Latest update of Golf+ has the AMVR as an option…but it didn’t seem to work when I selected it. Club appeared 20 yards away from me at address!! 😱🤣 Thoughts on how to get my AMVR club properly calibrated to Golf+ ???
I've only just started playing Golf+. I find that doing a full swing gives bad results in game. Constant slicing and hitting the ball right. Do you find the same thing? I have to end playing with a half or 30% swing.
I have been enjoying walkabout mini golf for some time now. Also have golf+. My question is that it appears you lose control of the buttons which I use constantly to change my position and to move from hole to hole. Is that correct?
I'm wondering the same thing. I tend to keep the grip button pressed most of the time so I can see the pin or green contours, so I guess that won't be possible any more 🤷♂️
I want to try one last resort and get some advice from you before I return the product. It’s the last thing I want to do because this product seems to get such great reviews everywhere. Here’s my issue: I played the game with the basic controller and used my real life golf swing and had no issues with hitting it straight or having any slices or hooks. I bought this club because it seemed like it would make it more realistic. Got the club and used it on the range and it hits every ball so far right no matter what I try. I’ve tried making the club shorter, longer, face closed, face open, “None” as attachment, “Custom” as attachment” “AMVR” as attachment and it all does the same thing. Tried it on the course and it hits the ball so far right that it’s OB. Beyond frustrating … any suggestions?
I had the exact same experience with a attachment I made myself from an old club handle and 3D printed controller slot. Not sure if a software update would fix this issue but there are quite a few people with the same problem.
Going to the range and dialing in all your clubs made a huge difference. The controller doesn't square up well at impact with a club attachment. Angling your clubs in, setting your swing to a pull, and spin to a draw makes the flight realistic with a full swing. Guys are cheating by increasing the power to full and doing a slow half swing. But I want a simulator type experience. Start with your driver and work through every club and dial the sliders in individually.. I've found they all are a bit different in how much they slice and push.
What is your favorite VR golf game? If you have any Questions about this attachment, let us know!
Walkabout
Golf+
after a year, have you noticed any issues with the AMVR club?
I can't believe how much Dead Eye VR charges for what amounts to a grip, a couple of straps, a shaft and a 3d printed holder. Seems kinda ridiculous.

The video shows an option for custom adjustment. 4:52 in. 👍

Golf+ for sure. A real pleasure. Sadly I did not find any proper attachment for the Quest 3.
Which one is better?
Thanks for the review I've been looking for a VR club for Golf +
I placed my order before I fished the video lol…thanks bruddah!

Does it work with regular Oculus Rift controller?
I got one myself the aiming is a little weird but I got used to it
Agreed. Great commentary.

Thanks for the video, have you had any concerns with it eventually coming loose? Or see it happening?
Not yet no. Everything has been solid so far.
Do I have to have one I’m trying to get golf+ I’m just making sure
Is there enough room on the shaft to stick adhesive wheel balancing weights on to tune the "club" feel

The grips are a non-issue. You can change them out to match your real clubs so we shouldn’t bother reviewing the grip.
