I am looking for a Ethernet Switch but there are too many kinds of them. Luckily I found this video. The video help me to find best Ethernet Switch. I will definitely buy a product in this video!
so I got as far as :56 mins when I heard that the D-Link DGS-1008G boasts 8 gigabit ports while I was looking at the box that said 5 gigabit ports. No point continuing this video.
I’m setting up bt whole home Wi-Fi and linking a Bt smart hub to the whole home master disc using an Ethernet cable. I need more Ethernet ports so will it work if I link the smart hub to the disc using an Ethernet network switch such as the TP Link SG 105S?
I don’t understand why these smaller switches are designed like rack mount units. I just want an eight port switch with the power adapter on the same side as the ports.
Wow, the tplink does 1000mbps! No wonder the gs108 doesn’t measure poe power drawn, it is not a POE switch. This video just reads the information on the box
I recently connected the TP link switch to our Eero wifi router and I feel like my connection is not as good. I’m working from home and frequently lose connection or our mobile devices connect to wifi don’t work as fast. Could it be the switch?
It really doesn't matter. Just grab a 5 or 8-port switch off the shelf in some shop. 1 Gb ports are nice when you want to download stuff if your ISP provides you with more than 100 Mb speed.
I can tell you you don't want one made of plastic, I had one before and it melted from getting too hot. I have never bought a plastic switch or router from that point forward I do believe you get what you pay for.
Top 5 best ethernet switches... none of which have advanced features. All these switches have only the most basic features found on any generic switch but you managed to make a 10 minute video about it.
In the field of technology every new day and developments of the most important areas that are rapidly developing the world of the Internet, including equipment such as Switch, despite a conflict between companies, but for me, tp link remains the best
A good Ethernet Switch have to be inexpensive but still have all the features you need in an unmanaged network switch. TP-Link TL-SG105 can be a great choice. Cheers!
not a great choice for me. Had far too unreliable connection. If you're doing anything revolving live stream,/live upload, this one simply won't get the job done, too much packet loss
Uh... the very first review says it has 8 gigabit ports when the image and text says it only has 5. Not watching any more. Besides. Nothing from Ubiquity was on the list.
Really? The top 5 you recommend max out at 1G? In 2022? Really. I would recommend not less than 2.5 g or even 10G if cost is not prohibitive. This is poor advice
5⃣ D-Link DGS-1008G: (Amazon) geni.us/JVOVD

Is the #4 Netgear POE compatible???

You should read the box before making assumptions... clown 🤣🤣
WOW! actually this video was the review that I was searching for,

Yes
Yes mate

Another thumbs up for the GS108. I also just picked up the GS108PP which is POE to power a couple of devices I have. So simple to get up and running.

Yes. I wouldn't call this a review. Like you said, reading the promotion and product description on the box is not really a review.
can we add any lan AP/repeater/extender device to the switch??
Yes you can add a AP/extender to a switch, as long as that switch is behind a DHCP server (Standard router).
I need 40 Gbps switch. Any recommendation?
I don't know much about the etherium connectors, thanks for sharing information.
I am checking your video. :-) :-) :-)
excellent compilation on the best Ethernet Switches, I want to buy one and these are great, I will buy one of these, thanks for the guide
and yes, I noticed the box was for a different switch....bait and switch??
I recently connected the TP link switch to our Eero wifi router and I feel like my connection is not as good. I’m working from home and frequently lose connection or our mobile devices connect to wifi don’t work as fast. Could it be the switch?
The switch has nothing to do with the access point
I need something small for my business. I have 1 cash register 1kitchen printer and 2 computers. What do you guys recommend? Any help please

These are truly the top 5, great video!
why doesnt these hhave nothing for 2.b or higher
I can tell you you don't want one made of plastic, I had one before and it melted from getting too hot. I have never bought a plastic switch or router from that point forward I do believe you get what you pay for.
Great. This is all the useful information I am looking for. I plan to buy one too.

01:07 5 ports not 8

To-link tl-sg105
Sick of not being able to tell what date a video came out. Time stamps matter youtube.

So the best switch money could buy in 2021 was a $20 5 port Netgear item!?
What a load of misleading information.
great video about the top 5 best ethernet switch 2020
So this is a 2023 review from 2 years ago? 🧐
Riiiiiiiight…..
I love the features that n.1 has for gaming, video calling also as that has become so important in these times

The sound effects were incredibly annoying and distracting.
Everything in this video, is consumer grade JUNK, avoid all these brands and save your self headaches.
I bought the Netgear over the Chinese products
what an accumulation of marketing blah.
This is LITERALLY the worst list of switches you could put together…😂
The GS108 is solid and reliable, been using mine for years without issue. A very robust, solid bit of kit.
