- A lovely 2 day hike. A 55 km walk along Cheshire's Sandstone Ridge and the rural flat plains of Cheshire. Starting from the ancient market town of Frodsham on the Mersey estuary in the north, to Georgian Whitchurch in the rural north of Shropshire, in the south

Great video Phil, I've done the sandstone a few times when I was a AI with Cheshire ACF. One time n a stretch near Beeston the path was really over grown and the there's a house just before the path, e was warned by the bloke from the house his Bees was Swarming and to be careful, bloody hell me and the 6 cadets i was with couldn't complete that stretch quick enough lol.
