The idea of making figures of old concept art or unreleased prototypes is awesome! I’d love to see some from other properties.

Absolutely LOVE that they released the early concept art and story behind these figures! Think they're kinda cool, especially Clambo, this concept might even be a little better than his finalized design in the series. Thank you so much for sharing these with us. :)

Jawsome! Love clamado but the others just don't look right. Right idea making concepts but should of still made them in that Street Shark style.

Man I feel like they wouldn't feel kinda overpriced if they had put them in cage boxes.
Cages and rubbery real skin feel would have made them a homerun even if they’re sticking to the sketch. On the other hand i wouldn’t mind to see more street sharks in an Ultimates form or just recreated like the real ones, el swordo or the other unproduced ones. But with the colors like they did em in the 90’s 😁

As a street shark collector i’d be getting the clammando anyways, the price is about what we pay in europe anyways for new adult collector stuff. I’m least impressed with Karkas and actually Ripster looks pretty cool next to the other street sharks. As far as a deluxe toy goes i think they’re pretty good if you like the character. The only big thing missing is a caged display box and real skin rubbery feel ☺️🦈

Mattel Creations is bringing back the WWE retro figures. The first set is Wrestlemania 1. We get Mr.T, Roddy Piper, Mene Gene and Cowboy Bob Orton.
I really hope this is a tester to see if people want street sharks back

Well not really what I was of expecting. I do like Karkass though😅 but at 75$ a piece I think I'll pass. On the flipside Teknodromentoys just made a really awesome recreation of the original unreleased Clamando that might be worth saving the money for.
I’m gonna try getting that teknodromen one, i got the polluto he made and that thing is amazing. Fun to see his clammando progression on the insta page 😁 seems like he’s almost there!
I have a sneaking suspicion that Playmates may do something similar with the early TMNT property concept characters soon...they SHOULD at least
That would be awesome to see, so many unproduced toy concepts need to come to life by the original sculpters but for now they just keep rereleasing the 10-back 🥲

This is amazing. too Pricey. Clamando def pick up. I would love them to make an El Swordo and Dr. Bolton. Reveal what form he would’ve taken. I’m guessing octopus

yeah i preorder clambo simply because he just fits with the rest. He was really expensive though. My only excuse is impulse buy. I also hope by everyone buying Clambo they realize they need to stick with characters that were loved by everyone. Which was pretty much all the original lines. And I am holding out that they make some extreme dinosaurs.......

The Piranha one doesn't look that great but the other two are well done. I don't buy Street Sharks but I would buy this set for sure. The clam dude looks awesome. I like how it all matches vintage collections. I hope Super7 does some vintage unreleased TMNT with Varner Studios. I mentioned it in a few live streams and did the superchat thing and the people who were running the chat were like oh thats a great idea and Kyle from Super7 was like never say never so hopefully we will see some stuff. I'm surprised Mattel did this. I think its awesome. Its nice that they fit with the vintage collection.

It’s a seperate company that reached out to send me something mattel related, didn’t know anything about what I was getting. I guess that company searches for fans that will gladly share 🤓

These are a joke. $75 a pop for 5POA figures based on concept art? Mattel better get real. These should have been 3 classic characters with updated articulation. That still wouldn’t necessarily be worth my $75 but it would be closer.
My thoughts exactly. I have the og street sharks and they look way better than what Mattel came out with. Was hoping they would give ripster rubber skin, not hard plastic
@@ermac7636 yeah the OG’s look way better than this garbage. Hopefully they’ll give Super 7 the license to make ultimates because that’s what these should have been like. For $75 they should have modern articulation, maybe extra head or swappable face plates/mouths and tons of accessories.

Man, those colors and sticking to that original sketch art were a bad idea. Also, a bad idea? That price point. Yikes. They look so cheap. Clambo definitely is the best one though. If I got one, it'd be him. Then I'd get him repainted ASAP. Glad you got them for free. They spared you the shame of paying so much for such poor products.

I’m sorry but $75 for a figure is way too rich for my liking. Street sharks have held a special place in my heart since I was little and I own a good amount of the line. But this is ridiculous to ask that much for these. Maybe a special price if you get all 3 for $100-120. I can’t justify ever throwing that much for something 😅
I hate that they are so skinny! Street Sharks has to have gigantic muscles and that bulkyness.. reminds me of how they ruined the ninja turtles with the looks
