Why is the usb-c a con? or the turbo button for that matter? how does it negatively impact it? also for the D-pad I couldn't care less, I barely use it in games (I don't play fighting games, or retro games, so that might explain it) so I don't see it as a negative. To me all I see are the pros, I think it's pretty sweet! Awesome video! 🙏🏻
The USB-C port had a very narrow entrance, so not all USB-C cables could fit in properly. Regarding the turbo button, sorry I didn't really demonstrate the issue well - but basically it's in a place that is easily mistaken for "select". I accidentally pushed it many times, leaving autofire set to the analogue trigger, and things like that. D-Pad, sure, it depends on the audience. That's why at the end of the video we stated that it suits modern games better than retro-games. Thanks for the comment! :-)
this company usually have macro programable bottons and you didn't review the additional 4 bottons on the lower side , but having such a bad D-Pad beats the point of having macros , because that is mainly useful for arcade games. but till now i didn't find good controller with these new features and macros
@@HeavyInstinctI think there's a standard we expect for quality in the west. No matter the location of the controls, if they feel awful, it automatically makes the whole unit feel like something you'd buy from the dollar store. Don't get me wrong, this controller has some great features, but the foundation needs to be solid.
Range of functionality wise, this would look very attractive for the price. Shame about the D pad and turbo button placement but things that can be easily corrected by the manufacturer. I rather like the placement of the D pad. If it can support both directinput and xinput modes then that will also bode well for a wide range of platforms. The manufacturer is definitely on the right track and it shows how overpriced the so called brand names often are,
can you test if Gyro to mouse mode on steam works with this controller? I know it has 6 axis gyro, but if it cant be used in Steam then this will be a no-buy
Wow! just noticed that you are nearing 25k subscribers, Tim! Congratz on the resultz of hard work!
Thank you very much!
Why..WHY ignore the importance of the D-pad.
No quality D-pad equals no sale.

Betteridge's law of headlines.
@@Tense had to check up on what that was, but to say anything is the best ever? The answer will always be no.

Not not not Xbox designed in xbox fashion???
Im sticking to my 8bitdo Pro2
The pro2 is the one to beat, even the dpad's in the right place 😁
@@TeamPandoryThis is my choice as well. In large part because of the position of the d-pad and analog sticks.

I use the 8bitdo pro 2 to play pokemon and stream from my android handhelds.
@@TeamPandory I simply prefer the playstation configuration over xbox and the quality of 8bitdo is second to none
Loved that little d-pad daddy you sang at the end. Sick back ups.
