Now that the official Halo Reach mod tools have been released, we can finally play around with the special tag test build of Halo Reach which has the built in cheat menu enabled. Let's see what cheat codes Halo Reach has!

An idea for MCC: A campaign game mode where bump possession exists. 2-4 player co-op versus 2-4 other players playing on the enemy side. Can posses any enemy and take control of them to try and stop the campaign from progressing by wiping the team out. Kinda like a L4D versus mode thing.

Super Forge gives you a different menu in the forge part of the game, rather than the default one. Also, forge in this mode has Flyable pelicans and Phantoms in it officially.
They need to make that something that’s in Forge.
All weapons is likely in the audio menu for easier access to test well... Audio. Instead of just using the audio test room, this is likely an alternative to spawn in everything at once to test in an individual map. Could be wrong, just a guess.

I feel like its the same as the Halo CE cheat, it makes all damage you deal go back at you, so if you make a bit of damage, you get that bit of damage

What's cool about bump possession here is it looks like you don't have arms where normally you get the Master Chief arms. In the SVE slayer game type there was a to get that working if you set up a marker or point (I forget what they're called) and become a forge monitor. Then you could run into any Elite AIs you spawn and become them just like in this video. The good old days were fun.
gametype scripts in general are capable of forcing you into any other biped, aye, and a modded gametype could do it when you get very close to a biped. pretty sure Bungie just added the functionality to the multiplayer engine for their Halo Chess game jam lol

Reflexive damage is pretty self explanatory, it changes the animation of your player model whwnever you takes damage.
You even see it in the video lmao Vs litterally a min earlier when he takes over elites.

How would *medusa* be used for testing? Checking AI and awareness, death animations, proximity, stuff like that?
could also be a quick shortcut for testing basic level progression. id guess that a "kill everyone instantly" cheat could potentially break missions depending on how they're scripted and how those scripts interact with NPCs, but medusa would give you some amount of discretion as to when enemies cease to be in your way... and which ones do, as well
Besides that, it's used to simulate different player levels. You have the pro's/speedrunners, the casuals, the mess-abouter's who don't really do nothing, and that's about it.

All Weapons was likely to test the sound effects in the field, not just in the sound room.

Have Medusa on and see what happens when you beat Lone Wolf. Does it have a true ending or is it really infinite waves?
You need to give tutorials on how exactly you get to these. I have the mod tools and everything and I even launched the tag build but I couldnt go anywhere past main menu
Omnipotent can be find in the gearbox port's console commands (like most of these like medusa, bump_possession, bottomless clip, infinite ammo, and most of the others)
Not sure if it was there in the original game tho 🤔

imagine bungie left the scarab gun in the cheat all weapons cus there was a code for that in the files of the scarab gun as a joke, hense why the dmg is 50k and blast radius is 10, is the nuke scarab gun there or not in there??

Anyone wondering why he didn’t try bump possession on a vehicle or guta?
I think 343i, going forward with MCC, should begin balancing Campaign missions (especially in Halo 2 Legendary) and make it so you can play with the balances on or off in your game via a skull.
It's fine as it is imo but yeah if it were optional i'd have no issues with it
With Valhalla enabled can you still assasinate enemies?

Can you do a comparison between the Blue Prometheans from Halo 4's Forerunner mission to the Orange Prometheans from the rest of the game and see if they are any different ?????

I spawned jorge and I used bump possession and I dropped his turret and his arms were in the air and also he can't pick up any weapons just turrets that are broken off
I remember in halo 1 my brother turned on bump possession but didn't tell me or my other brother and when we went to replay the campaign we ran into that guy who you follow into the hallway after you get your shields and what not and when we died to the explosion as him the game broke and we had to reset it lol. But the thing is that we didn't know what it was the whole day so we never got past the first mission Because we just kept turning into everything. We ended up quitting because we ran into that guy at the start like 4 times by accident and kept having to reset the game everytime

Pretty sure that is the cheat menu when its closed
its a 'loading' symbol. it shows whenever the engine is processing a request it seems. ie, it shows up when he did teleport to camera, then vanished when the command had been executed.

I wonder why almost after two decades passed only then became a thing on Halo games the developery cheats to be accessable. Meanwhile Doom/Quake engine based games' dev.console is a well known thing in them.

I assume its in the audio menu cause the sound designer wanted to go to new areas and test weapons sounds in diff environments, and complained to the devs that he hated doing each weapon one at at time, so they give him all of them at once.

Mod tools arent cheat codes
They are since they can't be accessed in the normal game.
@@music-channel69 cheat codes in gaming generaly means you pur in a code for cheats. not modding the game
