique.
I would love to see this in other shapes too! These are beautiful. ❤️
I love this! This could help me bust my stash which is great because I said I wouldn't buy any paper until I got rid of some of my stash
This is a great technique. These dies are on my wishlist.
Great unique way to create and interesting card.
So pretty, I am learning alot
Thanks for showing the process. I've been wondering how to do it with pretty papers. 😍
This is fantastic. Runs to find patterned paper to do this with.
Love your instructional videos. So easy to follow and re created. Thanks so much!
I did it with stamping. But think it is pretty with the patterned way. Will have to try next.
I love this! I have been using this technique for a few years, and is a favorite of mine.
what an interesting technique. TFS
AWESOMENESS! I love this technique!
Cool. Actually will try this! Please do some shapes. Especially triangle
I have taught where you actually make your own DSP and then cut it and also use the DSP so this is an awesome technique
Yes, that is what I did in Thursday’s video that got us talking about this one.
I am so excited totry this....and yes please do the shaped die video version of this !!
great idea! thanks so much for showing us how to do it
Love this technique! TFS!!
These are gorgeous! Thank you!❤️
I've done that before with printed paper fast easy card!
I never liked this technique with stamps, but I l9ve it with just the paper. Great video.
Super idea, love it
Beautiful and easy.
That’s a cool method! Thank You!
Great, I want to try this
I am going to use my scan n cut to cut rectangles and see if I can get the same effect.
Thanks for sharing everything MayMay, I just saw that technique on another video but different.
Love this, thank you.
Great technique!
Thank you this is awesome!
Thank you
Great tutorial
Love it!
Love love love ❤️❤️❤️
Did this a couple of years ago but made my own backround paper with stamps and then popped up the layers.
This looks fun to try. Going on my list!
Guess whose going to try this today!!!!! Mmmmeeeeeeee
Yes, any shape
Love this:) tfs:)
Hearts…for valentines
beautiful xx
Wouldn't you be able to use the dies for the background rectangles as well? Like a size up from the one used on the patterned paper? Just a thought. Love these!
You can do it that way, we wanted more of a contrast in between the layers, thanks
Love your nails
👏👏
Why not use the next size up (or two) die to cut the base backing contrast piece for the designer paper?
You can I just saved myself a cut since it was the same size as the card base. If I didn’t have the right color base I would cut it.
Try it using scotty to raise pieces up
Did you try cutting the bases from the next die size up? Looks like it might work.
Hi you can do it that way, we just wanted more space between our panels, thanks

Would love to see shapes, especially a scalloped oval.
Could very easily do this with a cutting machine.

Because the visual of this is that the pattern continues from the center out. However, either way I’m sure would be beautiful!
