I don’t think people appreciate your videos enough… honestly this is awesome work. Few people would even be willing to make such interesting explanatory-type videos for Critical Ops. You go the extra mile with the little things and I think this is just awesome. If you somehow inspire others to do such things that would be incredible for the scene. I think everyone at any stage of their career in cops can learn a lot from your videos. Much love Phinix ❤️💪🏽
Thanks for all the praise my dude.. I hope more people use their standing to actually try change shit instead of cashing out on a dying game. Much love back.. Going to dm you about something later.
Wow amazing explanation and its nice to see someone trying to compare c ops and high level fps game but the thing is when you go high level game to low level game the community also goes low the thing you try to do here is respectfull but its not effective when you try to explain to low level community they dont understand how game meta and balance works thats why they dont react to mistakes in game they keep playing the game it causes devs to think theyre game is fine if you want to change something first you have to change communities mind and its hard when you are doing it on low level game its bassicaly bringing civilization to people in eastern countries but thats a great video keep it up
Well, back then the competitive scene used to be able to argue their viewpoint well enough so that the devs would have a decent idea of where the flaws in their games actually are, but currently it seems like a large portion of the people who have the ability to directly talk to the devs don't really use that for the greater good, but instead just push their own agenda. I can tell it is not too effective to make a video like this to explain stuff to the lower end of the playerbase, but I would just like to have to information out there, available for everyone to see and showing what part of the community is willing to learn and improve and what part isn't.
I have played critical ops long time ago and I played it somewhat competitively, however since I quit I do play it sometimes just to enjoy how good the game I felt it was.... but at the end of the day I came to the realization that this game is just a pocket game that you download it once, enjoy it for a period of time, then forget about it. It is like candy crash thing so I don't expect it to be without aim assist anymore. I mean that alot of players just go into the game have some fun and leave 🤷 who wants to be putting hours of practice for a mobile game like comon...
and that is exactly the point. The mindset that it is either a comp scene or a casual scene is just wrong and outdated. Not only pc games have managed to have the best of both worlds. Critical Ops has always been a game that any casual player can enjoy, but no matter how much you support players doing so, you should not replace the practice that you CAN have in a game like that. No, you should not need to put hundreds of hours into a mobile game to be able to remotely enjoy it, but doing it should give you a significant advantage over the people that don't. This is not currently the case and that is what I am criticizing in this video.
Your point on aim assist is absolutely valid but given example of stand-off 2 was meh cause stand-off 2 has done smart work to make the game playable for new and noob players without aim assist by removing the aspects of jiggle from moment like practically u can do it but it is way harder than cops. Where as cops has insane amount of jiggle movement mechanism which even sometimes new or noob players can do. Here comes the aim assist which makes your all point valid no matter how many time u jiggle or sholder peek to prefire u gona struggle against a gold player. For now if they completely remove it then things will turn quickly around and then gold player will blame on game being hard cause someone on plat or daimond knows how to jiggle peek him and as touch is not superior like mouse aiming he is definitely gona struggle more than a lot than he should be and then he will choke a lot finally becoming to iron player.
Basically what i mean is strafing mechanism with no aim assist makes this game skill gap a big long bridge between gold and plat players and that bridge is like way harder than crossing from plat to daimond.
Standoff features aim assist, but in a way different way compared to c-ops, or at least so I am told from people who know how things like that work. Imagine the following. C-Ops' aim assist works the exact way it currently does, but everything that currently makes it glitch out is polished and does not happen anymore. When the crosshair is stuck between 2 enemies it decides for one. If server were better, aim assist wouldnt follow jiggling players into the wall and all that jazz right? That would not make the game better, it'd make it worse. The fact that the aim assist is only mildly broken and not gamebreaking levels of overpowered is, because it does not work as intended. It is because it has those flaws that is has yk. The game cannot and should not account for the ignorance of casual players, tho c-ops currently could do more to show them how to obtain the information to get them out of their infinite loop of not knowing how to improve and not finding a way to improve.

First of all I've been playing c ops since 2015 and i stopped playing at 2020 but in my opinion CFE has some bigger problems to fix HACKERS . when i was playing c ops it was usually at normal level but i heard that there are hackers in almost every rank nowadays so the problem here is CFE should stop thinking that skins are better than anti cheat they've been doing this for 5 fricking years and people starting noticing it NOW this is my own opinion as a guy who played this game for 5 years (it was a just a waste of time for sure...)
The issue with that is the following. Skins are made by designers. Aside from stream graphics and other stuff, this is all they do. Making these skins does not smaller the workforce in any other field of gamedesign. Now Anticheat. If it was easy to make an anticheat, everyone would. if it was something that 2 drunk fucks could throw together in an afternoon, everyone would. Tencent, certainly the gaming company with the most financial resources is also trying not to have cheaters in their games, obviously. Tho they have successfully managed to do that for smaller increments of time, none of that held on forever.. I guess you remember the "perfect anticheat" in Fortnite which held for a few months. Then people found exploits and since then hackers are not that rare there anymore.. Now imagine a company like Critical Force, with a fraction of the financial backing, trying to solve the exact same issues. I don't think that it is surprising that they are not 100% successful either. Critical Force does a pretty decent job, given we have had bigger increments within the game's lifespan where hackers were a rare sight. Currently this is not the case and a ton of people are working their ass off to improve on the anticheat, just none of that is visible to the public, which apparently makes people think anti cheat developers are spinning in circles on their chairs all day.
I play without aim assist and also use gyro for small adjustments. This was a waste of time becuase there is aim assist and I would love it to be removed. I can't play standoff becuase there is no gyro support and I am playing with gyro for many years now. I am keeping my hopes on valorant.
I mean, I can certainly see the benefits of playing without aim assist, but I just wouldn't do that in c-ops. On paper, gyro seems pretty good, but just nothing I would personally do on an iPad. Valorant is going to have gyro from what I know.

no.. The game is favoring ipads more with aim assist being there. Tho ipads are certainly having advantages towards phone, they can be compensated by simply being more skilled. if the game is difficult, the phone players who put work in will destroy 99% of ipad player, unless they also put work in. Back in 2017, aim assist was not used as much (or even people that used did not change their entire playstyle to accommodate it) and some phone players, the ones that put work in were able to play tier 1. Naarkz is an amazing case where a player played on an exceptional level despite playing on a somewhat bad device. (This is probably the best video to show it: ruclips.net/video/GiWmb0aBX-Q/видео.html) Removing or nerfing aim assist gives every player a fair ground and if you put more work in, you will be able to overcome disadvantage by device. In the current meta this is not possible. Literally every player nowadays can play at the highest level without putting any particular work in. This means, literally any player, no matter their skilllevel can massively elevate their gameplay by buying a better device. A game with less aim assist is overall better for everyone.
